It has been about a year since I stayed at this property and it’s looking its age.
The breakfast has changed from the standard eggs, back on, sausage breads baked goods to only breads, bagels and porridge and a few baked goods and fruit with yogurt and if you would like eggs bacon has brown potatoes you need to pay 10$ for that.
The room was clean but the bathroom smelled of urine and I have stayed here in the past multiple times without any issues.
Hence the 3out of 5

No kitchen sink or tap in the rooms, so you have to buy water. The saltwater pool stung our eyes so badly that our vision was blurry for the rest of the night. Most of the staff were indifferent. There was no protein included with breakfast unless you paid an additional fee. The tub in the room was nice and was probably the highlight of the trip. It’s an okay place to stay, but isn’t good though it has the potential to be.

A reasonable place to stay. My room was clean but would note that the hotel itself is showing some of its age. There is a slight musty smell in the hallways.

Hotel staff are friendly. And the location was convenient during my stay.

Would likely stay here again, depending on the room pricing.

The room is clean and is cleaned every 2 days but you can request to clean your room if needed. Staff are courteous and knows what they are doing. However, breakfast staff slams the plates and silverwares when cleaning the breakfast area that makes it annoying for people who are still eating. Breakfast only consists of carbohydrates. Breads, porridge and cereals. It was advertised as free continental breakfast but you have to pay if you want proteins - like eggs, bacon and sausage.

Three night family getaway. The high point was the staff, ALL GREAT ! But, the high rated reviews were miss-leading. Nothing really bad but things came up short. Location and parking were good. The rooms were clean, but seemed dated. The pool was small and very shallow, only really good for kids. The bar was nice and the staff great, very friendly! The breakfast was sort of a bust, the included breakfast was minimal continental, any one looking for eggs or protein had to pay extra per person. Then what came out tasted OK, but eas the smallest portions possible. A couple eggs, three micro sausages, seven home fries, and a strawberry. So beware! Rooms were quiet, but curtains were not black out, mattresses were comfy but two adults tended to roll towards the middle, and were not huge folks. Room had all the stuff Traveler’s need, and house keeping were glad to provide extras as required. Girls were not happy with lighting when applying the make up, and I wish the shower produced some pressure. With all this said, we didn’t hate the place, but will probably look around at other local hotels first before considering another stay. Again, the staff were ALL GREAT !

The location was great 2 minutes off the 407. Parking was easy. The rooms were clean but very dated. The breakfast included was nothing but coffee yogurt and a muffin. Early check in we asked for was only if we paid $50. That didn’t happen but would have been nice as we travelled a distance to get there and needed to leave for a business meeting 20 minutes after allowed check in. The price kept changing on various apps getting cheaper the day before our stay.

The hotel is well located in Markham. However arriving at night from Denison St, we drove into a poorly lit drive way which ended up in its neighbor's dark parking lot. Turns out the hotel parking is via a long side road from its neighbor's driveway!
Once inside, the entire hotel ground floor appears to be an afterthought by the architect. Anyone new to the hotel will be dis-oriented by a myriad of hall ways, poor signage and a reception desk hidden behind the elevator shaft.
While most reception staff were helpful, there was one who asked me to pay $1.25 for a throw-away toothbrush and another who told me to buy my own water when our room was not restocked with bottled water on our second day.
Though the hotel is about 12 years old, the maintenance has not been kept up. Inside our room, the bedside phone's audio does not work. The vinyl cover on the only swivel chair is falling apart and so is more fit for the junk yard than a hotel room charging $200+/night. Inside the bath room, a wall paper is starting to lift off at the edge. Pillows with trapped odour, tired looking linens and pillow cases should also be retired. Lastly the room's coffee maker was totally disgusting inside, apparently no one checked what was left by a previous guest.
For the breakfast, it is only little better than most motels, with the only warm item being the oatmeal. And as if to ensure no one eat or drink too much, it features possibly the smallest plate and coffee cup used for breakfast.

I was 2 minutes late for the breakfast serving time. The lady in the counter was very not welcoming and told me there is no breakfast anymore. I asked how about coffee? The answer was the same.
I respect the schedule need to be solid but felt very disappointed as there is no warmth or sympathy, and treated as if I’m and idiot asking the breakfast after only 2 minutes later—

Please consider more flexible breakfast ending time, it’s not difficult to give the customers a piece of bread, muffins, apples and coffee.
