This is a beautiful hotel. Location was great - close to everything! We loved that it was next to Florinda Collective, a gluten free bakery. The rooftop bar and pool was a nice amenity. Highly recommend this hotel.

Lovely check-in experience with great staff, welcomed with a drink and introduced to the room quickly. Hotel itself is a very charming building and generally well maintained, however, post-cleaning, the smell was quite strong, so bear that in mind if you have a sensitive nose.

First night was unfortunately awful - we stayed in room 105 on the ground floor, and there were constant pipes or some other clanging sounds which meant we got no sleep at all. Unsure if it is the same for all ground floor rooms, but would suggest to put this room out of commission.

The staff did change our room on request the next day without any questions, and it meant a far better rest the next few nights up until our departure.

A big positive was the breakfast - really nice offering, good coffee, with a mixture of hot and cold foods and nice juices.

Overall a good hotel, close to the centre of the city, walkable to the main attractions. Just let down by the horrible first night.

Everything about Casa Romána is beautiful and well taken care of. Rooms have every convenience and comfort, breakfast is lovely and the people are always friendly and kind. Location is fun no matter which way you walk. There's a taxi stand close by and wonderful shopping and eating. 10 min walk to the Guralda and 20 min to Triana.

My stay in Seville was incredible, even though it was just for one night. We arrived earlier than expected, and while the room wasn’t ready yet, the staff kindly offered us a glass of wine, making the wait much more pleasant. The room and the facilities were impeccably clean. I truly enjoyed my experience and would happily stay here again!

We first stayed at Casa Romana in March 2013, we enjoyed our stay then so it made sense to re-book for our 2024 trip. The hotel is very conveniently situated in central Seville, the staff are extremely polite and helpful and the room, although not huge, was absolutely what we needed after quite a long day's travel. The interior architecture and design of the hotel is classic.

2/3 star hotel masquerading as 4 star

Hotel in central location along a very narrow street - there is no space to pull over and park to unload suitcases etc without buses and local traffic getting very irate. Hotel reception staff very unhelpful and did not offer to help unload our bags quickly or even help at all. Same staff gave wrong directions to local carpark and roads surrounding the hotel were all being dug up for road works. poor start to hotel stay

All the photos on the booking sites are technically correct but they flatter to decieve..... the pool is about 2m square.... the sun loungers dont actually fit in the space shown as this space is used for bar tables....

The restaurant is in a small room on floor -1.... hot and no windows

Lovely hotel in the heart of the old city. It was stressful to drive to the hotel due to the very narrow street and to be honest that’s nothing to blame on the hotel as in fact this is why I highly recommend the hotel due to its location inside the old city. I parked my car the whole time and everything was walking distance for eating, tourist attractions and all. Beautiful hotel and very elegant furnishing.

We had an amazing time here and cannot fault it in any way. Our room had two small balconies on the third floor. The bathroom with a whirlpool bath and shower. Night service as well as the morning. The hotel has captured the feeling that you’re in an old Roman villa. The décor is very tasteful. We did go to the rooftop every day and have a beer or two . It’s not particularly large but can accommodate enough at the end of a sightseeing day.
The hotel is situated in the old part of Seville and an Aldi is just up the street together with all the usual high street shops. The cathedral is a fifteen minute walk away but it’s a tourist area which we found more expensive for our beers. We went over the river to the commercial centre and also to Triana … a fifteen minute walk as well. The market there is certainly worth a visit. We had a delicious lunch there. All in all we would definitely return to the Casa Romana and thoroughly enjoyed our trip to Seville.

Beautiful little boutique in the heart of old town

This is a nice boutique with friendly staff In old town, very close to the Cathedral, And many restaurants and bars in old town. Nice small cool pool and view on top of hotel. We drove and they had an offsite parking garage. Few blocks awAy, which was fine. They wanted to know how they could do better (always a sign of a hood hotel in my opinion) and only advice we had was to let clients who had indicated they were driving in and asking how to unload and park - let them know that there is nowhere to unload in front of the hotel and the cars and taxis behind you get mad if you try. They didn’t have a bellhop to help, so ask for directions to garage ahead of visit and park first and bring bags to hotel would be good advice to give).

Casa Romana was special right from the moment we reached reception - friendly and helpful welcome ( with drink and hot towel ) at the front desk from Alfonso, and indeed all other staff during our short stay. Beautifully decorated, airy and spotlessly clean throughout this historic and impressively restored hotel. We really enjoyed the facilities and cleanliness of our spacious, quiet and comfortable room 305, appreciated the hotel's convenient location and can recommend the excellent breakfast served by very attentive staff. Rest assured that these are genuinely appreciative comments, not provided lightly, about a gem of a hotel which we were very fortunate to find and have as a base to enjoy the beautiful city of Seville for a few days.

Very professional but warm Check in. The location is fantastic. Maybe a half block from la Alameda de Hercules which is a great place to eat and tap war with the españoles. You can walk to la Giralda, about 20 minutes, and discover lovely little plazas on the way. The room was impeccably clean and I got an upgrade to a suite which was very comfy. There is a Terraza which serves fri is and tapas and gives an incredible view of Sevilla. I couldn’t sleep one night and went up to view the crescent moon. Pretty spectacular. This my second stay there and I will again. Keep calling to me Sevilla! Keep up the beautiful service Casa Romana.

Servicio excelente, las personas de la recepción son súper amigables, atentos, la limpieza también. Localización envidiable. Mi grandísimo problema fue con la climatización del hotel. Yo no quiero usar la temperatura que los demás crean que deba ser. Por qué razón no ponen un aire pequeño independiente para cada habitación y se puede aún preservar el lugar. Abrir la ventana no tiene que ser la opción, eso hace perder privacidad.
Realmente no regreso más a ese hotel debido a que casi no pude dormir debido al calor.

Fantastic first visit to Seville. Stayed 3 nights in the Casa Romana Boutique Hotel. Surpassed expectations. Lovely comfortable room, very clean and great bathroom. The bar and pool on the roof top were a welcome bonus in the heat of the day. Staff friendly and couldn't do enough for you. Enjoyed the hotel breakfast on one morning, which again surpassed our expectations. A fabulous array of continental and cooked choices. Even cava to start the day! We will definitely return and without doubt stay at this lovely hotel which was perfectly positioned for all we wanted to do in Seville.

Overall we loved this property. It is in a brilliant location close to great shopping areas, a huge Corte Ingles and you can walk to most of the big sites including the Cathedral and Alcazar Palace. There are plenty of cafes and restsurants nearby.

Pur room was a little small, eepecially if you were trying to use the desk for working.

The rooftop bar was closed for mist of our stay and the bar facility not available at ground level initially.

We had made two bookings at the hotel. Initially, they checked us in in a twin room. For the next two days, they gave us a double bedroom. As we were two friends it was highly uncomfortable for us. The 2nd room was of the size of a match box. A request of extra bedding was also denied to us. The staff wasnt very friendly.

We LOVED this hotel !!! It is a smaller boutique hotel, the rooms are small, but the atmosphere is great. Staff is very attentive, helped us set up tours and recommended great places to eat. Rooftop lounge was a great spot to relax with a glass of wine or cool off in the cooling pool.

Very central to all of Seville

Casa romana was a beautiful hotel. The rooms were lovely. Staff helpful. However the solarium was locked. The bar was closed so could only get a drink from mini bar in room which was limited. There was tea and coffee in room. We went the week after the festival in April and the staff had been given time off as they had done extra shifts. There were plenty of bars and restaurants around the area and the food was excellent in every one we went in. All in all we had a lovely time.

The concierge when we arrived (believe his name was Juan but not sure) was very helpful. He pointed us in the direct of a great lunch place, not too touristy. He also reserved tickets for us for a flamenco show that we ended up loving and gave us an overview of the different areas in Sevilla that we should see. The evening concierge was also helpful and reserved a taxi for us for our early morning flight. My only complaint is that the wifi didn't really work in our room, only in the hallway/lobby area.

This is a beautiful old hotel, renovated and very elegant. I booked this last minute from a train station and was so happy when the taxi delivered us there, in the heart of old Seville. Great walking about and a lovely rooftop restaurant, bar and cool large jacuzzi. We had been on a train and bus that day so to go to the jacuzzi and relax and then go for a walk was heaven. We returned to the hotel for dinner and drinks on their rooftop which was delicious and a quiet oasis in the midst of a very busy day

The location is great, within walking distance to Barrio Santa Cruz and many of Seville's sights. The room was clean and the staff friendly. The problem is that the room was very small. We could hardly fit our suitcases in. Very little space beyond the bed. Also, the it listed free transportation to/from the train station among the amenities, but that is not the case. We inquired at the front desk and they had no idea what I was talking about.

Nice hotel but parking was a problem and expensive

The hotel is on a main road therefore stopping to check in an enquire about parking was a problem. It was very difficult to find in the one way narrow streets. We drove round Seville for about 45 minutes before we found it. We couldn't believe how cheap the stay was £28 for the night!). The nearby underground car park cost about the same as the room for 24 hours (27+ Euros). We thought we had got a really good deal but then realised we had been given a disabled room with grab rails around the toilet and the shower and a seat in the shower. On the plus side the room was very comfortable and the bed was lovely. If you walk out of the hotel you are very central for the narrow backs streets and a main shopping streets.
Overall, the hotel was very nice, the room was very comfortable but not too happy about the disabled facilities in the bathroom and the parking situation. If I went again I would probably stay in a hotel across the river in Triana with parking included and walk across the river to the historic park where we stayed.

5 days exploring Seville and Granada- this hotel provided us with a delightful 'home' and extremely comfortable experience, Stunning architecture and décor.
Pity by mid- October the roof-top bar and tapas restaurant were not active though we enjoyed sitting up there enjoying the sun and the view and the waiter was very happy to bring us up refreshments.The staff were very welcoming and eager to help in any way.
Interesting location with a number of excellent restaurants very close- the Hotel is well with in walking distance from the main Sites of the city,
We would certainly return to the Casa Romana Hotel if we go back to Seville and will recommend it to friends.

The beds were very comfortable and the bedding was excellent, the room was kept very clean apart from the walk in shower which the tiles and floor were dirty, and needed a good overall. The only problem was there was no sun loungers to relax in an afternoon after a day of sightseeing. We knew there wasn't a pool but on the pictures on the internet it looked like there were sun loungers, which was very disappointing

Very good relation between quality and price. The staff of the hotel was extremely friendly (they even gave us a bottle of wine as a present), the rooms are very clean and comfortable. The hotel has a very nice terrace on the roof that can be use to grab drink during the night, a plus that most hotels of similar prices don't have. The only down side is that some details of the room may be a bit to old ( f.e. the shower head was quite old and there fore stuck into one single type of stream) Appart from those very small details the hotel is an excellent option.

The Casa Romana hotel is perfectly located if you want to walk around some of the oldest and most scenic neighborhoods of Seville. It is also walking distance to a excellent restaurants and tapas bars. Don't miss the Catedral de Sevilla.
Our room at Casa Romana was very comfortable and quiet. We especially appreciated the courtesy and helpfulness of the hotel staff. For instance, we wanted to take a tour bus to Alhambra, and the hotel staff made all the arrangements for us (and they picked an excellent company, among the many available).

Good but not great

A lovely old building ,but not quite in the right part of the city. It is within easy reach of the main attractions but if you turn left the area is uncared for with a lot of graffiti. This is unfortunate as there are some excellent tapas bars a few hundred metres further on.
The hotel was very clean and quiet ( we did specify a quiet room), however we did have a problem with getting hot water, both times it was sorted quickly. Toiletries were not replaced each day, we were there 3 nights and only the soap was re-newed. Some of the staff were somewhat brusque, and some were very nice.
All in all we enjoyed Seville but would pick a more central hotel if we were to go again.

central location

It's a small, centrally located hotel that has attractive decor and built in neo classical style with an atrium and perstylium; that is, the reception and main room areas are built around open courtyards so there is a light and airy ambiance. But the standard room is small as was the 'double bed' which was closer in size to a large single than kingsize. Also, whilst the facilities (roof top bar with jacuzzi) were nice enough they were closed in the evening during our stay.
The bed was small as mentioned but also uncomfortable, too soft and sloping to the sides. The bathroom was modern with a good shower. The aircon was intermittent and overly judicious use of air fresheners gave us headaches (really, this was very excessive & made us nauseous taking several hours of the windows open to dissipate). The small minibar had a light but no chill, meaning the expensive bottled water was rather warm. Strangely the hotel was also poorly stocked & it took the charming and helpful receptionist to scour 3 floors and 20 minutes to find an extra bottle of water.
The hotel does have a great location though, 1 minute to the square with El corte Inglais and coffee shops, 3 minutes to fashionable Calle Sierpes and no more than 10 mins to the historic central district.

Perfect location, great staff

I would absolutely recommend this Hotel if you want to explore Seville. The roof terrace has a great view over the city. Would definitely use again.

Great boutique hotel, central location

Great facilities and staff. Walking distance to all centro attractions/restaurants. Wonderful full breakfast included.

Only issue we had was wifi - it was hit & miss.

Otherwisem highly recommend.

Lovely hotel

Great stay in a deluxe twin room, with almost anything you could need. Hotel staff friendly, helpful (including a tip on an excellent tapas restaurant just around the corner) and spoke good English. Hotel layout was quite quirky as access to rooms from balconies around a central open space on each floor, but very stylishly laid out. Breakfast area small for circulating but quality of food good and didn't really cause any issues. My only quibble is that the mattresses were softer than I would like / expect, but to some extent that is a personal preference.
