We booked this property because it had a pool but the day before check in they let us know that the pool was not available but that we could use the pool at other properties, one of which was 30 mins away. I asked if they could move the booking to these other locations but they did not have availability. I feel a discount should be offered in this instance, without a car in a foreign city it’s not convenient to travel to another location for the pool.

I will also say that it should be noted that although the location is amazing it is in a non uber zone due to private roads. It would have been helpful to have this noted in the check in instructions given we had luggage to walk with.

Just stayed here for 6 nights. Location is excellent for shopping and dinning/ bars, everything is right at your door step. Apartment is very basic, could use some updating and a really good deep clean. Bed is not the most comfortable and a thin mattress. All in all I would recommend for location.

Layout of the rental was great! Kids had their room with their own beds. The washer/dryer helped us with packing light because we were able to wash clothes mid trip. Location was great! Go right and you have shops. Go straight you have attractions. Go left you have restaurants. I would recommend! We did not use rooftop pool because it was November, but views were great!

I would definitely come back here as it is very walkable and near everything. We enjoyed our stay here as it was very clean and with complete ameneties. The place was spacious. It included kitchen and laundry which is a huge plus. Only thing is that communication needs some improvement.

Beautiful property with high tech amenities. Very clean well kept. Fantastic location cannot explain that enough.

Advise for US travelers: although washer / dryer unit is provided understand that most European dryers are not going to fully dry your clothes. This washer/dryer combo was “weaker” than other dryers we’ve used in Europe but it was a very nice to have the unit onsite.

Lockers provided after check out where really convenient!

Really excellent location in the gothic quarter of Barcelona, just steps from historic wonders, shops and restaurants. A completely virtual check-in process which was seamless. The small rooftop pool with cathedral views was a nice bonus. The apartment itself was clean and comfortable. Perhaps could have done with some English instructions for the washer/dryer. Overall extremely happy.

The apartment is awesome. Very clean and well organized. Kitchen is great. Washer and dryer is a bonus.
The beds weren't great. The master bedroom was quite hard. Our daughter left the twin room to sleep on the couch.
However beds are a personal preference so it may be great for others.
The location is great. We walked everywhere.
I would highly recommend.
The building manager was awesome.

Our only disappointment was after the first day we couldnt get access to the pool area. Don't be confused. It is more like a 12 by 12 concrete pool but the rooftop sitting area is awesome. It would have been nice to sit out in the evenings.we had called and asked 2 times but what they said didnt work so we moved on. Very small disappointment. The apartment is worth that small inconvenience

A place good for the family trip

As a lot of other reviews mentioned, this apartment is so convenient for families with young kids, as there is a playground downstairs and my kids enjoyed there everyday. Overall, the location is great, close to all kinds of attractions, restaurants and supermarkets. However, the bathroom needs some upgrades. It’s not comfy to use because there is no shower curtain to prevent water spread.

This property has a great location and the convenience of in-unit laundry. However, finding the dumpster can be challenging. While the property is generally clean, it could benefit from a deep cleaning, especially in the bathroom, where dust and grime are noticeable.

The location was amazing. Incredibly easy to walk (or take a metro, but we chose to walk) to pretty much everywhere we wanted to be in the city.
Only things I would change: 1) Mattresses weren't the most comfortable. Not horrible, but could be better. 2) More dishwasher detergent (only two tablets were provided). But we had a great time and we would absolutely stay here in the future!

We enjoyed a brilliant stay at the apartments. They are ideally located at the top of the Barri Gotic and very close to Placa de Catalunya. The apartment was perfectly kitted out for our family of 4 and the balcony overlooking the square was a haven for people watching after a long day sightseeing.
It wasn’t noisy at all (the “road” outside is populated by only taxis, bikes and trash collectors) apart from one evening when a new store just below had an opening night and to be honest, we were just sad not to be joining in! I wish them good luck - it looked like a true taste of Barcelona off the tourist track.

Clean, easy to use, ingenious and safe entry system, the only two things of any note I have to say about the whole experience in the apartment is 1) check junk email as lots of my correspondence ended up there even though I added them as a safe sender and 2) they aren’t kidding about the 4pm check in - we arrived at 3.15pm and couldn’t get in, but of course that was to be expected - the lockers downstairs for luggage worked for us even with 3 big bags and we went and got groceries from Carrefour (n.b. we didn’t rely on the lockers on our leaving day as 2 of them were broken when we arrived and we didn’t want to risk it). Trash and recycling can be found if you head left, almost to the Main Street leading to Urquinaona and don’t miss the violin duo often found performing in the Catedral square at night.

Do not hesitate to book your stay here, especially for families.

This place was just ok. They were extremely strict with the 4 pm check in even though the unit was ready. The area outside felt safe enough and was close to a lot of things but it was loud! Even on the 4th floor we could hear yelling and loud noises all night. We could also hear any noise the neighboring units made as well. There are no black out curtains so luckily we could shut the storm shutters for more darkness. The bathroom was older and the ceiling and shower were a bit moldy and some of the lights didn’t work . We were alap giving just one small hand soap for a weeks stay and had to wash our own towels. I asked at one point if someone could take our garbage as the small trash cans were all full but I was told to find a public trash can? I guess this isn’t a hotel so I should not have expected the same service but it would have been nice if they just asked the cleaning crew to grab our trash. The rooftop had a nice view but the “pool” wasn’t exactly that. It was maybe a foot deep and 6 ft by 6 ft wide so it’s not really made for swimming and I’m honestly not sure of its purpose other than to stand in??? Overall it was just ok for me. Having the washer and dryer and fridge was nice while traveling with a child but I don’t think I would stay here again

It was a very average property. For the price I’d have expected a four star hotel equivalent, whereas this property was 2.5 stars at best.
The checkin was at 4 pm but when we entered the apartment the cleaning was still getting done. We got the final room ready at 445 pm.
The rooms are small, sort of expected, but the second room was more of a half room.
The cleanliness was average .. rooms were dusty (even after the cleaning) and had boys of paper here and there.
The bathroom was ok - tidy and clean.

Overall, I would have gotten two independent rooms with two bathrooms in a four star property for slightly lesser price

The apartment was nice and clean. It was in a great location. Lots to do around the apartment and everything is easy to get to by walking.
There is no reception or check in at the hotel. It is done remotely on your own. It is confusing when you first get there. You must make sure you check in remotely before you get there and supply all the information they need.
They require you to upload a photo of each person's passport before you arrive and a tourist tax for each person be paid before they give you access. Check your email frequently as they may email for more information. If they don't have all the required check in information, you will not have access to get into the hotel. You should download all the information before you get to the hotel as it is complicated. You can open the doors with your phone or the key pad, but you need the numbers before you get there or you may be standing outside the door until you have access. They answer the customer service line quickly, but its an annoyoing complication after a long day of travel.

We arrived at 8:30 AM and had to wait outside apartment until 11:00 to store in room while being cleaned. We had some trouble with checking in. Never received the email for pre-check-in as indicated on the confirmation . I sent the company a message in this regard via their website and never got a reply. Expedia virtual agent was also not able to help me.
On the day of arrival, had to call the company agent and was told we needed to do a bunch of online forms before being let in. We were quite tired with our kids so that was a pain in the bum.
Once we got in we were content with the apartment and its amenities. A great option for families with kids. Laundry was great. Had a large fridge, utensils, dishwasher, etc. It was in an excellent area for food/shopping/access to metro etc.
We wished the place was better cleaned before our arrival, especially the floors.
Overall it was a nice option for families and a great location.

Overall experience was good with everything as hoped and expected. We did have a dirty mug in the cupboard and a make-up covered towel left as fresh which made us question everything we used.
Also worth noting is all the lockers for dropping luggage off before checkin were taken when we got there mid morning (obviously by people checking out) and the electric door code activates at 4pm to the second so no chance of checking in early even if ready. Not a negative of the apartment but we would have planned our day differently if we’d have known.

It is absolutely a fantastic place to stay near all the good stuff. No doubt, if you want to take short walks to many incredible things, this is the place.

The hosts were super, as well. We just got off a cruise ship, and they let us check in early, which is a big deal given all our bags and the baby (not patient). They do have lockers, but we travel heavily, and our large bags would not fit in them.

The apartment was spacious, and the internet was fast. When we return next year, we will look at this apartment first.

The hotel is very centrally located at the hearth of Barcelona. The apartment itself is comfortable, clean and efficient with all needed amenities ,washer/dryer, coffee machine . The office of the management of the apartments is next to the building and you can easily communicate with them.
The main disadvantage of the apartment was the noise during the night even with completely closed windows, if you are a light sleeper probably it isn't the place for you.

We had a terrible experience staying here. It took us 45 minutes just to find the property. There is no signage indicating. It was very frustrating walking with luggage around to find. Bathroom was disgusting with stains on the toilet and leaks from roof. Smelly and not clean at all. Bed sheets and covers are moldy smell and was very bad. Bed covers have stains on them. Booked for three nights but checked out after one night as we could not stay there. I would not recommend the property to families.

We were very lucky to find this property during our trip to Barcelona. The location was excellent. All of the shopping and dining that you can want is all walkable. We felt like we were in the middle of the best that Barcelona had to offer. Cristian (I think that was his name) was very friendly and allowed us to check-in early. Since we were coming in from a cruise, we arrived at the apartments at about 10 or 11 am, and Cristian at the front desk accommodated us. The room was very spacious for my family's needs. It had a living room, a table for four for eating, a full kitchen, and two bedrooms. The kitchen had everything that you needed (cups, plates, pots and pans, utensils, microwave, dish soap, even salt and pepper and olive oil). It only had one bathroom, which was our only gripe (since my daughter takes forever in the shower). We felt very safe, given each apartment had its own entry code that you used to enter the apartment building as well as your own apartment. We went up to the pool on the fifth floor, but it was locked when we got there, so we were not able to use it. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone that is staying in Barcelona, and when we return we will surely stay here again.

We loved the apartment. It had all the convinces of our home. It was walking distance to sights, dinning and La Rambla which has everything tourist. There are bicycle for rent just outside the apartment. Great view off our 3rd floor balcony.
The only downside is, it is difficult to get a taxi to your door. The streets are closed often because of pedestrian traffic.
The manager has a good reference for a taxi, ask him.
We would definitly stay here again.

What can i say, we have just spent 5 fabulous days here, from the minute we arrived the staff were famtastic nothimg is too much trouble.
We entered our room. 202
My son had the main living room where the massive sofa turns into a bed i had the one master bedroom the beds were very comfy.
The kitchen area is msssive and is equiped with all you need.
There is a table with 4 chairs
There is a balcony which i luved to enjoy breakfast on its small but thats OK its fabulous to prople watch in the sunshine with a glsss of sangria.
Towels are provided 2 bath 2 hand and a bath mat ask for more when you need them again not a problem. There are also 2 towels for little roof top pool.
The water is boiling at all times which is great, your given a little box with t towel wash up.liq etc cloth and sponge to keep kitchen clean.all great touches.
The apartment is bang in the middle of Barcelona fabulous location. We would highly recommended...... all in all perfect for my son and I and im fussy.....

Teabags are provided but not English tea so if you like a cuppa bring yr own a coffee ma hine is in room.provuded with 2 pods we boight starbucks pods from supermarkets near by.

Our apartment was very clean and in pretty good condition. The couch needed to be replaced but it was ok. Kitchen could have stocked been better. No sharp knives, only very small glasses, no salad bowls.

Great location but it was loud all day and night. People screaming until after 3:40 am. Playground right outside the window.

You can't beat the location of this property. We were in easy walking distance of restaurants, shopping and meeting up for tours. It was fun to explore the area and walk through all the different twists and turns of the Gothic Quarter. Communication for the complex was not great but we got the information we needed. The unit itself is spacious and has all the appliances needed. It's not very cosy and welcoming - more modern and cold - but it was clean and mostly updated. Having the directions for the washing machine in English would have been a huge help. Security was good. Noise in the hallway from neighbors was not good. We had three guys staying opposite us for one night and they were loud and inconsiderate when they came home at 3:00 in the morning. The walls are a bit thin and we could hear them easily. Thankfully they left after one night.

Very nice apartment, great location, excellent facilities. The plunge pool on the roof terrace was a nice touch which our children loved. We had a one bedroom apartment with the children on the pull down sofa bed. This was fine but if we were to book again we’d go with the 2 bedroom apartment. Everything is within easy walking distance and the road the apartment is on is quiet. You are very close to Barcelona Cathedral so you can hear the sound of church bells at night. Whilst it didn’t bother us, if you are a very light sleeper you might want to consider staying somewhere else or earplugs :). All in all a great apartment, centrally located with all the amenities you’d need. We’d definitely use again.

Really love the 2b apartment we booked! The sofa actually turns into a very comfortable queen bed like magic. The kitchen got almost everything we need (pots, utensils, oil, salt, pepper, sugar, tower, paper tower, dish soap, scissors but only a small knife). It's 5 min walk to Catalonia square, 7min walk to the La Boqueria Market ( love it). A lot of shopping and dinning around it. We walked to half of the places we visit. We stayed there for 9 days and they clean up everything on day 4. Really love it and would recommend it to every family.

They advertised twin beds but they were children’s beds. Needs a good clean especially grout in bathroom. Furniture and apartment are tired. For the price it should be freshened up.

The location was fabulous! The apartment served our needs very well; my adult son and I needed our own spaces after full days of exploring the city. Also, the small balcony with a table and 2 chairs was a relaxing way to begin and end each day.

From this location, we could walk out the door and be in the heart of the neighborhood, close to the Metro, near restaurants and shopping, and whatever we needed to venture further, such as the Barca futbol game. Wonderful experience!

We felt safe and welcome. The 'front desk' offered suggestions for sight-seeing and assisted with transportation, as needed, especially to the airport at 4:00 A.M. on our day of departure. Thank you!

Our stay was tremendous!! The location was amazing and near to La Rambla street. The staff were nice especially lady Margarita, who is in reception. She was very friendly and willing to help. The apartment was very clean. The kitchen was fully fitted which comes with everything you could need. Absolutely I’ll come back again.

Brilliant location, central to everything and in a relatively quiet area. Only downside was the bedding, which was two small single beds with a double sheets over them - not great when your over 6 feet tall ! Other than that, could not fault anything. The service at the front desk was also excellent and we received an email with recommendations for restaurants, bars, etc

close to la ramblas street

this property is very close to the famous La Ramblas street and also the main cathedral of barcelona. kitchen was very well equipped. Property was a very small for the amount we paid but we adjusted.

Loved the location, so many things to do in walking distance. Loved having the balcony and rooftop for a coffee in the morning before heading out. My only gripe, and it's a small one, the apartment wasn't serviced the weekend we were there. Otherwise it was very well equipped with washing machine, dishwasher and coffee machine and capsules to get you started.
