Convenient location for metro and walking to restaurants etc but not great for walking back after dark. Disappointed in maintenance of equipment in apartment, especially oven and toaster. No smoke alarm in apartment. Beds comfortable and always lots of hot water. Nice to have doors to open for fresh air, despite view of derelict garden next door.

Porto looks better in a nice apartment

We had a very spacious and clean apartment, the kitchenette was very equipped. We could have breakfast and some meals at our apartment. My kids were happy . The only issue was the air conditioner and the coffeemaker but it doesn't matter when you have a clean a nice apartment close to everything. We had a very nice experience in Porto. Thank you Susana.

Great apartment but service could be better

The apartments are situated in a quieter area of Porto but still very accessible to all of the main sites to see. The apartment was really comfortable, large, well equipped and very clean. The only issue we had was that the access is via a key pad which stopped working during our stay and having contacted the manager and asked for reassurance when this was fixed, we did not receive this. It had been but we didn't know this until we got back to the apartment which was late in the evening and was a concern if it hadn't been fixed.

Comfortable, convenient, spacious apartment

Enjoyed the beautiful apartment and it was fairly close to all of the sites. We walked to everything. The apartment is modern, clean and has a wonderful back porch. It can be a bit noisy when other guests talk loudly in their apartment or in the hall. It was a very comfortable, spacious and pleasant option for our family of four.

Our stay at Oporto Trendy Hotels was excellent. The staff were very helpful (making recommendations, scheduling taxi for early appointments). The service is friendly. The room is beautiful. It looks exactly like the pictures. The apartment is walking distance from the center of the city. The only challenge was the reliability of the WiFI however, that was not a huge issue. I highly recommend staying at the Oporto Trendy Apartments. Everything was perfect. Thank you!!

Lovely apartment in perfect location

Great location close to the river in Porto, there is no reception desk so we were given a code for getting in which suited us as we like to just drop the bags and go. There were quite a lot of steps up to the room so not ideal for those with mobility issues unless you can request a ground floor room. Room itself was spacious and clean.

Highly recommended.

I spent six nights here and I have only positive things to say about my experience. The apartments are just two short blocks from the metro from the airport or main train station, and the same from Rua de Santa Catarina, which is buzzing with people shopping and eating during the day and night. The Ribeira is a pleasant and easy walk away or easily reached by public transport.

The apartments are in a quiet and safe street and have been nicely renovated. They are roomy, very clean, modern, have everything needed and are very comfortable. The wifi is good and reliable.

A warm welcome is assured and appreciated. I hope to return.

Good Four Days

I stayed here with a friend for four nights. We choose it because it had two bedrooms and two bathrooms. The room we had was on the ground floor with access to an outside garden. The main floor was large and included a small kitchen. My bathroom was on the ground floor and my bedroom was one floor higher. The other bedroom had the bathroom in a separate ground floor area. The apartment was close to restaurants and attractions. It worked well for us.

Convenient and spacious

A friend and I stayed there for 3 nights and can’t wait to go again. The apartment is spacious and full of natural light. Everything needed was provided. Hugo and Bruno were gracious hosts and gave us terrific tips on places to dine. The city is bustling and full of life.

Room was well appointed and freshly renovated.
Great location and easy walk to town or cheap taxi ride to other attractions . The location in the small road made us feel like we were actually a Porto resident for a few days. Staff had good English and pointed out the best places for us to see. The proprietors were really quick to respond to our inquiries and more than accommodating when we needed a change at the last moment.

It was a delight to stay in this top floor apartment. There are steep stairs to the apartment but the reward was a quiet, clean and spacious room. It was close to the metro with lots of restaurants all very nearby. A great place to stay for exploring Porto.

Lovely room, great location, fabulous hosts

Loved staying here. Hugo and Bruno gave excellent guidance and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Rooms are clean and modern, though stairs could be a problem for some. Bruno did carry our bags upon arrival and departure, which made it much easier. Nice residential area away from touristy spots but close to metro and easy walk to most places we wanted to go. We will definitely stay again.

Well located for the centre of Porto

We stayed here for four nights while exploring Porto. The apartments are easy to find a short walk from Bolhao metro station. They are on a quiet street but you can still walk to the market or Sao Bento station in 10 minutes or less. The receptionist was friendly and gave us a tour on arrival. We had a studio on the upper floor which was well furnished. It had a small kitchenette with oven and hob and a fridge with ice box. The shower was excellent with very high water pressure. There was free wifi which was very fast and TV. It was a great base to explore Porto as all the main attractions are either a 10-15 walk or easy to get to via public transport.

Clean, quiet, conveniently located

My stay at Oporto Trendy Apartments was great!! The place was very clean and in an excellent location. Our room had a wonderful view from the backside of the building. The room includes a kitchen with everything you could need including an oven! From Lisbon, we took the train to Campanha station and a taxi to the hotel. We were also able to utilize Uber while in Porto but otherwise there are many things to visit from 10-20 min on foot. The hotel will ask you when you will arrive and someone will be there to get you checked in. The cleaning staff was kind enough check to see if we could leave our bags for the day and come back for them in the evening and there were no problems, someone was waiting there upon our arrival. One thing to note though is that there is no elevator. We stayed on the (North American) 3rd floor and this just the start of our trip so our bags were pretty light but it was pretty difficult hauling our stuff up and down. Wifi was strong though we needed to rest the router in our room a few times. At night the street is very quiet but lit so I felt quite safe getting home. This was the hands down the cleanest places I stayed in Portugal and like other reviewers mentioned, I also wish I stayed at least a day longer. So do yourself a favor and add a day to your stay in Porto and enjoy this wonderful room!

We loved staying in the \"Foz do Douro\" apartment. It was modern, bright and super clean. The location was awesom -- full of character and close to cafes, pastry shops and restaurants. And just a few minutes walking distance from the centre of Oporto. The staff at OTA were amazing! Thank you, Hugo, for your professionalism, pleasant manner and attention. Obrigado!

Nice apartment in Porto!

Great location and easy check in. Apartment is new, clean and nicely decorated. Location is central to major shopping and restaurant districts. My only real complaint is that we had the lower level apartment which was lovely, but we could hear everything above us. There is not good soundproofing from above. If you are a light sleeper or noise bothers you, I would suggest you ask for one of the other apartments that are not on the lower levels.

Modern apartment great base to explore Porto

Great base for 4-night stay in Porto. Staff were there on our arrival and very helpful. We had the studio on the first level facing the street which was modern and well equipped. The street is narrow so neighbours across the way are pretty close, but it is not a busy street so we didn't notice much noise. It is a 5 minute walk from Bolhao metro which makes access to the rail network easy as on same line as Porto Campanha and airport. Staff very helpfully arranged 3am airport transfer for E$25, excellent service. Overall it seemed to be an great location to explore Porto for both sightseeing and facilities. Facilities: Bolhao Mercado (fruit, veges, bread, port, meats, cheese, souvenirs); supermarket Pingo Doce under Ibis hotel, Passos Manual near the Coliseu theatre; modern shopping centre La Vie Baixa with laundromat on first floor near metro exit on Rua de Fernandes Tomas. Note many shops shut on Sundays. For sightseeing, the tourist info next to Cathedral has a good tourist map. S. Francisco church was impressive but sadly no photos allowed. Ferreira port cave did good tour for E$10 each (no need to upgrade to premium version of tour unless you are a port connoisseur). Douro river boats only run in summer (March-Oct). To visit Douro would recommend Porto Excellence Tours, small group tour we did ~E$100 pp full day including two wineries, lunch and short cruise.

Spacious, great value apt

Stayed in Foz de Douro room. Room was spacious. It was basically a loft with an area outside that you could spend in the private garden. Could easily sleep six, two in each of the two bedrooms and two outside on th sofa. Washer is outside in a small room in the garden. Some minor issues that are important to note: rooms are not handicap accessible. We were in the room on the lowest floor and there were still roughly 10 stairs up to the entry and ten stairs down to the main part of the room with the 2 bathrooms and sitting area. The loft bedroom is too short for anybody above 5'10\" as that is my height and I was slouching while still touching the ceiling. Finally, the floors were a bit thin. Could easily hear people walking above us. Don't get me wrong, it was still a nice, spacious, and relaxing stay.

Lovely Porto Apartment

We booked the apartment (Sao Nicolau) from Hotels.com. Everything was exactly the same as what it's shown in the pictures - LOVELY! The apartment is located on the 2nd floor with a small balcony looking over the little garden.

Location - The apartment is about 2 blocks away from the Bolhao metro station and nearby many good restaurants. There is the Bolhao Market which is near the metro station where you can get gifts/fresh produce from. There are also supermarkets nearby for water and groceries. You can easily take metro/bus/walk to most of the Porto attractions.

Check-in/check-out - Hugo was standing right outside the building when we arrived. He is very knowledgeable about where to visit. We basically threw our guidebook aside and followed the map he wrote on during our visit.

Room - The room was nice, clean, and with cute decor. It provides all the amenities you need in an apartment.

Noise level - The neighborhood is pretty quite at night. However, because it's all wood floor, we could hear footsteps from upstairs and especially when they dragged the chairs. I would recommend putting area rugs where the table/chairs are to absorb the noise.

Overall - Love the apartment and would return and stay next time we visit.

Hugo is an amazing host: I contacted him to say that I was running late and he provided guidance to access the apartment by myself. Not only that, he showed up later to help with the parking and to give us excellent tips for our trip and detailed explanation of what to do in the city. Thanks to his hints we were able to visit all that the city has to offer in one and a half day. Highly recommend!

Pristine apartment in quiet neighbourhood but just 20 minutes walk to the old city. The owner, Hugo, was very friendly and spent time with us on arrival to circle all the main attractions on a city map which he provided. We booked a combined bus tour/boat cruise/wine lodge visit with him for a very reasonable €19. He also arranged car parking just across the street for €8 a day.

Het kantoor was redelijk makkelijk te vinden. Het meisje van het kantoor erg aardig, ze liep met ons naar een garage waar we de auto konden parkeren. Leek erg krap maar ging net.
Bij het inschrijven kregen we een kaart van Porto met allerlei tips erop wat we moesten gaan zien en konden bezichtigen.
Het appartement was prachtig, schoon, wel gehorig als je boven buren had.
Makkelijk te openen met een code, zowel op de kamerdeur als huisdeur.
Een stoel met kapotte poot werd omgeruild en een theedoek die ontbrak werd gebracht.
Alles binnen loopafstand van het appartement.
Wij hebben genoten!

Desbloqueio da porta não funcionou

Studio lindo e limpo, porém tive problemas com a senha de acesso p entrar, pois a mesma resolveu não desbloquear a entrada as 23:30 da noite, passamos mais de uma hora do lado de fora no frio. Sugiro que deem uma chave a cada hóspede p evitar esse problema, pois digitalizações pode dar pane, que foi o caso.

숙소도 깨끗하고 식기나 침구 청소상태 모두 훌륭했다. 교통편도 편리하고 볼량시장도 가까워 지내는데 대만족!
특히 가족동반의경우 추천해주고 싶은 숙소다.
직원분들도 매우 친절했다.
출퇴근을 하시는지 우리가 아침에 나갈때와 들어올때 카운터 문이 닫힌 경우가 많았다.
에피소드 하나 : 세탁기가 teka인데 사용법을 몰라 애를 먹었다. 세탁물이 잠겨있어 꺼내지 못하고 전전긍긍. 미리 사용법과 인버터 사용법도 카운터에 문의하시고 사용하시길..
좋은 도시에서 좋은 구경 잘하고 잘 쉬다 갑니다.

nettes Apartment, unangenehmer Geruch

Schönes Haus mit netten Apartments. Check-In verlief per E-Mail, in der wir den Code für die Tür genannt bekommen haben.
Das Apartment war an sich sauber. Im Bad waren leider diverse Schimmelflecken in den Fugen und der Duschkopfhalter war sehr locker.
Am meisten gestört hat ein echt unangenehmer Geruch, der vermutlich aus der Klimaanlage oder den Abflüssen kam.

Vi havde svært ved at komme i kontakt med udlejer og stod og venter 1 time på han kom. Vi boede i lejeligheden med have. Der stå der er 2 soveværelser men der er et og en hems. Men skal ikke være for høj til hemsen. Der er ikke vindue i sove værelset.I Have holdte der katte til de gik ikke ind, da vi var meget opmærksom på dem, og jeg ikke bryder mig om katte. Havemøblerne, der var en stol i stykke og bordet var det gået noget af. Der var rent og pænt. Det lå centralt i forhold til byen, indkøbsmuligheder, offentlig transport. Jeg vil ikke bo der igen, men det handler om at jeg ikke er glad for katte.
