I would not recommend this place for family stay or weekend if you want t have a restful night. We were assigned two rooms across from the pool which is right outside the door. That evening there were several men drinking and listening to music, very loud. We called the front desk about the loud music, and we were told that there is nothing they can do. The next morning at checkout, I talked to the manage about the loud music and their inactions to resolve the issue. He informed me that the guys drinking and listening to loud music were workers that were staying at the hotel and that that was the only day they can relax because they work all week, Not the answer I expected.

My wife and I needed to travel to Port Isabel unexpectedly for a funeral. We needed an inexpensive place to stay and the Casa Rosa provided that. The manager was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean but smelled musty. The air conditioner kept the room cool but could not pull the moisture out of the air. If they could get rid of the musty smell and the mugginess, I would give the motel a higher rating.

The room was in disrepair, faucets, light fixtures, there was lots of mold issues, roaches, and the room was very humid. Had to wear shower shoes in the shower, tub was peeling, shower curtain was moldy. Ironing board was rusty, and old. Bedding, pillows, and towels were old and dingy. Tiny packets of shampoo, conditioner and soap. Pictures of the property are very deceiving and inaccurate.

I do think all hotels and motels should have a chain or privacy lock for extra peace of mind, especially when the doors are open to the outside. But aside from that I have zero complaints. The staff was helpful and check-in was easy. We would stay here again.

I liked the fact that they were able to accommodate an early check-in but the room was not well taken care of. When we walked in the room, it smelled strongly of cleaning materials. A wall plug was missing a face plate. The air conditioning was missing a piece on the front covering the grate and was held together by masking tape. The pool was right next to the parking lot and within vision as well as ear shot of a very busy road. The phone in the room to call the front desk didn’t work. We received only two pillows on each bed. The ceiling fan and light were controlled by short strings that I had to stand on the bed to control, I am 6’2” so this was a first for me. Lastly, there was nothing in reasonable walking distance because the crosswalks were so far away.

This is my third stay in five years at this motel. The last visit was markedly different. The overall cleanliness and sanitation were markedly decreased. The front desk staff was not available when needed. Most disturbing was that over my stay I noted a severe bed bug infestation. The front desk had such limited hours I could report it to the establishment.

This is my second review on the property and first one was after 3 days and this is about 2 weeks in, The room was clean when I first arrived but I did not get any cleanings over my 2 week stay but that is acceptable Since I try to keep my rooms clean myself, the property is in good condition and looks to be recently renovated it is in a good location with food within walking distance my only gripe with the property is the owner confused me with one of my coworkers and came of extremely standoff-ish and started a conversation with \"you are not getting your money back under any circumstances\" and that kinda attitude is not one I like or tolerate. All in all I would reccomend this place for a 3-5 day stay and not something long term due to the nature of the owner he is not someone I would like to my landlord.

My wife and I usually choose to stay in motels that are in the 2 to 3 star range because they are generally good quality for the price we are willing to pay. Casa Rosa is the cleanest and best maintained 2-star motel we have ever had the pleasure of staying at. We would have rated it way better than 2 stars. It's a real gem!

It was good for a night sleep. Got there checked in to sleep woke up took a shower and gone. I booked the room for a deep sea fishing trip minutes away. The lady up front that I believe was part of management at about 11pm was really friendly and helped me with anything i needed extra. Definitely booking here again.

The room was bigger (more spacious) than i expected. The king size bed was SUPER comfortable. The only issue i found was the bathroom was a little stinky but i sprayed some body spray in it & no big deal. Front desk guy was super nice, easy to talk to, welcoming & informative. The stay was fine, it’s a budget motel, but I left a sweater behind, I called staff said they would call back no call, I stayed again a few weeks later asked about the sweater, kept getting the run around that cleaning staff were not available, couldn’t get a hold of them, etc etc, I received conflicting information yes im they had but it was locked in a room etc etc, needless to say there was little effort to address my issue.

Booked a room that said up to six people and we had two adults and three kids but was not given extra pillows or blankets for the sofa bed. Only given four towels and one wash cloth. Was told by the cleaning lady I would have to call the front desk for more towels. Had to walk all the way to front desk to be given four towels and she gave me four hand towels not wash cloths which i did not notice till i was back in my room. But staff was great and friendly and the room was very clean and nice. I will think about using them again in the future just because of service that was great.

It’s worth about $50 a night. Everyone was very nice but room was gross. Sticky floors damaged furniture. Bed was gross. It is what it is and you get what you pay for but they could at least clean your room daily and supply you with enough towels and washcloths. If you want more than two towels and one washcloth you have to go to the front desk to ask. You also have to exchange your used towels to get new ones. Not a huge deal just kind of annoying. Front desk was super nice and location was great. 5 minutes away from SPI and close to Walmart. Not mad about it. But No way I would stay here again though.

Didn’t like that towels were a little damp on the first day, asked for towel for bathroom floor and was told they don’t provide that but gave me a couple of rags to put on floor. Also washcloth rack in tub was missing and I usually use that to balance myself or hold on to so I won’t slip or fall in bathtub. Overall it was ok for the price of room. Staff was friendly.

Unlike the advertisement there is no breakfast, and the swimming pool was so cold it was not ussble. Also, very noisy after quite time. Dog barking and winning, people talking loud at tables by our room, and some kind of banging from 12am to 1:30am which made it very hard to sleep during our three night stay.
