We just needed a place to sleep. Thankfully the highway noise that could be heard in our room acted as white noise. It was clean, easy to access, and comfortable. However, you get what you pay for at a Motel 6.

There is no small ice box in the room they give you literally 2 sheets to sleep with so you have to turn ac way up or freeze so cant be comfortable.The bath tub wouldn't plug so had to cover it with a towel to take a bath. Staff was friendly but I had asked for 2 rooms both not wheelchair rooms so they had baths and made reservations almost a week before and they gave one of our rooms away leaving us way away from each other and one in a room with a shower and smelling the smoke from the room beside us all night and none of us smoke.

How can a hotel not have blankets and only provide a sheet? This is absurd. We are paying for a place to sleep comfortably. There is no fridge or microwave unless you get a full kitchen unit. I stayed here for 4 days. When you stay for more than one day they only clean the room once a week. Terrible. Do not stay here. They do not deserve your money

I came to Houston very last min due to a family emergency and needed a place to stay close to the hospital I was visiting. I booked online so I hadn’t seen actual location. Indeed it was very close, so I that was a plus. However, I was totally disappointed. The motel is right off the freeway so it’s very loud and you can hear the cars zooming by in the room. This location is pretty run down. I can tell they’ve made some upgrades but very poorly done. The room smelled of smoke and the beds had no blankets. It was a cold night and thank goodness the heater worked because the beds only had a sheet and thin bed spread over them, no blanket! Needless to say, I wont be staying here again.

The room had cockroaches and a lot of humidity, couldn’t stay there and had to check out early. I talk to the person in charge and assured me they will give me a refund and once the refund was ask they stop answering calls and denied the manager was never there.

Let’s be honest, it’s Motel 6, so I wasn’t expecting much. However, the place was disgusting. The entire motel reeked of marijuana and mildew. We were there for the Rodeo cookoff. I could not bring myself to sleep there, so we checked out at 8:30 p.m. and went home. I didn’t even bother asking for a refund.

If you’ve ever seen the Movie New Jack City not far from any scene off that movie!! Pics not even the same for the rooms that are actually the room!! Place is sketchy dirty smells like mold in the room roach infested!! Save your money and time and go anywhere else! Staff is helpful but other than that was there less than 10 mins and just left to another hotel.

After all these years of renting a room here, this year was the worst, there was no wifi, tv barely worked and to top it off the cannibis and cigarette smell was horrible. Also we never got housekeeping. Toilet wasnt probably functioning bc everytime we flushed water came up from under the flloor. Honestly i dont recommend if its for long stay.

No WiFi No Cable TV - Busy Area for prostitution

Room was clean, cordial staff, hotel provided pet clean up bags in area for walking dog but obviously many pet owners were not using / appreciative of such a nice amenity. Hotel needs to change sign on gate that presently is noted as entrance for that gate doesn’t open & customers have to figure out how to get to the actual entrance, which is quite a drive. In our case a prostitute sitting on the curb outside the non operating entrance gate told us how to access the actual entrance. The hotel is in area where there’s a lot of prostitution street business taking place. I had a confrontation from a woman in a car on the property (doubtful she had room) that I needed to give her my dog. She was extremely agitated and loud, she nor the two children in her car were not wearing seatbelts. Thankful she left when I mentioned their seatbelt situation. There’s many cars that drive thru parking lot, make certain to keep your vehicle locked.
The hotel wify and cable tv was not available due to Dish Network not having parts available to correct the problem. Hotel room phones didn’t work. Without WiFi I am left asking how was the hotel able to access the hotel computer to make reservations & check in customers. I know they don’t answer the hotel phone for we tried several times to call hotel when we were unable to access the property.

Photos are not current. The area is so unsafe it is surrounded in a thick fence that doesn't close at the entrance. An armed police officer is literally stationed in the What-a-burger across the street. Bathroom door had been kicked in so the door didn't close. Some rooms had plywood boarded up windows.

The pictures online are nothing compared to the actual room. I was shocked. The NRG stadium is not 2 minutes away… there was no iron, no microwave and no mini fridge in the room. I am not sure why I am the one who reserved the room and it was my credit card why every guest staying with you in the room had to provide ID too

The tile in shower had hair on walls. It was a leak in the bathroom area. I went to office and speak with gentleman he said okay. No one came to check it out I kept towels on floor so I don’t step in water. I will never stay again or refer anyone.

I was taking my 12 year old and 16 year old to go see Metallica and Pantera. Show was great!!
Motel 6 called me 48 hours before my reservation and had to cancel my reservation. They said there was a storm and their electricity was out.
That sucks. I know they couldn't do anything about it, but it sucks trying to get a new room that was $300 plus I had to pay $60 for parking.
I chose that shirt motel 6 to stay at because it was $75 and we could walk to the stadium. So it just really screwed the whole thing up.

The reviews were spot on but no roaches. Came in for a two night stay, VRBO reservation cancelled so this was the only option for our stay for Morgan Wallen @ NRG. Not too dirty but I definitely didn’t trust the floor or the beds so I brought my own bedding and cleaning supplies. The exterior was horrendous and the pool area actually looked scary, the cat lounging on the table looked to be enjoying his life though. It was perfect from a location perspective to NRG. Definitely a rough area but if I NEEDED to I guess I’d stay here again…but not without my cleaning supplies.

Oh and someone had taken down the smoke detector and it definitely smelled like smoke. The location was not great, but again, it was reasonable for the price.

The rooms have been renovated which gives you the impression that the room is clean. My room floor looked clean but I dropped a towel on it and it was black when I picked it up. Discovered that whole floor was the same, I turned A/C down in room to find that it actually smelled like that of sewage, as if the toilet flooded and they didn't clean it. Looks good on the inside but not outside. I sat in my vehicle to escape the smell until I left. I had to find some place else to stay, also people were beating on the walls and ceiling for some reason.

This property is in horrible condition. We didn’t receive the room we booked. We booked a king but got a room with 2 queens, the room was filthy, and there was loud cars roaring all night. Plus there was roaches in the bathroom. They also don’t do towel service.

I was honestly nervous for my vehicle all night, nothing happened but the area wasnt that nice and random people walked the area all night. The sheets on our bed were still damp, we asked for a dry blanket and the staff did provide us with one. Id honestly have to be desperate to stay here again
