The people, reception and house keeping, were charismatic and kind. The elevator failed for a couple of hours but it was fixed in a couple of hours. The location is phenomenal and some rooms have balconies!!!

The room was sufficient, but a bit small. The lift worked but was very small—only 1 person at a time. The location was excellent, in the middle of everything and very walkable. It would have been nice to have ice available, but the 24 hour pizza stop just down the street is happy to sell some. Our remote control for the tv needed new batteries and the room safe was locked in the open position. It took over 4 hours for someone to come and fix it. They were kind and responsive, but took longer than I expected.

Everyone was very helpful. The building elevator was being replaced and we had to climb the 3 floors every time we had to go to the room, it should have been notified before arrival as not everyone has the stamina or is healthy enough to do so and could have made other arrangements

The location was very closed to several main attractions/touristic places. Tons of shops, restaurants and just a few steps from Sol metro station. Our room was kind of small for our family of 5 (specially with a toddler) but we were out most of the time. The room had a small fridge, air conditioner, WiFi and Netflix (which we used often so the kids can continue watching their movies). The staff were very attentive and super helpful at the check in time. They communicated with me prior to the arrival through WhatsApp and gave me all the instructions. The rooms are located on the 3rd and 4th floor and there is an elevator but only one person can go up at a time. By the time we checked out they were doing some remodeling of the elevator doors so maybe it will look different now. The cleaning staff comes everyday unless you have your do not disturb sign. Overall we did had a good time and would love to be back. Thanks

This was a great setup for me as a solo traveler. The room was modern, clean and just the right size for me. It was a little hard to find the hotel, but I figured it out! The elevator was broken during my stay, so it was tiring to walk up and down 3-4 flights, but I managed. The hotel is literally in the center of Madrid so you have easy access to almost everything via the metro or walking. You do have to walk a little ways to get a taxi, but it’s not too bad!

A little bit of a walk to get to with baggage, but well worth the effort. The area was perfect for exploring and plenty of great food around. The room was small but had everything I needed, and the bathroom was incredible. Would stay here again. The staff was friendly and sweet.

The room was lovely, big and well maintained. The location was superb. The staff was extremely responsive and helpful. The only problem was the entrance to the building and the walk up was all dated and not very appealing. There are rickety wood stairs and an elevator that only holds one person. They should do more to renovate the entrance and the stairway up to the property.

The bathroom is extremely SMALL. It’s is not the standard side for any hotel. Nor it’s for any North American clients. It can’t feet an average person. You should mention that in the property description. Plus post the whole size photo of the bathroom and moreover, indicate that your elivator is for 1 person ! And the accrual size of it. Because this was a wow shock for us using the 4th floor with our loggers it was not easy !

We arrived by train and then took the metro to Sol Station. The metro stop is very close to the hotel. However when we got there, we discovered a very tiny elevator that wasn't working. We contacted someone via WhatsApp and she stated tgat the elevator gets stuck on the 5th floor very frequently. So my poor boyfriend had to haul himself up 5 flights of stairs to close the elevator door so it would come down for us. It was almost 100° and we were exhausted from our travels. So this wasn't the best welcome. Once the elevator came down only 1 person was allowed in. So my boyfriend had to walk back up to the 3rd floor. Once on the 3rd floor, we were able to use the code to get into our room. That was quick and easy. The room looked as described and pictured. The floors were dirty though...so the room hadn't been thoroughly cleaned. But the AC worked very well and the shower was nice. One other thing to mention is that there was no blanket. The first night we slept with just a sheet. In the morning I asked about a blanket and they said it was stired under the bed. So that was a little odd. Overall, the staff was friendly and the hotel was very centrally located...just be prepared to walk up and down a lot of stairs if you stay here.

Location location location!!! So close to metro and plaza central! Big plus! The tiny window patio was fun to look out over the plaza. Fun pics!
Negatively- late night events and outdoor music events made for noisy outside and hard to sleep some nights.
My kids did not like that we had to go through their bedroom to get to the bathroom when they wanted to sleep and we got up first, but we dealt with it.
Elevator was crazy slow! Only used it to bring luggage up to fourth floor and down. Otherwise we always used the stairs.

The property was clean, simple, and really nice. The staff were very helpful and nice. The location was excellent with access to everything you can possibly imagine. Public transit was right in the front and many places were walkable. I read a lot of complaints about the elevator, but it was a non-issue for us. Yes, it’s small and can only fit two people at a time, but I would not consider this a problem at all unless you travel with really big suitcases (we don’t). The location and staff more than made up for any other issues. I would stay here again without hesitation. Highly recommended property in the heart of everything.

Misleading Hotel & Poor Customer Support

This hotel is not suitable for families with young children and does not match its advertised services. They claim 24/7 support, but reception closes at midnight, which I was only informed of after booking. Their online check-in never worked, wasting time before arrival.

The elevator is too small for a stroller, making access inconvenient for anyone with a baby. Since the hotel is on the fourth floor of a walk-up, luggage and strollers must be sent up separately while someone walks up to retrieve them—something they never disclose upfront.

The room is much smaller than advertised, barely fitting standard family luggage. Despite not offering a crib, they expect guests traveling with an infant to manage in an impractically small space.

The room is not functional:

The fridge barely cools, making it unreliable for storing anything, especially baby food or milk.

Only one electrical outlet is accessible, which became blocked when setting up a playpen.

The closet doesn’t fully open due to the AC unit.

The stroller could only fit at an angle, blocking bathroom access.

We had to store the desk chair in the shower for space.

Customer service was unhelpful, sticking to a script rather than problem-solving. If you need accessibility, support, or a family-friendly setup, avoid this hotel.

Desde luego muy muy bien ubicado. A menos de un minuto del metro de Sol .

Cerca de tiendas de conveniencia, restaurantes, comida etc.

La única pega que yo podría tener era que después de ducharnos, el baño queda mojado, y no puedes entrar con calcetines. Dado que la ducha no tiene mampara es completamente abierto.

The hotel was in a prime location for the heart of the city, 2 minute walk from Sol metro station or 5 minutes to a taxi rank. The room was spacious, very clean great view of the square. It was very quiet being three floors up no street noise. A kettle in the room with tea, coffee and a fridge...is always perfect for me! Staff very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable.
The only downside was the wet room, brilliant powerful shower, clean and modern but the water went everywhere and flooded the whole of the bathroom floor, maybe a design fault but we had to use all the towels to mop it up. We did let reception know about this at the time too.

The hotel takes a couple of upper floors in a residential building in the center of Madrid.
Inside it’s modern, very clean and comfortable boutique hotel with very modern bathrooms and comfortable bedrooms. But once you step out and cross from the hotel and into the stairs you are in the old decrepit building with a ridiculous old elevator that hardly fits 2 people and if you have luggage it becomes almost impossible to fit. The area around is touristy, noisy and not very clean, but is conveniently located.

Can't pick a better location! We stayed during the National Day of Spain, and the daily free concerts/shows were right around the corner, with Flamenco shows, folk and rock bands, wow. But once inside, it's very quiet. We walked everywhere. The bedroom is small as common in this area, but the bed is very comfortable. Loved the spacious bathroom. There is also a safe, a small fridge, and kettle for hot water! We made tea every day! It's entirely updated, although in an old building with an old elevator. Very charming. All the girls at the front desk (usually staffed from 8am till midnight) that we met were friendly, super helpful. We borrowed their bottle opener to enjoy some local wine in our room. Just perfect!

The room was great - good bed and shower and very quiet with the balcony doors closed. Outstanding location just off Plaza del Sol. Hotel occupies 3rd and 4th floor of a multi tenant building which is kind of unusual and the elevator is 8 square feet (2 people & 2 bags cannot fit into it). No free coffee (€1 and you have to pay with your phone using a QR code) but many coffee options nearby. All in all a good place to stay.
