The standout element of our stay at Vila Vita was the sense of community, every person that works there has a sense of care and pride in what they do, going the extra mile for all residents and has a family feel. The place is stunning, completely self contained so no need to leave if not wanting to and clean, well maintained, all needs catered for. 50% of residents are returning and we will be in that list in future.

It was a great stay. The staff is very friendly and professional, breakfast is first class (and they were very accommodating my wife's dietary restrictions) Dinner at Aladin Grill was one to remember.
We enjoyed the walks and hikes, yes we needed a car to go to some places, but was everything within one hour of driving.

Room and hotel facilities were all excellent, clean and well maintained. Food was also great. Staff was very friendly and went out of their way to meet your needs. Overall a great experience. Only downside is I came in early November and they were not staffing the lounge area at the beach club - the restaurants were open, but you could not lounge by the beach. I wish they had let me know that when I booked.

regular visitors 2x year -good to see friendly faces all over property -bars restaurants pools etc we like because do not need car with choice of dining options on site plus beach venues via friendly shuttle service .we dined at Adega twice in our week and were a bit disappointed by food and slow service-night 1 tempura green beans were poor -batter very thick -but clams and chicken were good -night 2 roasted mushrooms were tepid on service ?symptom of service issues -we noticed young couple leaving before being served after long wait ! I had sucklng pig special -very disappointing -skin far from crispy but more seriously very carelessly butchered -in number of largish pieces but quite a number of small pieces of bone -not a problem for me but offputting and dangerous for some -choking?Biggest issue is very slow service -its busy but seems to have decent number of staff but some seem to have very restricted tasks so less value than normal staff might be .we have mentioned before but doesn't seem to improve -maybe need more hands on overseer !
Arte Natica is delight -friendly longstanding staff -maitre d'a real pleasure -good wine pricing -Alloo vinho verde 27e bottle against cheapest entry level in other places of vila vita special 35e-excellent couvert -tuna pate pickled carrots good oil and bread -oysters very good and stuffed crab shell terrific while good chicken .
Praia Dourada -Alloo wine on list @27e john dory goujons and red beef curry and great rice -

Honestly, everything was so fabulous, hard to complain. Check in was a little rocky with being promised a room and then told we had to wait 2 hours. They also failed to acknowledge our anniversary. Would have been 10/10 if weren’t for those 2 things!

The position on the cliff tops is excellent, the views are spectacular! The choice of dining is good. Breakfast is excellent. The private beach and clifftop walk are highly recommended. We enjoyed the crazy golf, 18 holes which is included in the stay. It was a little hot for Padel or Tennis so maybe we would do this next time in cooler months. The staff are very welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful and kind. It is quiet and relaxing and the plenty of space for everyone. We had a lovely room in the main hotel overlooking beautifully manicured gardens with the ocean in the distance. It’s nice to walk around the resort and admire the gardens.

Vila Vita Parc exceeded our expectations. We traveled with our two kids and had an incredible experience from start to finish. The food was exceptional, our room was spacious and comfortable, and the service was top-notch. There was so much to do on the property. Our kids especially loved the morning kids club, which gave my wife and me the perfect window to enjoy a workout together. Highly recommend for families!

A beautiful setting in central Algarve. The dining, the pools all the facilities here are lovely. Service is attentive, friendly and welcoming. Food was exceptional and the restaurants are diverse and well decorated.
Villa Vita Parc was an indulgent, gorgeous respite in between our fast paced Portugal city visits.

The Vila Vita Parc hotel is a beautiful property with gorgeous common areas, pools, and restaurants. The staff is excellent and seem genuinely happy to work there and provide service to the guests. The only drawback with Vila Vita is that the rooms are in need of updating. The AC in our room did not work properly and the decor was pretty dated. We stayed in a roof top terrace suite and given the nightly rate, I would have expected the room to have been in better condition.

Let down by check in/out experience and lack of available activities. Made a Sameday booking, told hotel in advance before started drive that would be arriving around 4.30pm (after the 2pm advertiser checkin time). Lots of gaffing around at reveption- eventually told room wouldn’t be ready for over another hour. Asked for them to book a facial for my heavily pregnant, agreed a time with spa. Toldpartner. Then was told actually no availability at that time or during stay. Had to give her the bad news… only way of getting a room immediately (heavily pregnant partner had been in car for day) was as to pay for an upgrade- they didn’t offer to comp or discount. Tried to book tennis lesson, yoga etc. No availability for any during stay. Room, grounds, pool, beach etc all beautiful. Porters all great. Then comes checkout:.. again waiting around for 20 min while they prioritize guests checking in (well before 3pm checkin time), insist that need to be there to give a credit card because by Portuguese law can’t use the card we gave at reception (while the other 6 hotels on our Portuguese roadtrip could???) and then when asked for a postal stamp had to go to kids shop on other side of grounds, didn’t offer to send someone. The first and last experience really let this place down. If you can plan out all your activities before you arrive and get around the reception experience. Oh yeah- we (I) didn’t get the hotels.com platinum free bottle of wine either.

Nice hotel. Very big on a huge property. But the room design is a bit outdated. But very good maintained and comfortable.
We had a huge room (actually apartment) but it is located outside of the resort. And waiting for the clubcar for everything was a bit of a hassle.
Breakfast was great and the service attentive and helpful. Nice kids club, and in generally very thoughtful for children.

We are regulars 2x year spring autumn and as usual we got a warm welcome from friendly professional staff -really nice room excellent view over pool and property generally uninterrupted as far as sea !sunny balcony from quite early in morning until afternoon -Atlantico breakfast buffet again outstanding and very well managed leading to efficient sevice .
We had dinner in Adega -x2-Whale -Arte Nautica and Praia Dourada all of which were excellent in different ways -only disappointment was Giardino (sp?) where we found service a bit chaotic -lots of people but not many doing much !Menu is actually quite limited -I had excellent vitello tonnato and pasta amatriciana -but very slow -which seemed to be a common experience from where we were sitting -my wife was disappointed in her pizza margarita -quite thick crust but not really crispy -which was odd as she had excellent pizza from Whale earlier in the week -as food seems to come out of same kitchen difficult to understand !

We used Garden Terrace for lunch -Rita was excellent -she managed to get Falaffel salad reinstated for my wife after it had been removed in menu changes from last few times !She is a gem !
We also had lunch a number of times on Terrace -its a familiar team now and very reliable for both food and service -Sam and his colleagues continue to provide an oustanding experience for both pre post dinnner drinks

Finally the hotel did a great job in managing the power outage that occurred -thoroughly professional !

The service is exceptional, the staff are wonderful and food is fabulous. I would advise booking restraints for dinner via their website in advance of arriving to avoid not being able to get a table. I would especially recommend the Japanese restaurant. We also went to the Sisley spa and had a yoga class and sound bath which was very special. This hotel is 5* in everything. Even though it's child friendly it still feels quiet and adult only. So there is something for families and also adults. I was a solo traveler and felt safe and comfortable.

this is a great place to stay -terrific campus with all sorts of sport tennis padel par 3 golf nice walks access to beach excellent pools etc as well as a good number of varied bars /restaurants -so its pretty self contained no need to hire a car -get airport pickup and shuttle to beach restaurants operated as part of hotel -everything of very high quality and staffed by really professional friendly people who appear to stay working here so you fell you develope a relationship with them if like us you come 2 per year -Arte Nautica /Whale /praia dourada Adega all excellet to dine and Oasis terrace bar has some great bar staff

'outside Resort' rooms are large and we'll equiped

The 'Outside Resort' rooms are large with great facilities but they require a lot of walking to/from. We had an excellent espresso machine and the bathroom was also large. The resort adults only pool is beautiful with lots of seating with wonderful views. Food at the resort is expensive.

Wonderful stay with beautiful views, and incredible hospitality. It was incredibly well maintained with every amenity you can imagine. The breakfast is probably the best I’ve had in any 5 star hotel, anywhere (and we travel a fair amount). My husband and I were traveling for our 30th wedding anniversary, so I wanted to make sure we had the nicest room available. There are only a few things that keep me from giving this the full 5 stars. Our flight was very delayed and we got in very late—as such, even though we got an Oasis suite, our view wasn’t what I was hoping for. I suppose because we got in so late, this could not be helped. We did awaken the next morning to a lot of furniture being moved in the room close to ours. I had to call 3 times to ask the reception about it. Also, the restaurants at the resort (for dinner) seem to be lacking creative vegetarian options for the high price point. Despite these minor minor issues, I’d go back again in a heartbeat. This is a world class resort!

Fabulous location, quiet, stunning views, excellent rooms, lots to do (although do not agree with surcharges for racket hire and golf pitch and putt hire - not the case in other LHW) and brilliant breakfast! Would have given it 5* however, there was a distinct lack of restaurant choice! This seems silly considering they allege there are 12, but they are not all open everyday and it appears you need to book weeks in advance! Not once, in an email before, at reception nor from the team who showed us to our room did anyone say you need to ensure you book quickly. I tried to book one we had been recommended - only 1 restaurant had availability! I was rather confused and this was the case for our whole stay! Went to concierge to be told you need to book weeks in advance! I have never been anywhere where this is the case! After 20 minutes we eventually had bookings for each night but were far from impressed by the choice, menus or reviews! We weren’t trying to dine in their 2* restaurant! However, if we had been there was no chance of a table. This experience is in great contrast to that of other LHW where they bend over backwards to get you reservations. Managed to get a table at 2* AF in Gleneagles which is normally booked 6 months in advance the day before! We ended up cancelling the majority of our reservations and ate in Porches old town! Was fab! Ate once in hotel - Adega - disappointing! Hotel also need to improve their breakfast Maitre’Ds manners in Atlantico!

Absolutely wonderful! The breakfast staff that worked from 5/18-5/21 were fantastic. They were so welcoming and relaxing. Definitely 5 star plus. We stayed in a suite with the rooftop. Loved the room. House keeping kept our room tidy and stocked with water.

When I was leaving someone from the front desk handed me a box of chocolates for my birthday as a gift. I never mentioned it was my birthday to anyone during my stay. Just a lovely stay all around. Can’t wait to visit again next year.

A wonderful stay for R&R or activities!

We had a lovely stay in Vila Vita, the room was one of the best we’ve stayed in and the breakfast was superb - great buffet options and food made to order.

There are plenty of restaurants onsite to choose from, which I’d rate at 8/10 overall - reliable and tasty without being amazing.

Everyone is super friendly and always greets you with a smile, and there are endless activities to keep you occupied.

We’ll definitely be back!

We had a fabulous time in this little oasis! The staff was incredibly gracious, polite, friendly and helpful. We felt utterly pampered and would definitely return and recommend it as a destination to others!

We had a really amazing time Vila Vita Parc, the staff were very attentive and the view was amazing where we stayed. We really enjoyed the vegan options of food we had for breakfast, definitely worth the stay.
