We were in Victoria for medical reasons and this hotel was very convenient to Victoria General Hospital. Great staff, live music in the pub if that's your thing. The only real negative was the lack of an elevator.

Stay was great and the restaurant for breakfast was great as well.
Just confused about the housekeeping situation. We did not request any for the length of our stay as instructed by the front desk person. Then the day before we checked out our room was cleaned. Not a big deal, just confusing.

Hecklers bar up the road was the best find. The stay was as expected for outside doors and the age. New owner was awesome and very accommodating.

The location was very convenient and easy to get to. Front desk staff were amazing both for checking in and out. The hotel is dated but very clean and all the basics are provided. The beds were comfortable with nice fresh bedding and lots of fluffy pillows.

It's a motel with long-term tenants as well. Avoid it if you have extra bucks. If you love motels with common balconies and a loud pub and wayward smokers, this is your GO TO.

We are a family of 5 and stayed in a room with 3 double beds and it was clean and comfortable. It is right beside a lounge and we could hear a bit of music but that didn’t bother us and my kids are 6, 11 and 14. By 11pm I think it would be quiet already. Would stay here again.

Clogged bathroom, dirty coffee maker, noisy heat vent, previous guest/ staff’s blonde hair on bed, got bite marks on my back either from bed bugs or mosquitoes. Couldn’t sleep well entire night. Comparing to these conditions with the amount I paid for the room- it’s too pricey. Water temperature keeps changing from warm to very hot or very cold itself while taking shower.

I didn't realize there was a bar attached to this hotel. When i arrived at 8 to check in the music was so loud you couldnt hear the front staff. I was told the music shuts down at 10 which it did, but i probably wouldnt have stayed there had I known about the attached bar above.

The front desk said we could check in early, we arrived with children and a pet and then they told us the early check in couldn’t be honoured, fine. Came back at scheduled check in to find out our room still wasn’t ready. They gave us an “upgraded” room that has a smaller bed? It didn’t fit our needs at all but they said it was “clean now”. It wasn’t clean at all there were bugs in the bathroom. Happy to send the video I took.
The bed in the bedroom was so uncomfortable I was up all night.
The pool area smelled like cat spray and it needs a deep clean.
The whole place is quite dingy.
I was extremely disappointed.

Shocked when the bar with live music started up in the evening as there was no mention of this during check-in. Rooms at the far end of this motel are probably fine, but if you end up in room 379 be prepared to be kept awake until the final bar stragglers leave.

Right outside our door was the patio where patrons took their smoke breaks, and regularly propped the bar door open so the live music and voices sounded like they were inside our room. Probably didn't help that our room's door wasn't fully sealed (light showed through along the side and bottom).

The room itself was a good size and clean, and the beds were comfy. The staff we met were very nice. But I wouldn't stay here again even if the room was free.

Don't bother trying to take a shower. From scalding hot to ice cold without even adjusting the tap. Also, they state cleaning service is by request only, yet they will enter your room when service not requested. This is a severe violation of privacy. I will never stay in a Days Inn ever again

There were bugs on bathroom floor. Bathroom sinks and wash basins were completely clogged.

Swimming pool was very unhygenic and pool water was stinky and cloudy.

This Days Inn didn't even bother to provide barthroom slippers. Moreover, you can hear all kind of sounds at night and won't be able to sleep.

The worst part - no one cared to ask feedback during checkout.

Shower went from freezing cold to scalding hot. The bathtub didn’t drain well. My son got sick on the bedding and when I switched the bedding with what was provided, the mattress protector was not protecting the mattress at all, it was still wet from vomit. Otherwise, decent enough for the price

The staff was very personable. They changed our room at check in to one further away from the bar as they had loud live music that night, which we appreciated! Most areas were nicely renovated including our room. My only feedback was that the box spring of our bed was very squeaky and some areas of the hotel had a bad odour.

Notification if the sound volume on a Friday/Saturday night would be nice to note. There is a very busy night club attached to the motel; the windows are old and not great for sound barrier; the building is old so there is a lot of reverberation dispute being halfway down the building.
Otherwise, staff was great, room was clean and comfortable, per area was accessible and stocked with bags; bed was really comfortable.

The room was fine. We had booked for a king bed and got 3 queen beds. The room was on the 3rd floor with not elevator and we had a number of bags to bring in due to the cold weather. So we had no bag trolley and had to clime 3 flights of stairs multiple times with very poor lighting.

The morning front desk attendant was not very friendly. The afternoon staff were very helpful and attentive. The hotel has three floors with no elevators, which should be clearly stated in the hotel information. The pool was cold, and the gym is small with limited exercise options. Despite the blackout curtains, they did not block external light effectively. The air conditioner was noisy, and there was no soundproofing between the rooms.

Room heater was broken. We stayed for 2 nights. They told mechanic will come and fix, but one of the receptionist came to fix when we were out and said they fixed it . But the room was freezing cold. It was a terrible experience without warmth for 2 nights. The rest of the service is good and a cheap price. But, overall I would not recommend this hotel to anyone especially in winters.

This is a motel. It is clean and the staff are friendly. There is a pub on the property. The bathroom is small and could use a refresh. Great bed & very clean. Nice location by the Grey Goose trail on the Victoria reservoir.

Our room was clean and spacious. We really appreciated that, even knowing that our bathroom would not be accessible. When a guest asks for a room for a wheelchair user, please advise them that your building is on multi levels. We asked for a bottom level room, expecting a ground floor. However, the bottom level is on a hill, and the second level of the back of the building is on ground level. That would be more helpful for wheelchair requests, because new guests would never guess the shape of the building. Thank you very much. Otherwise, the rooms were spacious and suited us well.

Checked-in late night, lady at front was very nice and helpful (could perhaps avoid chewing gum when with guests at desk, just an idea), the bed was surprisingly comfortable, room very clean, all around very decent value for money. I would suggest the hard-working room attendants be given proper cleaning equipment so they don't use guests bath towels to clean the windows as I observed. Thank you, will very likely return.

Always a great stay at this establishment!!! U have the Loft for dinner and great fun entertainment. I stay for work each visit. Its all close to everything and everywhere.
