Awesome location-quite, peaceful, clean and jetted tub was a nice treat. We even had a koala in the tree next to our villa. The scent of the eucalyptus forest was intoxicating! Only negative was no TV and no WiFi.

There’s no wifi and only free to air from Ballarat. Novel. But I loved the quiet and the view and I would go back.

The view was beautiful and the setting in the trees was lovely. It was a bit too remote for our preference. The road to access the property is very steep and unpaved, which was a surprise and was challenging after dark. I don’t know if this is common but it’s the first time we’ve ever encountered a washing machine but no dryer, and no available wifi. If you’re looking for a couple of days to completely disconnect, this is a great choice.

We missed not having WiFi, but you can live without it, especially when taking a break. We went to Chris's Beacon Point Restaurant and loved the short cut through the bush from our villa. The facilities in the unit were first class. We sure to return.

We booked the Sheoak Cabin for a mid winter stay. Absolutely beautiful views with visits from the local native birds every morning. Everything you’d need for a weekend stay, good sized shower and bathroom. Washing machine was a bit small and had no instructions. Very peaceful and plenty of privacy. Owners were very nice on check in which was contactless. Would definitely stay again next time we’re in Victoria!

Within 5 minutes of arriving my wife was crying. We haven’t been able to go away this year and when booking we were looking for a clear ocean view with a comfortable room. Upon arriving we were checked in via an envelope hanging on the reception door, the check in document outlined all the rules we had to abide by and details of any extra cleaning charges we’d be liable to pay if we didn’t do things as per the rules. Within 10 minutes of arriving we’d arranged to go elsewhere on the second night and cancelled our accomodation there for the second night, we didn’t plan a getaway to feel like we were on a school camp and have rules to follow. The room was fairly clean, except the fact that bugs can easily enter via the broken fly screens in the room. The facilities I was almost too scared to use, as there is nothing around the accomodation I decided to buy breakfast to cook myself only to be greeted by a stove top that requires a fire lighter and the lighter we were provided had no gas. I resorted to using the Weber bbq to cook at least the bacon I’d bought, bit of a nightmare as it doesn’t cook bacon on the grill very well. The bed was somewhat comfortable, had a few marks on sheets/pillow cases. Overall not much went well, we were almost scared to drive in and out, you really need a car with high clearance to get in and out, we had a 4x4 thankfully. Overall not a good stay, management were not willing to refund any of our stay as we were quite disappointed.

If you are looking for a luxury boutique couples getaway , this isn’t it. While comfortable, the ocean view 2 person villa was very basic. Small shower, small tv, small air con/heater. Set well up the hillside, the location is isolated (so don’t expect to walk to the beach) and while providing a lovely view bring your binoculars if you want detail. If you are after some alone time with your significant other, and load in the supplies, then you can spend a pleasant day. If you don’t mind having drive to do anything other than stroll in the trees on a hill then give it a go.

No one there to greet us just a envelope stuck on the reception door We arrived about 4 o’clock place was clean but freezing Fire did not work was told it’s only for aesthetic reason . So looks nice but no fan to blow hot air into the rooms . There was a air con so we used that if you want to stay in the middle of nowhere this is the place for you . But be warned the drive up is not the best so a 4 wheel drive or a mountain goat is better . My son had a new car low to the ground and it was not good was booked for two night . But only stayed one

I would have liked if there was a provision of some milk for tea coffee as the closest store is in Apollo Bay.

Beautiful bush setting with an amazing view of the ocean. There was a koala in the tree right outside our cabin! We strolled each night looking for more koalas and kangaroos and weren’t disappointed. Very clean amenities and friendly staff. Easy check-in & only a 5 minute drive to Apollo Bay. This is the second time we have stayed here and will be back again soon.

This property is in a gorgeous location and the views are stunning. That is about it. It is very remote. There is no internet or phone service. I was alone and didn't expect this so it was very isolating. Luckily Chris's Beacon Point was walkable distance away and provided some contact. Don't confuse these two properties, as I did. The other is far nicer.
I was the only guest and there was rarely anyone available at the front dest. In fact, reception was locked on the day of check out.
If you want to be isolated and have a romantic get away, this place could be great, but if you are on your own, think again.

The property was great and the views were amazing. I was able to see 2 koalas right outside of my villa and see the sunrise over the ocean in the morning. The restaurant next door was delicious. My only conplaints were the lack of wifi and the giant spider that was in our apartment. And i mean giant.
