El lugar es divino como siempre. La pasamos muy bien es ideal para relajarse y descansar pero necesitan mejorar su servicio al cliente. Quitaron los carritos de golf lo que hizo que subiéramos a pie en la noche hasta la recepción. El personal del spa y restaurante espectacular pero la recepción no, nos dieron una cita para 12:30 en el spa y pedimos el late check out. Nos dijeron que solo podía ser hasta la 1 cuando el hotel claramente no tenia mucha ocupación. Pedimos servicio de bell boy y tardo tanto que tuvimos que sacar nuestras maletas para llegar a tiempo a nuestra cita en el spa.

Misión del Sol was an unbelievable property with amazing amenities. The dining is healthy and delicious; the spa services were wonderful; the property grounds are lush and soothing; and the on-site activities (yoga, meditation, sound bath) made sure your day was as active as it was relaxing. I cannot imagine a more beautiful and relaxing getaway.

El hotel es muy bonito, particularmente los jardines. El servicio fue bueno, la gente es muy amable.
Nos dijeron que están en transición y que poco a poco irán mejorando las habitaciones. La nuestra no tenía aire acondicionado, muy necesario en época de calor, y solo tenía un equipal para sentarse aunque era habitación doble, eso se ve medio pobre. La zona no es muy bonita y no ofrece gran cosa para salir, sobretodo en la noche. El hotel es caro, quizá un poco alto para lo que ofrece.

Tiene jardines e instalaciones hermosas. Solo que la villa junior no fue lo que reservé, me dieron 2 camas queen en lugar de una king y una queen; Me ofrecieron despues una habitación como la que pedi, pero me dijeron que olia a barniz porque la estaban pintando. Asi que no hubo otra opcion de quedarnos en la que me dieron, sin ningún ajuste de precio. Las camas y los mueble necesitan que pongan mas atencion en el mantenimiento y su renovación al menos nuestra villa no fue como esperabamos y como la muestran en las fotografías cuando hice mi reservacion, Es un lugar muy tranquilo y hermoso para descansar y su servicio en el spa y del personal fue excelente. El servicio en el restaurante y comida estuvo muy bien; En general estuvo ok, el precio es elevado en relacion al hospedaje de acuedo a nuestra experiencia en nuestra Villa y creo que lo pensariamos para regresar.

El hotel esta perfecto, aunque hay que trabajar en algunas cosas.

Hablando de las habitaciones, estan del tamaño correcto, el baño es comodo, y las regaderas funcionan muy bien.
Hubiera sido un buen detalle tener puerta en lugar de cortina para separa el baño de la habitacion.
Las persianas no son adecuadas y la luz es muy intensa desde muy temprano en la mañana.
El domo se ilumina como lampara a las 6am lo que puede momestar a gente o incluso interrumpir el sueño.

El sistema de aire acondicionado esta falto de mantenimiento lo que lo lleva a hacer ruido y ser molesto a momentos.

Revisando estos puntos el hotel esta increible, la gente que trabaja ahi es en extremo amable y servicial.
El restaurante tiene opciones para todos, un poco cargado hacia lo caro, pero las porciones son justas y todo lo que comimos estaba muy bueno.

Esta es la tercera vez que mi familia y yo nos quedamos en Mision del Sol. Desafortunadamente hay cosas que han decaido desde la ultima vez hace un par de años. Las instalaciones de las villas parecen no haber recibido mantenimiento alguno en años. Este fin de semana llovió y nuestra villa se inundo, una de las habitaciones literalmente era un lago. Todas nuestras cosas se mojaron y no pudimos dormir en gran parte de la cama que estaba mojada.
Otro punto que no me gustó esta vez es que anteriormente este hotel era un hotel que no permitía niños, ahora aceptan niños pequeños ya que cuentan con un “kids club” pero no toman en cuenta las areas comunes como el comedor, donde diario nos tocaba algún niño chillón, y unos padrea mal educados que lo dejaban gritar hasta que se cansaba, o nos cansábamos nosotros de oirlo. Muy molesto definitivamente. El concepto de este spa NO es para niños pequeños y así debería seguir. Rompe completamente con el ambiente de relajación.
Los jardines y servicios como siempre excelentes.

Beautiful property and gardens, especially the water streams throughout the property and the landscaping. Rooms are in casitas all with garden access. The villas have 3 bedrooms and are very spacious but face a road that isn't nice and the outside neighborhood is not good at all. There was no air conditioning which is terrible considering that Cuernavaca is very hot and humid in the summer months.

The resort itself is beautiful. However, the rooms are dated and could use a facelift. The furniture has seen better days and there is no air conditioning in the rooms. We stayed in a 2 room villa. All the lighting did not work. The restaurant service and the food great. We had, manicures, pedicure, facials and massages. The ladies doing the service were wonderful, however for the mani-pedi you only had like 5 colors of polish to chose from which I found unacceptable. All in all it is a nice place. I may look for a more up to date location next time I am in the area.

My New Favorite Resort

There aren't enough good things to say about this resort. It's like they took a slice from the garden of eden and placed it Cuernavaca, Mexico. Gorgeously manicured gardens and streams that weave through the entire resort, a beautiful pool and spa that makes the city of eternal spring that much more enjoyable, rejuvenating spa services sure to leave you more relaxed than you could imagine, delicious food at the restaurant that can just as easily be served in your room or at the pool, charming rooms and suites that all open to some aspect of nature, and equally important to everything else, a sweet, generous, and hospitable staff always going above and beyond to make your stay wonderful. Counting down to my next visit, already miss the magic!

The resort was nice but trying to get there without getting lost was quite an experience. There’s no door for the bathroom and shower area, so you better take someone that is very close to you. I just like my privacy when I go to the restroom. Staff was pretty cool and helpful, pool was nice, the food was good but not too many choices to chose from.

Wonderful Hotel surrounded by beautifully landscaped terrain that creates a peaceful oasis.
Excellent dining. Staff very friendly and attentive. Overall a very relaxing experience.
The rooms are large with a high domed ceiling . Only con was the bed it needs attention. Mattress and spring box were beyond prime. Also sleeping during the day Is difficult due to bright sunlight coming in from the sky light. Otherwise Highly recommend this hotel.

Reservation for a friend

The reservation was for a friend from Europe that likes meditation. The service in general is fantastic, however the beds are not very comfortable quite too firm and noisy for a relaxing hotel. The bath and room are usually highly \"populated\" with small ants which might be uncomfortable for some people. The restaurant didn't offer the variety of wine my friends wanted (kosher) and they attempted to charge the cost of a whole bottle just for providing some glasses for it. The value against money its a bit in the limit.

Beautiful grounds

Our trip had a rocky start when the room we were offered had no air conditioning. After speaking with the manager Mike, he was more than cordial and upgraded us to a room with air in the bedrooms. He explained that the holistic atmosphere of the hotel limits electronic devices. The staff was wonderful and the grounds excellent. I would come back again and again!

Don't get me wrong. If you're looking a great spa, this is the place. Other than that, it's pretentious and overrated. Restaurant has a limited menu and there's virtually nowhere to go near the hotel

not the best place for non Mexico residents

Facilities and room were great. I just wish we had a tv in the room or at least being able to listen to music of my choice in the room. Wifi coverage is spotty at best. It's a beautiful place though

Very good as usual. Comfortable bed, very good spa menu, excellent garden,different and delicious food and juices.
The walls near the spa need maintenance
The bad:they allow smoking now, they didn't before. It's a holistic spa destination. No smoking please. How can you relax smelling smoke?

The Perfect Place to De-stress!

A retreat. Very quiet. We took advantage of yoga and meditation classes. They also offered Tai-Chi. There is a lot of vegetation, a very relaxing atmosphere. The food at the restaurant was delicious. The perfect place to take a few days to relax. The room was clean and the service everywhere was excellent. It is close to the center of Cuernavaca, but is it meant as a quiet and isolated place.

Calm oasis (No kids!)

The hotel is situated in lovely grounds and it was very relaxing. Nice pool area. Rooms are comfortable, but no TV or internet (be aware). We were sent on a wild goose hunt when we called about where we could get a coffee in the evening, but they eventually just sent some up to our room. The new age music near the pool and piped into the room gets old if it's not your cup of tea, but at least you can mute it in the room. The major benefit of this hotel over some equally nice ones in the area is that no small children are allowed. This means you get some blessed peace and quiet not found at almost any hotel in Mexico.

Exquisite Affordable Resort for R&R

I loved staying at this hotel! It was the perfect setting for taking a few days to relax, meditate, read, and get pampered. The spa services were affordable and excellent. The setting was beautiful. The property is gate-accessed only, so was very safe. There was a beautiful meditation space, part outdoors, a full service gym, a large hot tub, and wonderful delicacies in the property's restaurant. The only downside is that there are fans, but no air conditioning, in the guest rooms. Cool nights made up for this, though. I will definitely come back to this hotel.

Muy limpio, buenas habitaciones. Pero, hay que pedir habitación oscura en recepción, si eres fan de habitaciones oscuras pídela, porque la que me toco, entraba luz por todas partes, ademas, hay muchos jardines de fiestas alrededor de la propiedad, así que en sábado, no se quita el ruido hasta después de la 1 am. El café deja mucho que desear.

No, dormí toda la noche, el concepto que venden del hotel es un hotel de descanso, no pude dormir porque el hotel está ubicado a un lado de un salón de eventos sociales, la música estuvo a todo volumen hasta las cinco de la mañana, pese a que nos cambiaron de habitación para la segunda noche, se seguía escuchando la música en la segunda noche también, además nunca tuvimos agua caliente y cuando reportamos este inconveniente nos dijeron que era porque el hotel estaba al 80% desocupación, me he quedado en hoteles que han estado por arriba del 100% desocupación y este no es motivo para dar un servicio de agua caliente como el Cliente se merece. Además, al momento de hacer la reservación, el hotel vende un concepto además de descanso y holístico de Only adults, el cual tampoco es real, ya que en la alberca y en el restaurante siempre hubo niños. El hotel en el que me he quedado, venden un concepto de descanso,, el cual es una farsa.

El lugar y los servicios fuera de serie. El ambiente tranquilo y relajante. El spa es un espectáculo. Israel Colin el encargado es un ser de luz jajaja con un gran equipo:Annie, Selene, Yoyis. La limpia y temazcal con Mabel y los cuencos con Maribel. En restaurante Maggie, Luis y Valeria. En recepción Ximena y Víctor. Lo único es que batallé para temas de mi factura por reservar con Expedia y el invoice de Expedía no tiene valor de SAT en México.
