The food at the restaurant was good. They have a main dish whose name I can't remember, but it's a green pasta. You have to try it; it's delicious. The rooms are clean. The bathroom was better than the room. I didn't particularly like the decor. In the hotel entrance, they have a hanging lamp; they should change the light color to a warmer one; it would make a difference.

Room/facilities are a little dated/tired, with some amenities not working (like our jacuzzi bath, outdoor hot tub, and fireplace in our presidential suite) and stains on furniture and such, but overall it's clean enough, tranquil, and the setting is quite beautiful. we loved the pool (especially as we had it all to ourselves) and my wife was very pleased with her spa service. The staff was super friendly and personable, and the food was good. Would definitely return

One month before my stay, our airline changed our departure time, so we needed to cut our stay by one night. Called Expedia who contacted the hotel and spoke with \"Hanna\" 30 days before our arrival, way before the allowed date to make any change. I personally paid for a long distance call and spoke with Hanna, and all assured me that they were aware that I was not staying the extra day. Despite my efforts, I left a day early and was charged for a night I did not use. Stay away from this greedy hotel and it's administration. Lost money for something I didn't use.

I stayed there for a week. 3 nights out of 6 the hotel had events so there was loud music until 1 am. I complained and asked why I wasn’t aware of the events when they first contacted me but had no response. Also, they claim they are a smoke free property but they allow some guests to smoke in their terraces even if they have suites near with a balcony. I had to close my balcony because the neighbor was smoking all day. Also playing loud music and yelling every night until 3 am. Finally, the cleaning staff stole a gold and Diamond bracelet while I was at the spa. I reported it but nobody did anything. They just told me there was no bracelet. After that I would leave everything in the safe.
Overall I had a horrible, overpriced experience. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

This hotel is amazing! It was our third time visiting and will not be our last. The hotel staff was also able to arrange to bring someone in to do our PCR Covid test which was really convenient and cheaper than what we had seen in the Covid clinics in Mexico City. The staff are so friendly and do a great job and the food and drinks are delicious! Each room is unique and they have all been wonderful each time we have stayed at Anticavilla!

This is a beautiful hotel. Great for a romantic getaway. Beautiful pool. Excellent service. My only complaint was our room. Balla was the name of the room and it had windows that faced a corridor. At night the lights were so bright outside it would never get dark. There are no curtains in the bathroom area, just frosted glass. Also there is only clear glass between the bed and bath. Almost impossible to sleep. In addition there is a connecting room next door. On our stay several people were partying until 4 in the morning. It took two calls to the front desk to stop it. I would not recommend this room. Otherwise we love the Hotel and will return if we can get a more private room. Staff are great and the spa is wonderful.

The hotel has a very professional staff that makes you feel welcomed. The room was spacious and with all the necessary amenities. The only misses were that the pool was really cold and we could not swim. This was a major letdown as it was one of the principal reasons to stay in this hotel. Also the hotel advertises as an adult only hotel but it has a very popular restaurant that allows children. The children go everywhere on the hotel making noise and disturbing customers. This was disappointing as we were sure that we would have time to rest and relax. Everything else was really professional and great quality.

Anticavilla Hotel is a beautiful property with a mixed architecture of old and new constructions. The garden is beautiful and the pool is amazing. Honestly, we stayed here because where we wanted to stay was full. We were very happy to have found this place. Beautiful property, big/lovely/well-appointed rooms with the best shower I have ever enjoyed, and the best toiletries I have ever had in a hotel. We did not eat in the restaurant but it was full all day and night, mostly with locals. The people I so=poke too raved about the food. I will recommend this property to all of my friends and family, and if it is in your budget I strongly recommend this oasis in Cuernavaca. The one tine problem was that we were in town to scout wedding locations, and we had an appointment here as well. The young lady was very nice but neither had all the information we wanted but also failed to adequately show us the property (we weren't even shown the chapel). But in all honesty, this would be a great place to have an event. You can just use the spacious lawn while the rest of the property is running business as usual, or you could rent out the entire place, depending on your budget. If you are thinking about hosting an event in the area, I strongly recommend a look at Anticavilla.

Anticavilla is a luxurious smaller hotel, restaurant and spa. Athough we booked a junior suite, due to Expedia's VIP service, we were automaticaly upgraded to a master suit, De Chirico. Reserve it. You'll be glad you did. Private patio garden, spacious 3 room suite, a modern shower you may never get out of, and more.

On first sight very charming and peaceful. On second, room was dirty, had ants in the bath room, blanket and floor carpets were dirty, heating/ac did not stay on. Outside walk to our room was still dirty from a wedding that took place the day before and still wasn't cleaned up by the next morning. Restaurant food and service were good though.

The building is amazing, beautiful garden and great quite location. The room was good, excellent shower and spacious bathroom. However, personally I would have preferred if the bedroom's nice little windows would have curtains to block the early morning light. Also, for a 5 stars hotel, I think the bedroom should have at least one couch, and we took the junior suite! Other than that everything was great and I will still recommend the place, the service was outstanding in the hotel and restaurant and we are glad we booked😊

The hotel is very well located and the rooms are very large, modern and clean. They also have free WIFI and the staff in general is very friendly. The restaurant also is very good with very fair pricing and great local food. The hotel is located within a walking distance of downtown and the shopping area and some popular vars.

The hotel is super relaxing and luxurious. The staff are really friendly. Everything was great, but there were 2 things I disliked:
- the pool should be warmer
- there's a ridiculous massage cancelation policy: they menaced to charge the full price of a massage we were cancelling 12 hours before the scheduled time (didn't happen at the end but we had to argue about it)

The hotel is very beautiful, elegant, clean, private in a beautiful and safe neighborhood. You'll need a car or take a taxi if you want to go anywhere else in Cuernavaca. It is not within walking distance of the Zocalo, if that's what you're looking for. The pool and restaurant are great amenities. We didn't try the spa, we felt the prices were too high. We stayed for three nights and felt very comfortable there. The staff was kind and friendly. Service is good, but not always attentive. I lived in Mexico for 6 years and this place has a great balance between the traditional and modern feel of Mexican culture.

Overall I liked the rooms, they were nicely appointed with Bulgari ammenities, beds were comfortable, the bathrooms are amazing. I did not try the food at the hotel, within walking distance there are nice places to eat as well. Water at the pool was too cold for my taste, and the pool area does not have a jacuzzi, it would be nice if they add one. Perhaps it was the time frame I stayed at (Dec 20-22) but they had live music until about 11:30pm that can be heard at the room I was staying at, I wanted to sleep, but for a couple of days I could not do it early because of the music. The staff was always friendly!.

Unfortunately i can not recommend this hotel, look and feel great in the Presidential Suite, however we did not get hot water for two days of our stay, the TV did not work, and the restaurant close down at 8 PM, this is very sad for a great looking hotel.
