All you need for a couple of nights. Clean, friendly, parking, WiFi. Not the easiest car access straight off main road, but on main bus routes if not driving.

We loved our stay at Acer Lodge. The room was spotless and the beds were comfortable. Breakfast was delicious each morning. And the hosts were super nice and friendly. We definitely would stay here again and I will always choose to stay at a B&B over a corporate hotel.

We were in an attic room which became very hot and uncomfortable. A fan was provided which helped. Main complaint is the breakfast cost which you are presented with when you leave. 12.99 GP ( about $17.50) each day you eat. If you don't care about an included breakfast this is a nice place.

Room was very small. It was clean, but the towels were small and rough and the bedding was very well used. The pillows were almost flat. Breakfast was not included, so we didn’t bother with it. The owners really stuck it to us on the weekend rate which was almost double the price of a weekday stay. This made the size and condition of our room and the lack of breakfast even harder to swallow.
It is not hard to catch the train the the city. Would be worth it, except for the price we paid we could have stayed much closer. Oh, and they also had checkout at 10 am!

I loved staying here. I thought it would be loud because of the busy street out front; however, it was quiet and comfortable in my room. You are a 45 minute walk from the bay, and the town just to the North has an incredibly charming feel and pub.
The owners cook a fantastic breakfast, and will go out of their way to give you the best advice. It will save you a bit of $$$ from staying in the more bustling areas like Haymarket, but you will get really good advice from the owners no matter what you do.

We had an excellent night’s sleep at Acer Lodge. Perfect for our family ahead of flying out of Edinburgh airport the following Monday. Good communication from hosts and excellent clean and comfortable room. The stay was really nice and cosy a short trip from the zoo which was nice. On arrival the welcome was nice we were shown around and then left to our own devices. 10/10 when I come back to Edinburgh I will be planning another stay here.

This is a hidden gem on the outskirts of Edinburgh city convenient to the airport, it is exceptionally clean, comfortable and welcoming with great hosts. Its location is serviced by a very regular bus route with bus stops very convenient to the guesthouse. A great choice of breakfast and served with perfection.

Place was amazing! A bit noisy next to the road but no real issue with that. Breakfast was amazing and the hosts were incredibly helpful. The only thing is the pillows are a bit flat - glad we had our own travel ones. The beds were comfy, though. Bus ride was about 30-50 minutes to city center depending on where you were headed.

This was our 3rd night to stay here, the first 2 on our arrival, and this one for our departure. Finding rooms we could afford and within reasonable distance to the Edinburgh Airport was essential and this was the best I could find at the time. My one big issue with Expedia is the ever-changing price of rooms. I know it is based on demand and timing but it really is an auction, like Ebay's \"buy now.\"
The hosts here are pleasant. Breakfast was included but we had to leave early for our flight and so paid for breakfast without actually getting it.
The room was small but adequate. The bathroom was very small and we were not crazy about the construction of the shower enclosure.

GOOD PLACE....I THINK THEY HAD PRIVATE TOILETS AND SHOWER BUT NOT SURE. IT'S ON A BUSY STREET SO ACCESS IS JUST A WEE BIT DIFFICULT WITH A CAR. IT IS NOT LOCATED WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE OF THE CASTLE. NICE PEOPLE....CLEAN. ENJOYED OUR STAY.

Acer house is a very convenient location for the airport, located on a main road. We did not feel that it was noisy, although our room was facing the backyard. You definitely have to be careful pulling out into traffic however!
Host was very accommodating and helpful, the bed was comfortable and the room was nicely appointed. Since we were just looking for a night's rest, and a place to repack baggage before a flight, we didn't really get a chance to enjoy the rest of the amenities. But I would definitely book it again.
