The accommodation is ideally suited for couples, with easy access to the trams for convenient travel to the town, which is just a four-minute walk from the hotel. The staff is exceptionally attentive and always greets us warmly. The level of hospitality is outstanding, and the room is impeccably clean. Upon my next visit to Scotland, I will certainly choose this establishment again, as we thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere and our experience here. I highly recommend it.

This is a cheap hotel so I guess you get what you pay for. But the location isn’t great, it’s quite a hike from the nearest airport bus stop and across a dual carriageway. The shower is in the bedroom, there is no bathroom, just a tiny toilet cubicle so very limited privacy. We both slept badly.

But it was much cheaper than nearby hotels so it’s a lesson learned: pay more and sleep!

The room was clean but basic, the bathroom is not a separate bathroom but sort of in the room, it’s odd. Breakfast was only toast, yoghurt or cereal with pastries.
That being said the staff were amazing and made the stay much better, really friendly and helpful, made everything smooth and carefree.
Probably wouldn’t book again because the room was disappointing but staff really tried

The window didn't close properly making the room cold and noisy, The thermostat was locked at 26c so I had to constantly turn it on and off to maintain a reasonable temp.

The water was turned off for maintenance without warning and while I was packing my car to checkout the remaining items were removed by housekeeping who were friendly and returned my items but I am unhappy my room was cleaned before I had checked out of the hotel.

Staff were friendly and very helpful unfortunately the room we had was dirty we did find blood stains on top of the top bunk followed with a small bits dirt too on top of the covers, under the covers, bed sheet and mattress, we didn’t use the top bunk but did use it for storage as there wasn’t a lot of room to put anything, the main bed we had was the same covered in bits of dirt, hairs and a stained pillow as well, we did ask for house keeping to come in and they made it cleaner till we was happy, the room was so small as well barley any room to fully move around with 2 people, the bathroom isn’t a bathroom which is fine for a small room but the shower door didn’t close properly leaving the towel on the floor to get soaked, the bathroom door has a gap so you can basically hear the other person doing there business in there then dealing with the aftermath Wether your in there or not. Despite all that I think me and my partner would stay again but for the price of the room we had it’s not worth it- 4 walls with barely any room

Clean, but not warm (air conditioning unit still on summer mode) and rattling in one of the outside vents kept me up (probably not an issue for a heavy sleeper).

The room was clean, I was able to book a room for 8 nights just a day in advance (had to change my hotel very spontaneously), it's located outside of town but there are many bus stops and the tram station very close.
The only \"issue\" I had was the breakfast. I know it's not a 5 star hotel but the breakfast was much smaller than I saw advertised.

Very close to tram station which is great. Room is beyond tiny, and just surface cleaned. Shower opens up right into the room so if you're not sharing with an intimate partner it is a bit awkward. Bed was comfortable enough.. pillow was lumpy. I suppose this is what you get for a budget hotel near the airport. If I had to stay more than a night or two I would be really unhappy.

We stayed here because the train was close. It was a clean and safe place to stay. Location was away from the city and it cost a bit to Uber into the city. Our room was very small and tight. You could barely turn around in it. There wasn’t any ventilation in the room and no fan in the bathroom. Good hot water in the shower. Breakfast was just okay. Could have offered more items. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Chekwd in online gave an estimated arrival time. Arrived around 1PM the front staff was less enthused.
Came back later after shift change, got a very nice and helpful gentleman at the front desk.

We booked a twin room. Very small. The shower was in the actual room. the toilet was just in a cubboard with a magnetic lock ( poorly lock). Old vinyl flooring but it was clean and otherwise comfortable.
Very easy and convenient to travel by tram.


The breakfast was ok, no hot options.

Expensive for what it was.

I wasn’t aware that this was a SUPER budget hotel. I mean, no phone in the room, no coffee pot, no hair dryer, no extra towels. I was prepared for the small room because I stayed at an ibis hotel before. For some reason, they did not want to turn on the heat. When I asked for a portable heater, the answer was also “no”, however a staff member was kind enough to give me an extra blanket. It was really weird!

The price is too high! Nice and clean but for the cost it just isn’t worth it. You don’t even have coffee and kettle in the room. If you didn’t buy the breakfast, you have to pay for the coffee in the breakfast area. Which would be fine — if I hadn’t already paid $280CDN for ONE night.

The property is nice, clean and quiet and it was tiidied and cleaned everyday. My only criticism was that in our room tthere was no kettle, coffee, tea ans hairdryer. You have to go to the reception in the morning to get your tea or coffre, this thibgs woukd be a nice addition inside the room. Hairdyer is paramount for women like me who hair wash is very important. Staff were fairly nice...the area was quiet, five mins walks for the public transport which were the tram and busses so easy to get to the town center...All in all our stay is pleasant enough to get throigh 3 nights of stay. Will recommend it iff your not a very fussy person.

Felt the room was very over priced given the spareness of the room. Shower stall is in your bed area which was odd. Room small so not much space for luggage. No hair dryer. However the bed was super comfy. Re: breakfast - limited options. Not sure it was worth 8.5 pounds. Very close walk from the tram to the hotel. Easily can take the train to the. This is a great, clean, convenient option right by the tram, to get into Edinburgh! It’s in a business area (so not cute) but it’s quiet and safe, and close to a mall if that’s helpful. The price was a bit high for what it was, but I assume it was higher than usual because it was during the Fringe Festival.

Nice enough building but the rooms are hostel style tiny. Biggest issues for us were that the shower is in the sleeping/living area so zero privacy while showering/getting in & out. Also toilet has a room but the door does not go to the ceiling so in a small space, again, little privacy. Very convent to the airport and tram into Edinburgh proper. Loved the luggage scale in the lobby as well.

Very basic room - fitted the purpose. Very Clean room although holes in duvet and a stain on one of the top sheets. Room was noisy but I played white noise to block out the other rooms noises with comings and goings in the passageway as well as a weird continuous wind tunnel rumble sound. 2x Twin beds was just enough room for one with luggage, I feel 2 people would be very crowded. As a woman travelling alone coming into the hotel late at night the area is very quiet but the area the hotel was situated in was dark so a little unnerving, there were however quite a lot of security guards on patrol which helps .. there are steps getting to the hotel and off the train platform. Breakfast was very busy and I did not stay for the complimentary tea that is available on the restaurant.
