A good location near the airport. Breakfast was sufficient. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Stayed two nights, 1 before my trip and 1 afterwards. First stay was fine but second stay wasn’t as good as the TV in my room kept turning itself on all night with the volume on. Couldn’t find the switch to plug it out as it was hidden behind the wall. Some works going on in the floor I was staying on. Making noise early on but I was up anyway with the TV! Overall I would stay again as it was fine on the first stay.

Convenient for Edinburgh Airport, 5 minute walk to the terminal building. Friendly staff at check in. Room modern and clean, good sized shower. Only downside was the heating system. Even turned down to lowest setting room was very warm overnight. The fan could not be turned off from the room so ran noisily all night. May suit very heavy sleepers.

Pros - the hotel location is idea for Edinburgh airport, Cons - the room wasn't the best in terms of cleanliness, bed sheet had big stain on corner of the sheets, toilet bed had used sanitary pad and false nails in it still, shower plug was blocked so it filled up pretty quick, there is also work going on externally on the building so a fair bit of noise from outside around 9.30am.

Room was clean and practical and the bed was comfortable enough, that’s the positives. Bar wasn’t well stocked. On the Friday evening one of the bar staff appeared to have trouble understanding English. The choice of food on the menu was limited, food took about 30 mins from ordering and was rather bland. Our party of ten booked dinner elsewhere for our second night. Breakfast was expensive and only included four cooked items despite the £15 charge. Like most places these days they appeared to be understaffed. It’s a pity the food and drink and overpriced breakfast let the overall experience down as location and general cleanliness of the hotel were good.

I didnt manage to catch the name of the man who checked us in but he was lovely and super helpful.

However it would have been good to know that there was construction work ongoing at the hotel - we were woken up at 8am with works going on right outside our ground floor room.

I don’t understand the logic in putting guests in those rooms unless the hotel is fully booked? It was an accessible room that we didn’t need.

For anyone staying in the near future - beware of construction works ongoing.

The staff were all pleasant and helpful although not enough staff on the bar in the evening as took ages to get served.
Air conditioning/room temperature was so hot. I turned it off as instructed and opened the window but as they dont open far this did very little. It had a real impact on my sleep as did the delivery wagon that rolled up just outside my window at 3am and proceeded to unload pallet after pallet. The matrress was not particularly comfortable either so all in all a verg poor night sleep.
The rest of the room was comfortable and nice hot shower.
The breakfast was great and food at dinner reasonable.
The gym was ok, very small though so woth 4 people in it was full but enough equipment if only one or two people.

Only issue was the website says there is a 24hr shuttle bus from the property to the airport.

Dropped my wife and luggage iff whike I returned hire car. When i got back to hotel i was rudely told by a non scottish manageress that if I didnt give them the car rego it would cost me 100 pounds!! No mention on any of their information did it mention that.
2) were ignored by bar staff for over 20 mins while she served others who came in well after us. The only reason we eventually got served was because I raised my voice. Then to told that half the food menu was unavailable!!!
3) Rooms had no phone
4) Had to take a cold shower to cool down in the room (-3c outside) as the air-conditioning only got hotter as i decreased the temperature.
5) Informed if we wanted it cooler we had to open the window!! It was -3c outside and we were at the airport!
Who would design a hotel next to an airport that required windows to be open for coolness. The planes came in all night!!
