This is a second time I stayed in this hotel and a first time ever I was asked to show my passport at check in even after I already presented another ID card - driver license.
I asked why and was told that because DL was issued by another country. But passport issued also by other country , the same Government. I felt extremely uncomfortable, especially when all my data from passport were in their system. If hotel do not trust to me with my ID even after already paid room, why should I trust to unknown person who
clear my personal significant data?
I discovered that it is common practice in Europe hotels, but once again it was my first experience even in Europe.

Other than that - everything else is perfect.

The reception staff were very courteous and welcoming upon my arrival. The gentleman was able to answer my questions and provide recommendations based on my queries.

My room was clean and welcoming. The bed was very comfortable.

The restaurant waitress/bartender namely, Anette was fantastic. She knew the menu very well and was able to recommend menu items based on my likes. The clubhouse with fries were great. The fish and chips were also good but portion was small. The beer platter was okay, the burger with fries, and the crème brûlée was awesome.

Loved the coffee, fresh fruit and omelette station for breakfast were my go to.

I would stay again based on my experience.

Staff were very helpful and professional. We had a room overlooking the courtyard it was quiet, it had everything you need and would expect from a Radisson Blu hotel (including effective air con). The bed was exceptionally comfortable and I really liked the bronze and red velvet touches in the room. Housekeeping was excellent. The breakfast buffet was good, the hotel has a small bar (also good). Nil issues and would happily stay again. I would suggest you mention you are a member at looking - I forgot to do this (I have premier status).

Fantastic Stay - Highly Recommended!

We had an exceptional experience at the Radisson Blu Elizabete Hotel. The staff were warm, welcoming, and incredibly helpful. A special thank you to Janis at check-in and Elina at checkout—both went above and beyond to make us feel at home.

The room was very comfortable, and we really appreciated the refillable water bottle and filtered water station—a small touch that made a big difference. The location was also ideal, with plenty to see, eat, and do just steps away.

When we return to Riga, we’ll absolutely stay here again!

Lovely hotel on edge of one of parks, 15 min walk into Old Town.
Reception team very good. Rooms spacious and clean.
Evening restaurant staff poor. Sat 20 mins waiting for menu or offer of drinks so walked out and complained to reception - went elsewhere.
Does not appear to be an evening meal venue as rarely saw people eating there.
Breakfast another story as well staffed and good quality choice.

Really lovely hotel conveniently located for the centre of Riga. Very comfortable rooms. The shower was a bit weird in that the water went everywhere due to the tiny cubicle with no barrier to stop the water. Apart from that it was a really good stay! Breakfast was also fantastic.

The stay was excellent. The hotel is very well organized. Centrally located. Quiet. Sound insulation is great.
But the room was lacking a bedside table on one side of the bed. That was bizarre. Bathroom door not properly closing. I love my husband, but I also love privacy in the bathroom.
Breakfast is excellent once you figure out small tricks for extra menu. Takeaway breakfast for early morning travelers is a luxury these days. However, one thing to keep in mind is not to put too many liquids into breakfast bag, because of the liquid restrictions at the airport. Sandwiches were very yummy at 6am onboard the plane.
Gym was a pleasant surprise that ought to be discovered earlier. Sauna is very good. Showers need a proper door. Rest area in the gym/sauna could be improved.

The Front Desk staff were simply amazing. When they heard my luggage was lost/delayed, they immediately took me under their wing to help me out as if I was their family member.

Front Desk Manager, Laura, personally called the local FinnAir rep at least 20 times since no one was answering. Laura also lent me a Raddisson staff winter coat which was clean, cozy and a Godsend.

Mariana, who checked me on that dark, rainy night was kindness through and through. She made me feel so welcomed.

The other front desk female employee (long straight dark hair) …sorry about lack of name… was gracious in giving me info of what was nearby.

Finally, another front desk female employee who likes second-hand shops just as much as I do gave me great info on nearby, walkable charity shops so I could purchase an extra sweater or two until my suitcase showed up (a few days later). Recommended for a comfortable stay. All staff were courteous and helpful. Rooms comfortable and clean although the bathroom was a little small. Breakfast is excellent, with a very varied buffet taken in pleasant surroundings. Hotel is 10 minutes walk from the historic centre and located in a safe and clean area.

If you don't smoke, stay in another hotel

Beautiful city - such a hidden gem! Nice hotel, small rooms, amazing breakfast! They have a beautiful backyard but unfortunately some guests smoke there, so if you're on the lower floors facing the yard expect smoke in your room. I'm surpirised they allow it, as other places in Riga are smoke free. If you're a non smoker or have kids, I'd stay in another hotel.

Just a walk through parks to the old town on an upscale street. Lido’s around provide inexpensive food options with authentic Latvian foods. The buffet breakfast is nice but really could use more fresh fruits and salad options. Strawberries were in season but absent and a lack of nice salad options was a bit disappointing. As well fresh eggs rather than using powdered eggs for the scrambled eggs should be used at a 5 star hotel as well as other egg options.

Good Radisson service!

Hotel was quiet, only at was open for meals so the restaurant was closed. We had dinner at the bar, the bartender was very helpful and congenial. We stay at this hotel in Riga almost always when passing through.

Amazing weekend here

It was not long before realizing I made an excellent choice to stay here for my 3 day stay to Riga. Service was great, hotel was quite nice and of high value and in a great location outside of the old city. Easy walk to the larger Radisson Blu where there is a Skybar and nice spa as well. The hotel is located adjacent to a large park and at night the area was totally quiet. Sleeping with an open window, no problem. Staff was very friendly and helpful. It was also easy to get a taxi or “bolt” from this location.

Love everything about this hotel. Great location, gorgeous room, big bathroom. I especially loved the grab bars in the shower/bath, and the real bar soap. Also loved that they tidied my room every day without asking, not hiding lack of service behind spurious claims of environmental sensitivity. I was able to check in when I arrived at 10 am, which I also appreciated.

The property is situated in a most accessible area of the amazingly beautiful city. It is surrounded by lovely parklands, which were a pleasure to walk through and the most spectacular architecture of such quality and variety it was breathtaking. I liked everything: room, hallways, breakfasts, staff was friendly and very professional. Great service at the reception, breakfast area and also room care - cleaning and housekeeping - were very good. Thank you!
One little thing I would like to mention is the strange design of the shower. It was a little uncomfortable to lean over the tub to reach the faucet, and while standing under the shower, one constantly steps on the drainage lid, closing it.
Overall, I couldn't be happier. I loved staying at your hotel. Thank you very much! I would like to stay with you again on my next visit to Riga.
