The hotel is conveniently located on the edge of the Riga Old Town (accessible by taxi). Walking distance to all attractions and dozens of great dining options. Rooms are not very large but functional. Very friendly and accommodating staff.

Great hotel in great location.

Really lovely and helpful staff. The hotel is within walking distance to everything and there is a tram stop outside. Bastion hill is directly across the road and lots of the old town sights right around the corner. The breakfast had fantastic choices and there was free fruit available to take during the day. The bed was super comfortable and the shower was a great size and didnt leak!. I would definitely recommend.this hotel to friends and if i do ever visit Riga again, i wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Very positive hotel stay experience.

Brilliant stay very close to the old town!

I checked in to find my original room hadn’t been cleaned by housekeeping. I went downstairs to inform the lady at check in and she apologised profusely and said she would upgrade me to a superior room. I was really pleased about this as I would have been happy with my original room just being cleaned by housekeeping. The lady at the front desk was fantastic and went above and beyond to help me. My superior room was absolutely gorgeous and completely spotless. I had a coffee making machine, super soft and comfortable bed and a glorious view of the park across the street. My room was amazing!! The breakfast was wonderful and really delicious. The staff were really polite, friendly and kind. Nothing was too much trouble. Would definitely recommend.

Nice hotel a couple of minutes by foot to main attractions in Old Town. Tha staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious. Room had an odd shape, which I didn't find very convenient because it felt narrow and awkward. Also, the windows are not sealed and I got a cold because of cold air current

For the price this was a good hotel and the breakfast was excellent. If you’re not on a budget I would stay at the other Radisson (blu) as that was more fabulous with a roof top bar.

That being said, this hotel is in an amazing location for old town Riga, walking tours, museums and the Christmas markets. The Christmas markets were possibly the best I have seen, and everything is within walking distance. Latvia is a very safe country! Most people speak very good English, is a major plus to which I am grateful for.

There was a mix up as I had asked for a room with two single beds, and Expedia confirmed this (2 friends sharing a room), however, I was told at the hotel this could never be guaranteed. Good job we are good friends : )

Comfortable hotel in an ideal location

The hotel couldn’t be better located for exploring Riga old town. Our room overlooked the lovely Bastejkalna park, where you can pick up boat trips or enjoy a cold drink in one of the cafes. The trams run right in front of the hotel and can be loud so light sleepers would be better to ask for a room to the rear. Staff were welcoming and helpful and we really enjoyed the breakfast, though there are many alternative places close by too. We enjoyed a few drinks at the bar but it did shut a bit early at 10pm. Shout out to the young bar man who spoke impeccable English and even understood our Scottish accents with no trouble at all. All in all, a comfortable and pleasant stay.

Great hotel! The staff was excellent. My original room was facing the park and had a nice view but it was so uncomfortably hot. I asked the front desk if the air conditioning didn’t work and they said my room did not include it, though it was advertised on Expedia that it did. So they ended up moving me to one that did have one and it was much better! The room was clean, was cleaned every day, and had nice amenities. This is a good base to explore all the old town outside your doorstep. Would highly recommend. If you get really hot, I wouldn’t recommend a front facing room and ask for a unit with a/c specifically.

I would say that this is the best location for visiting Riga's old town and the parks in the center of the city. It is very conveniently located, not too loud either. Restaurants, coffee shops are all there. The room was small, but clean, and the price was right! I have seen other hotels in old town and I am glad I chose this one.

Very concerning with clothes lost there

Reception and breakfast I can say is fantastic. The second night there is a night club loud music. And also I lost my Ralph Lauren Jumper there, and I never open my suitcase, which is very concerning. I called reception 3 times, they said they will ask housekeeping and update me whether found or not, but no one called. If other customer found same experience, then I think there is a pattern need to be aware and escalate. As it never happen to me with all Also to mention my concern is that, the room is not quite cleaned according to my experience to stay with 4/5 stars hotel, towel used still hang in the rail not changed, linen not changed just put flat without tucked in, and also no refreshment of complimentary of water. Anyway, if I didn’t lose the jumper I won’t even care. But it seems quite concerning when I think back.

Nice breakfast, good location to kick off walking tour of Riga located beside a lovely park. A small gym is available behind reception. Unfortunately they don't serve dinner in the restaurant but there are lots of restaurants only minutes away.

Lovely hotel near the old town

The hotel is ideally located, clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly. The breakfast in particular was excellent, with options of gluten free bread, lactose free yogurt and milk and almond milk, in addition to all the usual options for a breakfast buffet. I had a superior room and appreciated the nespresso-style coffee machine in my room in particular.
There were only two downsides: the airport transfer advertised on this site is incorrect in the price as I was quoted 35€ not 15 - and when I said to book it anyway, the request was missed so I arrived late and there was no car waiting at the airport. Secondly, the WiFi never worked in my room as I was at the far end of the building. Otherwise, I’d be happy to stay again.

The breakfast offered in this Radisson branch was somewhat poor compared to other hotels from the same chain, at least according to my previous experience. The hotel is located in the centre of Riga. It s very comfortable and has the amenities one would need for his stay. Breakfast is very good and consists of hot and cold items with a great selection. I would like to point out that it would be better to have the juices and water cooled as they were.too warm to.drink in July and we.had to ask.for ice every day. Housekeeping did a good job although they tend to miss leaving coffee capsules for the coffee machine..I had to ask the night staff to give us some. I have to mention George who was very helpful and informative. I would recommend this hotel any time and surely return to it when I visit Riga
