Good location to explore old town by foot and easy acces for car transport going to the airport or further. The only thing I didn’t lime is the extra cost to use the pool but it’s seems to be the norm for all the hotels here. The pool is amazing and gym it’s pretty good

We was booked into the other wellton hotel. To arrive at nearly midnight with a 2 year old and be told we haven’t got a room due to overbooking, then said the hotel is too loud/not comfortable enough sized rooms. (Any excuse really) to then go to the new hotel with a tiny room. Given a bed for toddler all after midnight. No space in the room to even walk around the beds. Having to climb on the beds in the middle of the night which isn’t safe for a toddle or adults really. The food was ok, staff was trying to be accommodating. Told we could use the pool, for the pool to be in the spa area eg hot tub ect which a toddler can’t go in, hence why we booked the other hotel as it had a proper pool where we wouldn’t disturb anyone’s spa session.
Highly disappointed if I’m honest.they said they’d been trying to contact us all day, but no email or message through the app and obviously can’t answer or reply when in mid-air.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay..we were in the separate block..very clean and spacious. The underfloor heating in the bathroom was fantastic. The breakfast was first class...couldn't fault it..so much choice.
We had planned to use the spa but there was so much to do we didn't have time.
The only tiny gripe was that there was no milk in the room but the bar staff gave us some when asked.
We were, however, given a complimentary bottle of wine as it was my husbands birthday which was a really nice touch.
We were right next to the old town which was perfect...
Would highly recommend this hotel.

Fantastic hotel located a very short walk from the old Town with amazing Spa facilities. We spent three nights here and wish it could have been longer! The Spa facilities are an extra supplement but you can include spa access when you make your original booking, which works out cheaper than paying to use them ad hoc. Breakfast at the hotel was very good, with a wide range of freshly cooked food available. Great staff, great facilities and great food, what more could you ask! We will return.

Not my first time here, and it won’t be my last. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, the staff are friendly, it’s in a quiet location despite being in the old town.

I haven’t used the spa, but the gym is good by hotel standards and there are plenty of options at breakfast, although if you time it wrong it can be tricky finding a table.

Took them 3 days of asking to put soap in the room. One person on reception suggested it wasn’t important. The swimming pool can’t be used whenever you want, you have to book online, and they limit the visits too - nothing tells you this when making the booking - very strange process. Good location though

Booked a room which said it was a king size bed which had a split down the middle of the bed so most properly two large singles together and also two separate bed sheets so when booked as a couple wasn’t what I expected. Also I booked spa visit on my booking but only found out on arrival that it’s limited to 3 visits basically one visit per night. This should be clearly mentioned when booking as every hotel I’ve ever stayed in this hasn’t been a problem when really it’s only the pool we wanted to use. When we went down the staff shrugged and said it was a small charge if we wanted to use the extra day $20 pp isn’t a small charge in my opinion. I stayed in the building next to the hotel I assume it’s newer but the showers are not useable as it trickles down

Decent hotel with superb breakfast. Let down because between 01/Sept and 01/April they turn the air conditioning off. Our room exceeded 25 degrees first night. External noise (drunks in courtyard) meant Windows open wasn’t great option. We had to beg a portable fan, which was reluctantly provided.

The hotel is in a convenient location - close to the bus/tram stops and just a short walk to the old town. Super views from the viewing area at the top of the hotel, but be careful if you go up there when it's dark as there was no lighting and had to use phone torches to see where we were going

The hotel was well located just minutes walk from the number 22 airport bus stop. Just on the outskirts of the Ild Town again minutes walk from plenty of restaurants, bars and coffee houses. The Spa was excellent with a nice pool, two saunas, a steam room and a hydrotherapy pool.

On the downside, the rooms are quite dark with small windows and tall buildings outside. Breakfast was varied and plentiful.

The pool is NOT included as I was led to believe. An extra 50e per hour and a half for me and my son . I did have to spend 30 minutes arguing and emailing the advertisement, then suggest myself, that the give me a pass, while my 6 yrs old sat on the floor waiting. They did finally give us a pass for our stay. Could not go on our final day before checkout. If their advertising is unclear it on them. The only reason I booked there , was for the pool.

The staff were helpful and the room was fine for a short overnight before catching an early flight. It is easy to reach on foot when arriving by bus and is well placed on the edge of OldTown very near the Central Market.

Very nice modern comfortable room in a recent addition to the hotel. The only inconvenience was that one of us had to wait in the car on the street, while the other went to the reception to pay for the parking and get the instructions on how to get there. Fortunately, the line at the reception was not very long at that time. After parking, we had to line up at the reception for check-in again. The parking was only a few minutes walk to the hotel along a closed street in the old town. There is a very big (mostly food) market at about 10 min walk from the hotel.

Only problem was that we booked it for the pool and the pool doesn't come with the room although it says there is an indoor pool for the guests to enjoy. All the rest was great.

I was shown to my room and helped with my luggage when I checked. A new experience for me and helpful in finding the way to my room in the annex.

Parking was outside and on a dusty area so my motorcycle became very dusty and was hit by some bird droppings. On the plus side it was located next to the 24 hour manned kiosk.

Everything about this hotel was amazing! The room was not too big or small. Luxurious but not expensive, room service was amazing, Bat staff were great, remembered day to day what we were srinking, reception staff were amazing, especially Viktoria.

I only stayed one night, but it was an amazing experience overall. My room was in a newer section of the hotel across the courtyard. Because of this change, I was upgraded to a larger room. The bed was extremely comfortable with many pillows. The hotel is within walking distance of the train and bus stations. There's a great bar and excellent dining options. Great view of the river. Finally, many thanks to Veronika for her tireless efforts to make my stay as pleasant as possible. Will be back!

The swimming pool was closed for maintenanse, but I I was offered a voucher to the SPA centre in another hotel of the same chain nearby, in Old Riga. It was my first ever time in the Baltic states. I thought the people of Latvia were amazingly friendly. The Riverside spa hotel, from the girl who checked me in, to the staff behind the bar, all the reception staff,and the ones working in the spa. Fantastic location, great hotel!

This hotel is an excellent location for visiting the old town - 5/10 minutes away and there's a bus and tram stop just across the road (the airport bus number 22 stops there which is really handy).

Perfect location! Has tram and bus stops nearby. The central market is within walking distance and so is the Latvia National Library whic is just across the river. And everything in the old town is walkable.
The view of the river was amazing! Best view not just at sunset, but also at night and in the morning. The room size was adequate and it was spotless.
The breakfast spread was great. They even have sparkling wine at breakfast!
