Breakfast was chaotic, with dirty plates and cups piled on side tables and even the floor as guests moved things so that they could eat. The breakfast food choice was basic and some strange combinations offered.

Check in was easy. Room as unique. Not a fan of furniture that is low to the ground. We are taller and older, joints do not like getting out of low furniture.

When we arrived we were greeted by a nice receptionist lady who was very helpful with information we need. The staff were excellent and polite. The room was spacious and clean and the breakfast table was excellent and plentiful. We stayed here for an international football match and would definitely stay here again if in the area. Hotel was also very close to all places of interest in the old town.

Hotel Justus is very well located in the Old Town close to most of the major sites (once you can figure out how to get from A to B more efficiently than Google Maps --not easy). The staff was friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Our room was large and quiet. Although heating wasn't on extra blankets were provided on request. Breakfast was good and plentiful. We enjoyed our stay.

I stayed at this property for about 13 nights. The property is in a very good location and you will have easy access to all of the old town. I reserved my room with breakfast included. The breakfast was good overall but it seemed to be almost exactly the same every day. The room was very nice on the 2nd floor and easy to get to without using the lift. The staff were all very nice and welcoming and spoke English. The best part is the location is super close to everything in the old town. I highly recommend a summer visit to sit in one of the many outdoor cafes in Riga to hear live music and marvel at the Art Nouveau architecture. Hotel Justus is a great option to stay at.

Mistakenly placed my order a month early. Hotel presentation allowed changes. However, Expedia did not allow even same day canceling. In addition, had three rooms in one single order. Canceling the order would have required canceling one room at the time. Could not correct the situation and ended paying twice. Riga center is difficult for parking. Europark is 7 minutes walk away. There is no space to leave your car in front of the hotel to take your luggage out and check in and out.

Staff was great. There was some issue where my booking via expedia did not show up in their system, but staff did everything they could to accommodate me and provide extras. Really friendly and helpful in pointing out where to go and what to see. Breakfast is definitely worth getting, and it is in an area convenient both to walking around and using public or private transportation. Would definitely come back here.

Excellent location, just steps from all hilighted sites to visit in the Old Town. Very close to the bus stop (Bus 22 takes you to and from the airport for less than €2 instead of about €14 with the Bolt App.
Could use some improvement on the TV: only about 6 channels in Spanish, Italian, German and Latvian. We wished there was an international channel in English. Also, the room was very cold when we first got in, but got better after we asked for a space heater. Breakfast was good with a variety of choices. Since it was cold, it would have been nice if there was a tea/coffee tray with a hot water cooker.

Pros:
Suberb location, absolutely spot on for ease of access to all sights - everything was walkable, including the Art Nouveau centre and The Cornerhouse.
Breakfast, decent selection of food and it all tasted great.
Staff, friendly and helpful. Arranged airport transfers both ways and were always on hand to answer questions.
Rooms, clean and comfortable. Great water pressure from the shower and lovely hot water.
Cons:
Decor, somewhat dated and aged, the hotel could do with a facelift.
Rooms, no complimentary water or coffee or tea making facilities. To me these are a standard requirement for modern hotels.
Soundproofing in the rooms needs improving, whilst in general things were quiet and peaceful. Hearing the person in the next room using the toilet is not what you want!
Despite the cons, I enjoyed my visit and would stay at the hotel again should I return to Riga.

Great location. I stayed in 5th floor and I could see the Riga Cathedral from the windows. It takes 3 minutes to walk to there. All major attractions are in minimum walking distance from the hotel. Staffs are friendly and breakfast buffet is great. I went up to the tower of St. Peter Church twice to see the whole Riga which looks magical with all snow covered roofs. I definitely come back and stay in the hotel again.

I stayed at Hotel Justus for 2 nights. I am a solo traveller so had a single room and the room was very spacious. The location was very convenient, safe and walkable to all the local sites and restaurants which was good when I was walking home alone at night. Having breakfast included was a positive and there was a lot of choice. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I felt that the hotel was very good value for money and I would recommend to others.

We spent 6 nights here and can't say enough about how we enjoyed our stay. The staff were all friendly and helpful, breakfast was delicious, and the coffee expresso machine and water available 24/7. It was right in Old Town with attractions, restaurants, cafes, and shopping all within 3 to 15 min walk. The Christmas market was 2 min down the street. The room was cute and cozy. Great place to stay at a great price!

We visited Riga for the Christmas market. We stayed 3 nights at the Hotel Justus. The location of the hotel was fantastic for the market and all attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful and the room was comfortable and spacious. We had a superior double. The breakfast was a good selection of hot and cold food but if you came to eat during last hour many items were not topped up, despite requesting this. In the bar, they ran out of beer and still had none by the next night, and also had no wine glasses on one evening. Despite this we had an enjoyable stay, but the hotel does need to ensure food and drinks are available at the times advertised.
