2nd time staying in these apartments. Great location near to Hallgrímskirkja, and downtown Reykjavik for all the tour bus stop pick ups.
Close to all bars and restaurants. Room was big enough and sofa bed was fairly large which is unusual as found them very small in previous cities. Check in at the main hotel over the road was quick and we even got in our room early. Enough catering facilities in the room also for our stay.
Only feedback was that there was some paint peeling off the walls in a couple of spots as if it was a damp issue, but aside from that it didnt cause any problems with our stay, it just looked unsightly as you entered the room.

We stayed in the apartments associated with the Ódinsvé hotel and it was in an amazing location right on the Rainbow Road with a great view of the cathedral. Very comfy and spacious.

Apartment was right in the middle of the action. This was great for walking around, getting coffee in the morning, and walking around town, dinner etc. However, it was loud at night. Not really a problem - just close your windows. The accomodations were as advertised - 2 rooms. It was clean and had all amenities you would need. Overall it was a great experience and I would highly recommend.

We stayed in one of their apartments. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The property has a wonderful restaurant and is close to others offering a range of choices. The property is conveniently located two blocks from a bus stop used ans a pickup/dropoff point for the various experiences (e.g., Blue Lagoon, South Coast, Golden Circle, etc.)

Stayed in an apartment which was very good except was quite warm, even with windows open. There was a portable fan but it did not work. Upon arrival to front desk was given quite confusing directions to the apartments, located just a few blocks away. Other than those items, the property & location were excellent & another front desk person was quite helpful with some bus arrangements.

I booked our property on a whim and found out it was ON rainbow Row! How cool! It was so convenient. The view of the cathedral was epic. We were so tired, but sleeping was difficult because the foyer light never went off, we could never find the switch. And, the noise from the road and people coming out of the bars went on until 5:30 am😳

Great stay! Super spacious. Wonderful set up in the apartment. Have everything you might need in the kitchen. Close to many shops and places to see. I wish we could’ve stayed more than one night. Would say only downside is no elevator so be prepared to carry your luggages up the stairs.

If you plan on being in the club or not going to sleep until 5am on the weekend, then this location is perfect. Otherwise, stick to the main hotel. Our friends who stayed there had no issues with noise and e joyed there stay.

We stayed at one of the apartments, very roomy and super clean and perfect foe town location. Fromt desk staff and the hotel were very friendly and helpful in making reservations.

We toured Iceland as a group of 3 for 6 days. We stayed in a different place every night. This was definitely the most comfortable and spacious! Even had a view of the church from our window! There is no elevator, so that may be a deterrent for some. We only had to do two flights tho, so not too bad!

The apartments met our groups needs perfectly. While the property is a bit dated, it was incredibly clean, a great large space, and in the perfect location to walk around the city!

Loved the apartment - it's really well furnished and a great option for a family of four to stay in. Very roomy and also well equipped. Right in the centre of town too. There's a fairly noisy bar nearby but the glazing on the window is great so that wasn't really a problem. A supermarket a five minute walk away to stock the fridge. Comfy beds. Lovely bakeries and coffee shops so close by.
The only slight quibble would be around the breakfast offered in the hotel itself that was served 7-10 - we arrived at 9am but for 20 euro each it was a pain to find that everything had basically run out (no coffee, no cheerios, just the dregs of bacon sitting in a solid pan of fat) so I would avoid that in future and just organize my own.

Everything was wonderful; however, I would highly recommend updating the sleeper sofa. The mattress was not comfortable at all and was very noisy every time someone moved. Other than that, it was centrally located, clean, and had everything we needed to enjoy Reykjavik for a couple of days.

Loved the location and there was plenty of space. The front desk was staffed 24/7, unlike many other apartment-style rentals in the city, and it was nice to be able to leave our key at the desk so any of us could grab it if we came back separately. Would definitely stay here again!

Amazing Apt!
Absolutely amazing apartment. You could fit 5 but we were 3. So much room. Twin was smaller but fine and had a nice closet. Plenty of extra pillows and blankets. Beds on the firm side but ok (I prefer plush or memory foam). Every room had an individual heater (including 3 in the living room). Bathroom had a towel warmer as a heater which we used every day. Lighting in the living room was an issue as it was very dim all the time. Kitchen was fully stocked, but only had instant coffee so we bought coffee to brew every morning. So many windows, be aware no black out curtains in the living rooms so it stays light all day and night. View from the window is of the church. Literally you are on top of rainbow row. Best location ever but as other people mentioned if you are a light sleeper this apt is not for you and you are better off staying at the hotel. I brought my sound machine and honestly it was only a little worse than home (nyc). Hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. They help our luggage on the last day. Overall great apt and I would stay here again.

We stay at the apartment building which just in front of rainbow street. The apartment is so lovely and perfect to travel as family, make me feel like I want to live just right there :). The location is perfect to walk around town, restaurant and nightlife. The parking building is just less than 3 min walk. Parking is free from 6PM- 9AM, we park from 4PM until 10:30AM the next morning so we pay only 3-hour 30-minute (about 6-7$) very reasonable price for overnight and middle city parking.

Property was located in the heart of downtown which meant it was close to bars and clubs. Because of where it was located, all we heard was loud people shouting, singing, and even at one point vomiting as they left the clubs. It was very difficult to go to sleep. Also, the water from the faucets had a strong, pungent smell of sulfur which we didn’t experience at other hotels during our stay. When we called guest services to notify them of the smell, they were very nice by bringing us bottled water, but then surprised us by charged for the water when we checked out. We won’t stay at this hotel again.

Overall excellent stay in a nice 2 BR apartment. Good though pricey breakfast. Great location. Kindly allowed us to stay in a double room while we waited for covid testing results. However it seems all Icelandic properties should be aware that guests arriving from overseas will need to quarantine in a room, and a communication/email on the options and costs associated with the quarantine requirement would have been helpful. I understand this requirement will be ending soon but just a comment.
