Great location, just outside Exit A of the one-north MRT. Lots of restaurants in nearby Fusionopolis mall and plenty of Grab deliverers made easier by the secure lockers outside lyf.
Room was clean, well-presented and appointed and enough space, with private bathroom, work area and bed. Couldn't get the TV to work, so that's more for casting your laptop too, in house WiFi was fast and reliable. Cleaning service left a little to be desired, did not clean mugs/spoons etc or seem to wipe surfaces on the 7 day clean. Shared pantry for fridge items and a drinking water dispenser in the lobby on each floor is a good touch. Very friendly staff, 100% would stay again.

Aircon faulty, room no phone nor fridge (common share), corridoor hot n stuffy, recept slow, understaffed and so-so service, tv useless as need to cast everything fr hp, room very small, instructions to bring pet on Expedia app different than when check in, Expedia app put Apartment Hotel but actually Serviced Apartment, not daily housekeeping and unclear what room services available daily, many inconveniences.
Not worth the money.

Good is room very clean, like the rooftop garden (herbs) and grass hangout area, have filtered water, can bring pets and have cute pouch of pet amenities. :)

The room is small, as expected in Singapore. All the basics are provided, except there’s no tea and coffee provided in the room - surprising, but not a big issue as a supermarket is nearby.
Good points:
Great shower.
The hotel has nice shared facilities, including a kitchen and microwave. Big shout out to Lyf for providing a library with book exchange - an unusual and delightful feature.
Bad points:
Wifi is insecure and the LAN socket in the room doesn’t work.
Even though I’d done the ‘pre check in’ online, I was still required to fill in a form and check details at check-in. No point in doing the pre checkin, then.

The Staff on duty when I checked-in on the 3rd and when I checked-out on the 5th December were excellent. Room was clean. The location for access to mass transit was a deciding factor.

I loved the hotel. It got a modern design and while the room are small they are well built and i did not feel cramped. It's also just opposite to an MRT station. A bit quiet en the evening, it's more of a work area around, but you can easily reach more lively neighborhood in 15 min with the MRT. I'll definitively consider again in the future.

Needing a place to stay during my home renovation, I chose this hotel and was so glad I did. The hotel itself is fantastic—spotlessly clean and very reasonably priced. It was a perfect, comfortable retreat. The only small hiccup was the loft room I booked. While charming, the stairs were quite a challenge to navigate, especially at night. It's a small detail, but worth noting for future guests.

Convenient stay and friendly staff

The apartment is near to an mrt station which is very convenient to visit various places around the island.

It is also within walking distance of various eateries just opposite the apartment.
The staff were lovely and polite.

Although the room was clean and tidy, we felt that it was quite a small room for a couple to stay in. We didn't have much space to move around and when we need to pack and unpack our stuff in and out of our luggage.

This is a perfect hotel for the travelers. The one north subway station is cross street from the hotel, it is so easy to go anywhere. There is a big food center inside of the subway station, you could find anything you want to eat. The hotel room is very clean, have everything you need. We enjoyed swimming pool a lot, it is very clean and big size. There is a shared kitchen too, you could cook something if you want. Over all, we enjoyed our stay here very much. Definitely come back next time visit Singapore.

First thing, I DO NOT RECOMMEND this hotel to anyone that is sharing a room and/or with more than one piece of luggage. Backpackers only! Here’s why. The rooms are extremely small, no exaggeration. The full size bed is the width of the room flushed up against the window wall with the head and foot touching the opposing wall; accessible only from one side. The telephone is located near the elevator. There’s a shared refrigerator and ironing in the hall. The toilet area in the room is separated by the glass door of the shower. The sink is on a wall of the already small room. There are no drawers for your clothes and no closet. There is a retro metal pipe hanging from the ceiling with a few hangers for your clothes which I assume is the closet area. The bed has a fitted mattress cover and a blanket; no top sheet. The window has a roll up blind with no curtains; therefore, when your blind is rolled up, your entire room is exposed. In summary, this studio room would be ideal for a solo traveler/backpacker. The room felt like an upscale hostel because of the price.
Now, the pros of the stay are as follows: the area is extremely quiet. Public buses, trains and a small mall are across the street. The mall has an abundance of food eateries as well as a grocery store, and pampering salons.

A great stay, in a vibrant area of Singapore. An MRT station was a 5 minute walk away, making access to the city very easy. The pool was clean and well kept, with loungers and clean towels to use, large umbrellas were appreciated for a shady retreat.

Lyf One North is the cheapest place I could find with a piol and it was really good considering! There is a nice pool area and plenty of other nice spota to hang out.

There were two cons, the kitchen always smelt really funky and was not a nice place to spend any time in because of it and the locations, despite being next to an MRT is a little awkward. Most places required a train switch and nothing was less than a 45 min trip on public transport. The airport was over an hour via three seperate trains.

Its locafion is pikely why it was so reasonably priced though ao if you are on a budget and dont mind the travel time between hot apots theb it is highly recommended.

The lyf One-North Hotel is next to subway station. This is quiet area and a bit far from shopping area. But the room is very clean and Bed is so comfy even it is a small room. There’s an area for shared microwave, water dispenser and refrigerator for each floor.

By the way, it’s suitable for solo traveler.

Everywhere in hotel decorated with colorful paintings and pictures. Luv it.

Great 5 day stay!

Amazing, we always look for somewhere quiet as my wife hears Everything! But here there was silence, best hotel stay we’ve had in years.
The pool was clean and quiet, the food area was a fully stocked kitchen and always clean!
Bed was comfy, proper blackout blind, aircon was good, laundry area was great, good shower and toiletries.
Would definitely recommend and would stay again!

The rooms are small and functionable. Fine for 1-2 person. They clean the rooms every few days so you have to be ok with that. There are shared fridges on the floor. Has a small pool and gym. There are common areas in the lobby where you can sit and work with convenient Starbucks dispenser machine and snacks for sale. Staff are friendly and relaxed, but not customer focused. There was a cleaner who was very hardworking, cleaning and dusting the lobby.

Enjoyed the hotel a lot! Room is a little small (compared to a standard hotel in the United States) but very clean and comfortable.

The hotel is also close to the MRT station and many bus routes, so it's easy to get around.

You can leave your luggage there on the day you check out after you check out which is also nice, especially if you have a late flight.

Crowds leans on the younger side. Very eco-conscious hotel with easy to use tv in the room. Room was bright and cozy with space saving structure. You could fit a decent amount of things on the shelves and under the bed without compromising visual comfort even though the room was quite small. I casted all my shows on the screen. The staff was friendly and helpful upon arrival. Portable charging bank for a fee at the lobby or you could just plug in an outlet. Also self service mini food and beverage area that you pay on your own at the lobby. MRT One North station was across the street. Very convenient for when it rains (which it did) because there are restaurant and hawker style food options… something for everyone at every price point at the (2-3?) Malls that are connected to the one north MRT station. Even if it rains you’d only get rained on while crossing 1 street. Other than that part there are outdoor awnings everywhere. There was also a bus stop out in front of the hotel.

New hotel so in very good condition, spotless with lots of handy facilities. Hardly heard anyone from my room even though I know others were staying on my floor. Pool was great! Literally across the street from the MRT. Only thing I’d add is a full length mirror in the room! Very good value for Singapore.

Wonderful stay. This place is hard to figure out without coming here. It’s kind of got the vibe as a mix of high end dorm and European hotel. Rooms are small, but everything you need and very cozy. Bed was super comfortable and shower was wonderful. Definitely recommend for this visiting NUS as this is across from the MTR (subway) and one stop north of the university.
