Michael and his team (including Wan Lee) did a great job handling my reservation. Michael very patiently helped me through the check-in process on my phone, which then helped me secure an early check-in around 12:30pm (I arrived around 9:30am). Bus line is right in front of the hotel, which is nice. Really only two negative things to know about this hotel. First, the walls are paper thin (so you can hear everything that happens in the hallway and tons of noises/voices from adjoining rooms, including their bathrooms). Second, the shower is in the toilet/sink room, with no divider. So the shower water sprays the whole bathroom (and the head doesn't really lower to a good angle). Other than that, great stay! House cleaning cleaned the room each day, which was much higher level of service than I'm used to. Thank you for a great first time in singapore!

On check in I was told they had to transfer me toa different hotel down the road. They promised the standard would be the same but after check in, it became clear that it was of much worse condition (also with a much cheaper price tag on Expedia). I tried to contact them multiple times through different ways but never heard back.

Disappointing

It is a budget hotel but I was disappointed. The bed was very uncomfortable. It felt like a box springs and the springs would dig into your side. I could never get the shower hot which was annoying. Also when we would walk in after being gone a day it would have a bad, almost sewage type smell to it. The room service was done late in the day like around 4 or one day as late as 5. I’d pay more money for somewhere else in the future.

Upon check in we was asked to go to Frangrance Seaview due to air con down in waterfront.

The Receptionist was very polite with a smile she appologise and explained to us.

Never go to Room 306, it is a terrible EXPERIENCE

I am living at Room 306. The air-conditioner is really loudy all nights long. There is even a small door between the room next to me, I can quietly walk into that room with no lock, which is unsafe for both of the customer. So terrible experience.

I chose to stay here because it is close to NUS. The staff was helpful. There were no windows in my room and sometimes it smelt quite bad inside the lift, corridor and inside the room. I could easily hear noises in the corridors and from other rooms.

The desk was a bit small - there was only enough space for us to put our phones for charging. There wasn't a specific area for showering - so the entire toilet would become wet.

No frills, comfortable hotel

Fuss-free, no frills hotel. Basic amenities available but no luxury. Bed was comfortable, interior design minimalistic and industrial-chic style. Surrounding area has a convenience store (7-11) and 24/7 food stores (try the cheese prata! ). Location a little out of the way (no mrt nearby) but there is a bus stop with quite a variety of buses.

I realised that there is a number of new staff, not sure if they aware of guest preference and the last stay the room floor was sticky n not enough toilet roll (finished after twice usage)

Very good though small rooms.

Very good hotel. Only issue might be the small size of the room which can make it crowded for two people. Location is a few steps from several bus lines allowing access to all points of the city though it may take time to reach them. The National university around the corner.

It our favourite hotel because it near to our workplace.Good Staff comfortable room only the last stay for 2nights we have to changed room because Double room was not availablr.hmmm

The new room we got abit strength because the floor damm, not sure due to aircon or something else. I feel it dangerous because guest can slip n fall.

room is rally small and staff were out front smoking but they are generally nice and helpful if needed

carpark really pathetic only 2 lots. the water was either scalding, freezing suddenly midway or warm but low pressure so showers were not enjoyable

Comfortable stay with small bath area

My hotel stay was comfortable, its window faced the road view 4th level.
The only thing dislike is the bathroom shower is very narrow space with water spray on the toilet seat.
Like is surroundings have lots of restaurants, foods is not the problem.

The room size is a little bit small but just only for sleep it is enough. The location is really good because it is nearly the public transportation point (bus and mrt). For me, if i am going to visit Singapore next time this hotel is still my choice.

Perfect for what I needed

The staff were very helpful - kept my bags while I was sightseeing and helped me with the buses. It's a simple hotel but the room was exactly what I needed. A large double bed and shower room. Tea, coffee and water all free in the room. Perfect for an overnight stay at a great price.

Very good for a budget hotel

Clean, a bit noisy as I was near the lift. Small room with a wet room en suite and although not luxurious had everything I needed for a 7 night stay. The staff were very friendly and most helpful. Great transport links - there was a bus stop right outside.

Easy basic hotel not far from the city

Friendly helpful staff! Rooms are a bit cosey but you have everything that you need. Easy access to the city via bus to the main train lines - very affordable transportation. Good restaurants close by and 7/11s for those little things.

Keep up the good service

Good job overall, but do appreciate if they sweep and mop the floor everyday.
Sheets was stained with period blood, but not that its your fault.
Overall had a pleasant stay with the great price.
Close to convenient store and eateries.
Walking distance from NUS 20-30 minutes depending on where you're heading.
Bus stop is just 2-3 minutes walk away.

I really can't think of anything nice to say about this place. It was kind of clean? Better than sleeping on the street? No bugs? I mean, the mattress was like a piece of cardboard. I had a horrible time sleeping here. One night? Okay. I stayed here four nights.

When I entered my room, I saw that there is no windows in the room. In the next day, I insisted on the subject and then my room was changed. The mirror , placed on the outer wall in the room looks like a window in the room when you see the room on the web site of the hotel.

Call a spade a spade.

Sad to say, if you cannot accept a candid review; why would you ask for one in the first place.

In my previous review of other hotels, I have been equally candid about these hotels and that is giving your other potential guest to this hotel a chance to decide of themselves whether they want to proceed to have the possible same experience.

Extremely bad experience with this hotel. Period!

Otherwise, there's no need for review. Call a spade a spade.

Bad Hotel Policy

I book it for a colleague. Firstly, I book through Hotel.com and somehow was rejected by the hotel 3 times for whatever reason I cannot fathom.
My Colleague complained that whenever he or his wife showers, the showers will get flooded and they requested for a room change. However, after viewing 2 other rooms and checking their showers, it also flood.
Twin beds are not really twin beds . It is a drawn out bed and if 1 party need to go to the restroom, 1 has to climb over the other party and probably wake the other person up.
Also be very careful when BOOKING this hotel, they WILL CHARGE you 1 night stay if you book for 4 nights and checks out after the 3rd. night. When this was brought up to the front desk, the staff or supervisor is totally useless in helping you. We had to resort to many phone calls to Hotel.com to resolve this issue. Only credit goes to their manager, Michael who graciously assisted for this policy to be cancelled. One does not need to go through such stress as it is not a international practice by hotels.
BE CAREFUL, that's all I have to say.

Modest cost with pleasant, and safe experience.

Considering the costs, I was very satisfied with my stay. Staff are very pleasant and helpful, all spoke very fluent English. Room is small but clean with private bathroom and shower with good and strong water supply, AC, TV, hair dryer, hot water boiler, and Tel. for local access. It is a quiet, and comfortable place for rest and sleep after a whole day of tour and visits, shopping and dining in Singapore.
Staff at the desk called taxi service as needed, and taxi arrived within less than 5 mins. Bus stop is in front of the hotel. Taxi fare is very affordable.
Some nice restaurants are available one block away from the hotel.
In summary, I was pleased with my experience in this hotel.

Friendly hotel, for the price

I was there for 19 nights since it is very close to NUS where I was working. Staffs are super friendly and willing to resolve any issues I could face. The only complain was their wifi signal strength. How to continue to work for my business. Room is small but I did not expect more for that price in Singapore. No breakfast was included, but there are lots of places you can take care of your morning food of snacks.
Over all, not a bad hotel if the price is good. But if you need strong wifi for your business, I would recommend others.

I reserved a hotel room in WaterFront actually. When I came to WaterFront, they told me that the AC was down. So they moved me to OceanView. The room is tiny, especially the bathroom. Like other reviews pointed out, there was almost no space for shower, so tiny. I also noticed some tiny blood on my bed sheet. The staff are very friendly. But you will notice something interesting if you pay attention to the people who were doing checking-in in the counter. WIFI is free, but the password is only valid for 24 hours. So I have to go down to the staff every 24 hours to get a new user name and password for WIFI. Also, the WIFI is for one device. If you log in using one device, then log out from this device and wanna have access to internet in another device, it does not work.

I had reservation at Waterfront. But when I arrived, the staff told me that their ACs were down right now. So she asked me if I could be flexible to go to OceanView, just at the opposite side of the street. Also, she asked me if I am OK for a room without window. So I decided to stay in OceanView. The room is very tiny. I also found a little blood on the sheet. The shower is almost on the toilet, which surprised me. The staff at the counter were very helpful and friendly. One thing I noticed is that a lot of couples coming to stay without any luggage. So I realized that this hotel may be a place for them to date and .....

A fine hotel located close to the university, which it ideal for visiting a friend who studies there. Nearest MRT station is a bus ride away, while there is a medium-sized supermarket just around the corner which could be very useful if required.

The hotel is really good. In front of the hotel there is a bus stop. So we can go anywhere easily. Across the street there are also 24 hour Malay Restaurant. Friendly staffs, good food and halal. Especially my children, they loved nasi goreng very much :-)
