Congratulations to the management and staff of Equarius Hotel, great job from the moment we arrived, staff were so attentive, helped us to unload our luggages, assist us to the check in counter, helping us to check in is a breeze… Handed a lollipop to my 2 years old granddaughter to keep her entertained is simply so thoughtful while we check in …what surprised us is the decoration in our room to celebrate our anniversary in so detailed, beautiful and amazing … Thank you so much for the hospitality and effort in making our staycation so memorable…

Being a 5 star hotel, one would expect a 5 star experience but reality sadly fell short.

We chose this hotel for our wedding honeymoon stay and added it in our remarks but the rooms had nothing special. Not even extra decorations.

When we were sleeping, our TV's sound bar suddenly blasted music at max volume multiple times. Scared us awake. Technician said it was because another guest had accidentally connected to it. We received no form of compensation or service recovery for this fright.

Their hairdryer was broken at the hinge, one of the room phones had no sound and you must take the shuttle bus to explore the area. It is not conveniently walkable. At least the shuttle bus interval was fast.

Roomkeeping staff didn't clean the hairs in the toilet and they replenished our caffeinated coffees with decaffeinated ones...

We didn't mind the lack of special experience at first, but all these issue started stacking up and our stay felt like an overpriced stay at an overrated hotel.

Their lobby staff were all very nice and helpful but their services elsewhere fell short. It's a pity.

Betty from Equarius hotel is wonderful.

We picked Equarius Hotel for my child school holiday vacation. Away from the buzz of the city but close to all the recreation around sentosa.
We stayed in the deluxe Garden room that comes with a huge balcony. The latter allows my child to play all sorts of outdoor games. For the same price elsewhere in singapore, the room will probably be one third the size of this.
A shuttle bus brings us around resort world sentosa compound. The outdoor pool is huge!

Special mention is Betty who made everything seamless and wonderful. She replied my email promptly regarding the check in process and went out of the way to ensure all our concerns were allayed numerous times during the stay.

Wonderful long weekend stay formiur family of four. Upon hering it was my birthday, the hotel staff went above and beyond to make it a special occasion. The location was perfect for access to Universal Studios, and the Waterpark is right next to the hotel. A special mention to Poppy and the concierge team, for the extra attention and treats for the kids. Highly recommended hotel!

Room was not property cleaned. After checked into the room, found candy wrapper on floor and contact lens from previous visitors.
Semi buffet was in a very sorry state and not worth a single cent being paid for.
Concierge staff not able to tell exact timing of shuttle service ( was told next bus coming in 12mins and decided to go for a walk around the compound but it came almost immediately after we walked off )
So much restrictions in pool usage that might as well don’t even allow your non-villa guests to use at all.
In fact there are so much of negative feedbacks that I would like to write but would summarised into a line
“Who so ever thinking of staying there, don’t bother. Save your time and money for somewhere else nicer”

Hotel is remotely located, but we enjoyed the quietness and shuttle bus service made moving around easy. All Staff were very friendly and helpful. Loved the room size and overall rooms were clean, but little details like dusting headboard, cleaning the hair off sofa could be improved.

I have requested to extend the check out to 12pm and they were ok with it however, when I came to the room, the key didnt work even though it was before 12pm. We had a toddler with us and the room was really far at the end it was a bit difficult for is to go down to just to get the key activated. If this was the case they should have told us in advance so we could activate it before we come up. And they asked to get water from water dispenser by our selves? We are paying more than 600 per night and we are not getting this kind of service? And breasfast so expensive but yet the quality is so poor

Great hotel, difficult to find if coming by foot.

Location a bit hard to find by foot, need to take a shuttle after a short walk from the monorail station. Google maps was a bit inaccurate. However, once you find the place. Great property. Secluded and quiet. The pool was empty. Downside food options limited aside from the hotel restaurant.

Peaceful family staycation over New Year's Eve

We booked a Garden Deluxe room. It was very spacious with lots of walking space even with an extra bed. While we expected a garden, we didn't realise the garden, bedroom and bathroom were pretty much the same size.

Our favourite part had to be the pool. It was nice and peaceful unlike many of the other pools on the island. Great for families with kids as the pool was uniformly at 1.2m.

Breakfast was either a set menu with side buffet onsite, or international buffet at Hard Rock.

Had a fabulous family time in Equarius Sentosa Hotel Suite for a few nights. Staff and service were wonderful.Front Office staff Megha even goes extra mile to arrange for an upgrade and arranged for room decorations surprise and designer chocolate when she learned it was my wife’s birthday. Beach villa pool is exquisite, large and private. A five star unforgettable experience. If there is room for improvement, just that some of the fittings are a little dated and there is not even one halal restaurant in the entire RWS Sentosa collection of hotel for the Muslim Guests.

We were first given two rooms with the air conditioning vents mouldy (one of them with water moisture). Luckily the room manager on duty was able to get us replacement rooms before our dinner appointment at 1900hrs.

No wow factor about the rooms except that its large. The hotel really needs to spend some time and money to renovate, as the rooms we were in looked old and deteriorated, definitely not worth 450 SGD a night for a room…!

Room is still dirty. There are glass pieces on the carpet of the room. We took the garden deluxe room and the room has a facing towards the forest. If we open the door, bugs will come in. Reception guest gave us a room that is last in the aisle despite knowing we have an infant with us and it can be inconvenient. Baby cot is not adjustable in height and very very old. Key card doesn’t work after 11am despite being informed of late check out. Overall, it’s a very disappointing stay. You could get a better experience with this price elsewhere.

First and last stay at RWS hotels

Disappointing experience with many hiccups in the service process. Was asked to provide guest details via email pre check-in but none of these were updated in the hotel’s records and I had to re-enter all these info when I checked in. Long queue for check-in via the automated check-in station which doesn’t even work properly. Hotel looks run-down and tired. They have a staff stationed at the walkway leading to rooms to check your NRIC each time you try to enter your room (I understand that these checks are because of Covid regulations, but I am sure there is a better way to do this then to make your guests feel like jailbirds). Breakfast was unimpressive and looks like something you expect from 3 stars hotel. Tried to book an extra slot for the swimming pool with the staff stationed at pool entrance, and was asked to go to concierge (at a diff building) to do the booking. Went to concierge and staff directed us to a QR code. Tried booking via QR code but wasn’t able to book for the slot we wanted. Asked the concierge again for help and was told that we cannot book the pool because check-out is at 11am (and this makes no sense to us because we were trying to book a 9am slot). After many rounds of haggling, finally managed to get a slot. Entire experience felt like what I had when I stayed at Genting First World Hotel some 15 years ago, except that I probably paid more than 10 times the price this round, at what I thought is a 5 star hotel.

Loved the hotel room. Huge room and toilet which kids loved.
Service was great too and staff were friendly.
Only thing was they didn’t have room service and somehow grab delivery only allowed until casino meaning only hotel equarius could not get grab delivery delivered. Other hotels before casino all could get grab delivery.
Tv and internet reception was spotty as well as kids complained on connection and tv hanged several times as well

Dislikes: Very far away from the lift.
Shuttle service is infrequent (15 mins).
Check in service is slow.
In room water/tea/coffee very very limited.
Express service for additional items took forever and tend to miss items.
TV in room in average condition

Room has used water pack on checking in and we almost consumed it unknowingly.
Spoilt shower gel container not replaced.
Slippery bath area. Anti slip is only 3/4 covered.
Overall housekeeping is not up to standard.

Room - is big and bathroom is even bigger. Beds are very comfortable. Location - not exactly convenient in that you have to take a buggy or shuttle to get to another point before you can get to the monorail etc. HOWEVER, because of that, makes this feel like you are really not in Singapore but in an overseas resort - quiet yet within reach of whatever you want be it food or shopping or other entertainment.

Size of the deluxe room was huge compared to other hotels and has a balcony. Recommended for families with kids. However, service was average and there were no nearby amenities except a Chinese restaurant in the hotel lobby and adventure cove. Have to take buggy/shuttle service on daily basis to rws for meals and activities. Hotel pool was great too.

Overall a good stay.

Hotel prepare a birthday chocolate with card for my boy. Room was spacious and big so my son have plenty of area to run around. The downside is that, the view is the forest and at night its super dark so it rarely utilised. A little run down for a 5 star with toilet bowl having some stain on it and the bathtub as well. The night we spend, water supply was down. Only hot water available and have to wait for technician to repair. But this kind of thing happens everywhere just our luck it happen on the time of our stay.

Very spacious room and bathtub.. everything is clean.. children has a wonderful time..

However, check in procedures could be improved.. there were no physical check-in available.. all are required to use the machine which had issues detecting and scanning IC and face etc..
took me >30 mins running between machine and seeking help to check in.. scheduled check in at 3pm+, and no room even at 5pm..

Pool is good, 1.2m depth throughout.. kids need supervision:.

Overall still a wonderful trip! 😊

Check in process took 1 hour.
It was a Thursday afternoon and the number of guests are not a lot. However I think the hotel reserved the 12-3pm slots for special offer guests while 3pm opens for everyone and there are only 3 counters to process for check in. By 5pm there were nobody waiting. I think the hotel should better manage the check in process to shorten the waiting time especially during non-peak days like a Thursday by informing the guest it is fine to come before 3pm, or release more slots online so that not everyone come at 3pm to wait for a long time. This is including many family checkins with young kids or infants. I felt sorry for one of the infant carrying father waiting in the line that he has to carry the baby to make him sleep while young kids from other families were running and screaming in the lobby.

Great short staycay & surprise for the husband!

Totally loved the stay here at Equarius Hotel. The room was deeply cleaned and sanitized and they pasted a sticker on the door to indicate that. When we opened the door, we were greeted by a birthday greeting for the husband. Thank you for the surprise! There were very few people staying at the hotel. We had the pool all to ourselves for a good 2hours. The bathtub was so big and inviting once you open the door of the bathroom. Breakfast was ok. However, time was too little. We had to check out at 11am. It would be great if we could stay a little later to check out since there was not many people. Will be back again when we have the chance!

Quiet and secluded - which was what we were looking for. Clean. Good service. A pity the hotel does not have its own gym facilities so we had to take a shuttle bus to hotel michael to use the gym. But the shuttle bus comes in 15 mins interval so it was fairly convenient. If I need to nit pick, it would be that it was not easy to locate the hotel. There weren’t clear signages to direct us to the hotel from RWS station.

Receptionist was rude and unhappy and did not accord us as customers the normal respect we deserve. We do not pay so much to be treated so rudely. Apart from her, the rest of the stay was wonderful.

Pleasant stay at RWS

The staff were friendly, room was spacious with a beautiful viewing looking over the sea and the other side of Singapore. Also, the room was clean and we love it. Indeed a pleasant stay at RWS!

Room was not properly cleaned when we check-in. The sofa was filled with hair, gross. Next day make up room was not properly cleaned as well. To think that during covid, rooms will be cleaner but nope, not at all.
Booked 3d2n stay and we were only given 2 parking coupon. It’s definitely not enough. Furthermore the restaurant is closed and in-room dining available. Driving out to get food would cost you $9/entry for fri-sun
Hotel should be more clear on the parking restrictions and not indicate as free parking if it’s limited. Wouldn’t stay here if we knew about the limited “free” parking.

Stay away...

Horrible service.
Hotel did not inform us beforehand that they had no food and beverage , especially at the poolside.
Travelling with kids so very difficult to manage.
Had I known I would not have stayed there

great space. nice environment. good service. arrival and check in experience amidst covid-19 climate was still largely satisfactory although there were some hiccups while checking-in.

even though the check-in time was by appointment basis amidst measures, I was still dished with the \"doing final maintenance checks for your room\". 10 mins became 15 more. waited for 25mins in total. in light of the situation (staff shortage, strict safety measures to adhere to, etc) it wasn't a huge issue for me.

what dipped my experience abit was despite being told that \"final maintenance checks had to be done\", I still got a room with a faulty bathtub.(water didn't fill even when the stopper was depressed) kinda drops the whole stay experience when you know you were assured a checked room and then still got a faulty one.

Posh property with huge rooms. Staff is friendly and helpful. Note though that the main Resorts World town square is not walkable from the hotel, although they provide a shuttle every half hour. I took a star off cleanliness as there was a dead bug in my room that the daily cleaning did not remove.

Large and clean room. Secluded area and quiet. Free shuttle bus to the main resort area for food and entertainment.

Waiting time for check-in and check-out is very long. That is the only drawback. They should expedite it.

Couple staycation

The stay was pleasant other than the following.
Check-in procedure was inefficient. We booked via hotels.com but staff was unable to find our confirmation no. in their system. Only to found out that their confirmation no. was from Expedia and could only tally with my name & IC.
The blanket was too thin, the thinnest blankets we had from all hotels visited before. It was just a thin piece of cloth & the first night was uncomfy. We requested for a second blanket on our second night and it was much better.
