Awesome place! Yes it’s Pet Friendly though it was not stated clearly in our booking reservation that it’s an extra surcharge well that’s not an issue for us. Hence they need to do better to state it upon confirmation of the booking.

Another annoying instance was the facility technician just came an announced and open our room without a gesture of knocking first nor a doorbell, that’s simply common sense. Totally unexpected a simple courtesy should be imposed/instilled by nature,

Otherwise everything could have been absolutely perfect and PAWFECT staycation for our little prince except this uncalled for incidents.

Beautiful property, pathways all alongside pretty ponds/waterways. The staff go above and beyond which makes this hotel really stand out. The rooms are large, clean and spacious. The bar is a lovely comfortable place to sit and enjoy a cocktail in the evening. The only negative thing I have to say about the whole hotel is that that the pool area is looking a bit tired, all it needs is to upgrade the sunbeds/cushions etc and it would get a 10/10.

Such a beautiful place to stay, the staff were so helpful and friendly and we felt so welcomed. The mini fridges in our rooms didnt work and one of the toilets was noisy and kept flushing throughout the night unless we banged on the flusher to stop it.
The free shuttle to and from Sentosa was amazing the drivers were always helpful.
Ww would definitely recommended Sofitel to friend's and family would stay there again if we come back to Singapore.

The check in staff did not inform us that breakfast is include . In fact, when I asked, was told that it’s not included . We were also not told that there’s a dining voucher included in the booking. We were told during check out. Thanks to Darren, the supervisor /manager who made alternative arrangements for us to utilise what we’ve missed. Although there’s this hiccup during our stay , it was all made up. Overall , happy with the stay!

We stayed over a bank holiday weekend and the hotel was clearly overbooked. We had to wait over an hour at the check-in desk to get our room key (only two desks were open), and then another 30 minutes the next morning just to get into breakfast. There were lots of empty food trays because the kitchen couldn’t cope with the number of guests. It’s a shame – the pool is nice, and the location by Tanjong Beach is lovely – but the owner and management team seem more focused on profit than guest comfort. Unlikely we’ll return.

Virkelig godt, men lidt skuffet.

Alt i alt et rigtigt fint ophold på et meget lækkert hotel. Særligt service niveauet hos medarbejderne er helt ekstremt højt og tilpasset perfekt…MEN…når man gerne vil være hotel med 5 stjerner og tage en høj pris, så skal incheck ikke tage så frygtelig lang tid, ligesom el-kedel skal virke, toilettet skal ikke løbe fordi knapperne sidder fast og småting som beholderne med shampoo/body-lotion skal være fyldt. Ved godt det er småting, men det er for dyrt til at sådanne ting ikke er i orden. Men som sagt var det overordnede indtryk rigtigt godt..

1. Front reception staff very overworked. Two to three staff, management needs to increase headcount especially on PH and eve of PH, they are unable to deliver the hospitality service that Sofitel stands for.
Management can clearly do more and better.
Also, front desk gentleman should understand that when I decided to speak with you in English i/o Mandarin, you should catch the drift and not continue to speak in the language that you are comfortable with.
Can definitely do better.

2. Room clearly very worn. Mattress exceptionally soft and very used and worn, didn't like it. Bathroom occasionally had sewage Smell.
Bathtub had water leaking out, not sure where it had come from but thankfully we didnt use it.
WC had no water bidet, very very backwards. Inexpensive yet they don't have it.
The mosaic tiles in the shower area had dislodged from the floor. Another example of poor maintenance.
The dolphin that was glued against the glass panel poorly done with the dry glue residue on the glass and no one bothers to fix it. Very unsightly and unsanitary.
It is still sticky, wonder what is housekeeping and the team doing.
The telephone to call room service is not wiped properly as there is saliva smell from the last user.
Honestly, these are basic things that can be fixed easily but the management not doing anything shows this is cashcow. Paying almost $600plus for this, nah, definitely not worth it. hospitality lacking. Room very very worn. HardandSoftware fail.

Amazing property located walking distance from the beach. Very peaceful, large spacious and well done up rooms. Room service is kind of slow but the size of the resort justifies for the delay.. checkin and checkout can be a little wait as they have only two desks helping the guests and sorting their share of issues.
I would definitely choose the same property during my next stay.

The hotel has definitely seen better days. Look closely and you start to see peeling wallpaper, water stains in rooms, indoor furniture worn and/or stained, mattress was definitely old and not flat. Outdoor furniture is just worn and dirty. Last, the food, the hotel is charging 5 star prices but delivering 2-3 star product. I spoke to the duty manager about my concerns and a he asked me to talk to the GM on his behalf…which is not my responsibility. I stayed at this hotel many times before it became a Sofitel, it was great then but is a total disappointment now. I think Sofitel is taking the piss out of customers. I do not recommend Sofitel Sentosa.

It's a terrible experience! The very first step into the hotel was shouted by the receptionist \"HOLD, HOLD, HOLD...........\" He was also using a hand gesture to push me back! There were no other guests in the reception desk, and I saw no reason for him to shout at me! Well, it happened that he was waiting for the prior guest to come back. A more polite gesture and explanation can help! I wonder if this is the way how they greet their guests. This was just the beginning! When I finished check-in, the reception sent us to the villa by car but forgot to give us the keys! The driver had to go back and get them. When we entered the villa, we realized that a construction site was just next to it. Machines operated loudly and we could hear workers talked to each other. Noisy and annoying! How can the guests relax and enjoy in a resort hotel like this??!! Facilities in the villa were all worn out. Not worth for a dime, definitely no return and highly not recommend.

Lovely hotel, tucked away on the quieter side of Sentosa Island. Warm and attentive staff. The fauna, style and decor of the hotel felt native to the island and we were rewarded with some interesting animal sightings including a family of otters.

We had a wonderful break. The staff were excellent and the buffet breakfast was outstanding (best bread pudding ever). The pool and surrounding area is lovely. There is some construction going on next to the hotel but this is not obvious and didn’t cause an real disturbance. We also enjoyed a very good meal at the golf club next door.

Check-in time was 3pm but the room wasn't ready till 6pm. I've also received an offer via email for an upgrade to a premium room of my choice if it were available on the day of check in, with the promise that I would retain my original room reservation at the same price if the upgrade was not available. On the day of the check-in, i was informed that there was no room available for upgrade. I was happy to stay in the original room that was booked. At the end of the stay however, I was surprised that the additional cost for upgrade was still charged to my credit. I informed the staff of the error and was told that the additional payment would be refunded to my credit card in a few days. That was not the case. I've contacted the customer service multiple times, and was told that the management would look into this, but nothing's been done.

No way to get proper food or snacks after 10 though they claim they have all day dining. Complete let down. Room was dusty and we had the junior suite. I booked a 4D3N stay with my doggy (3-6 Jun)

On 3 Jun, We reached at ard 1.30pm and Ms Ella helped me to checked in and procesed payment. We came back at 3pm, hoping to get our room key as we have planned for a family activity with other family members before our 6pm Father's day dinner, they purposely drove in for the family activity & dinner.

To our disappointment, we waited and only managed to get our room key before 5pm. We had no choice but to cancel our family activity. Great disappointment for the whole family.

Our 2nd disappointment kicks in when we were given a room with no air condition! And a drooping bedside reading lamp.

As the check in experience was extremely disappointing and frustrating, I had intention of checking out of hotel the next day. Much improvement is needed for check in process. This is the start of a guest's hotel stay experience and can leave a lasting impression.

It's the hotel staff who gave my family including my doggy a welcoming feeling through these 2 days.
Special mention to Le Bar staff, Mei, she was so warm and friendly with an excellent attitude.
Front desk Ms Ella was so apologetic and mentioned she went to \"beg\" housekeeping to get my room ready asap. Seems like she really tried her best. She gave us the option to check out late at 3pm. We didn't as not to create repercussion and caused the next guest to have the same unpleasant experience.

Overall we had a pleasant stay, the rooms were spacious and clean, bed was comfortable, and staff were very friendly and generally quite helpful. The check in process took forever (due to high occupancy rate) but the small enclosed room where the front desk was reeked of sweat and was pretty stuffy on a warm afternoon. The room was also too cold despite us setting the AC at 28 degrees, that we needed to turn the AC on and off a few times throughout the night. The towels were also rather malodorous - maybe due to the high occupancy rate and high towel turnover? Seemed like it was just next to the beach, but it was a decent walk down a few flights of stairs and along the road before you'd reach the beach.

Ideal place for quiet staycation. The place is beautiful.

Service was slow and staff came across as inexperienced. Lobby staff told me my room wasn’t ready at 3pm but he can’t promise me a timing and I should just wait for his phone call. Waiters kept informing me they weren’t the one on duty, he need to tell his colleague, need to go to the bar counter to pay etc. The concierge wasn’t sure whether the Cliff was pet-friendly… first said no, then said yes, and when we showed up, it turned out the main dining area wasn’t, and the area in front of the bar was, but only had bar bites and drinks. Scanning the QR code in the room to request for more water and pillows seemed like a redundant endeavour, since I had to call 45min later when nothing arrived (the person I spoke with didn’t seem to even have noted the online request). The pillow menu was also redundant cos I asked for an ergonomic pillow and a firm pillow and got two soft pillows.

In summary, impeccable hardware but incompetent software. I’d suggest more training in hospitality (impressions count ultimately), doing away with unnecessary shenanigans (why have a QR code in the room when clearly no one checks who orders anything), and simple enhancements that are sustainable (like since you went thru the trouble of putting together a furkid basket of goodies, why don’t just add a piece of paper detailing which eateries are pet-friendly or pet-friendly with conditions so that your concierge doesn’t need to scramble?)

Good resort style hotel that makes you feels relax

Very cosy n out of the town kind of resort. Very relaxing and feel like it's on an island on it's own. Quiet n peaceful at night. Rebec have a small pond with those dead skin eating fishes to soak my feet in. Love the big deep pool that comes with life jackets for kids as well as adults who can't swim. Even have swimming float and big swan inflatable to sit on. Love the sumptuous buffet breakfast with variety of food to choose from. We are greatly pampered.

A bit disappointed

The room was not ready as I expected with my request as the crib/cot for the baby. There was a leak in the sink and they repaired it at that time when we could be resting already and having service men in our room was uncomfortable. I thought they could have inspected the room before taking guests. Aircon is hard to adjust gets too cold in the room. Good thing the receptionist and hotel staff around are all friendly and food is great for room service and the breakfast buffet too. Could be better as I’ve stayed in Sofitel US, Thailand, Cambodia and the Philippines.

Good choice for a family vacation. It is in a quiet corner of Sentosa Island, has all the facilities you needed for a staycation. There are free shuttle buses or island buses to go to other attractions, alternatively, relaxing at the pool area or the bar is good enough. We can wake up in the morning with Peacock wandering in the garden, fantastic experience.

Waited 1.5 hrs to get our room. We were given free drink at Le Bar while waiting. The resort is very beautiful and quite well-maintained. My kids love the fish spa, the pool (not for small kids though as it is 1.4 to 2.5m deep) and table tennis game. The buffet breakfast is good, with a variety of choices. Had a enjoyable stay despite the long wait to get our room. Managed to get only a 30min late checkout. Hope the hotel can do better to let guests check in on time so that we have more time to enjoy the room and facilities.

Overall, the hotel was a great hotel. Swimming pool is 2.5 meters depth not suitable for kids but great for adults. Has outside stairs connected to 2 different beaches and my family loved it. Only regret was Italian restaurant waiter not very professional when serving dishes.

The hotel is very nice, but unfortunately the staff is not on the same level. I seems that the hotel has recruited untrained service staff. Let’s hope that they will soon meet the standards one expects in a place like that

Family Staycay.

Can see the hotel was a bit dated but efforts were taken to refurbish it. Staff were helpful in helping us change rooms. Some rooms don't see much sunlight and can feel a bit musty while others have a better view/feel. Pool was nice with the Italian restaurant just beside it. Location of spa was a bit far and they don't allow kids.

Old, tired, over priced.

Never again. For the price paid, (SG$1k+ per night) this was really poor. Rooms are really dated, dark (no windows in the main room if the suite). Feels like an 80s style bunker. Towels are old then and frayed. Service was very average, food options are limited (no healthy options - all pizza pasta or fried food). Couldn't get a table at the restaurant so had to eat at the bar which ha slinited manu and ONLY 1 RED WINE option on the menu. 5 star resort and 5 star price, and the bar only has 1 wine on the menu. If this was a $300 a night hotel it would be fine - but for the price paid I expect so much more.

Other than a couple of individuals (the porter at the beginning, nice older gentleman, and the maître d’ at breakfast, unfortunately haven’t remembered either name) poor service from beginning to end. Didn’t have the rooms requested at booking time, took them almost 2 hours to find connecting rooms which overlooked construction site which they said didn’t work at the weekend (it did) generally unhelpful given it’s a “5 star” hotel. Waiting staff at breakfast were dreadful, think they been picked up off the street that morning. Had to continually ask for creamer to be replenished, bath mats to be returned and (luckily on final day) air con in the kids room packed up! Pool was fun but will never stay at a Sofitel again.
