The room was unwelcoming. Heat wasn't on. Very poor quality workmanship on pretty much everything. Tv was really small. Remote hardly worked. No closet. No pictures or anything to decorate it; make it homey.
The bed was comfortable.
Close to McMaster.
You get what you pay for i guess. The pictures online looked nicer.
Buyer beware.

Great stay overall! Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. I really appreciated the free on-site parking and reliable Wi-Fi. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with a mini fridge and microwave, which made things very convenient. The bed was super comfortable, and I had a great night’s sleep. The location is also a plus—close to walking trails and plenty of amenities. I would definitely stay here again!

I didn’t even stay. Dirty room… ignorant staff. Door didn’t lock and didn’t feel safe. Kept my belongings in my locked car and never even touched the dirty bed. Left after a couple hours and found a different hotel. Horrible experience. Staff acted like I was wrong to wonder why my room door didn’t lock. As two females in a new city coming for an event, our safety was disregarded. I’ll never go near there again.

On the first night I found toenail clippings on my covers. My door was left unlocked by the cleaning staff twice. Afterwards I could not trust that my luggage was secure in the room. My dad’s room had damaged on the frame where the door had been kicked in previously.The shower was covered in mold around the sealant. There is also a strange smell in the hallway the whole time I was there. The doors are all very loose in their frames. Everytime someone opens or closes a door, all of the doors bang on their hinges. The staff was very condescending when I checked in as if I was wasting her time.

On the last night, there was an individual in the hallway at 11pm yelling on his phone and banging his door. The staff person on duty addressed the person but the individual continued to yell and slam his door claiming “I just worked 15 hours, I don’t want to be quiet.” 30 minutes later he was in the hallways again being disruptive, slamming doors and yelling. This happened again at 1am. Nothing was done. There was no answers at the front desk phone during the second or third incident.

Parking was “assigned” my first day but there were people who live at this location using it instead.

I would not recommend this hotel at all and regret spending the money for two rooms for the weekend. Was not worth the price.

The staff were very nice! We had no problem checking in/out, but we would kindly recommend that you have feminine hygiene products as amenities, and maybe some water in the fridge. We had to order these things separately. The bed was very comfortable and we slept well. Overall solid experience.

Just wish there was a bit more closet space to hang clothes other than hanger on front door. Overall great experience

We booked our stay in advance, but on the day of check-in we received a message from the property stating that our reservation had been canceled. When we reached out for clarification, the property advised us not to come. After contacting Expedia, they reinstated our booking as an exception, on the condition that we not leave a negative review. Upon arrival, we were placed in a recently renovated room, but the toilet was broken. Unfortunately, the entire experience was very disappointing.

Rooms felt unsafe and smelt unclean. The door to our room only had one working lock and every noise in the hallway sounded like it was inside our room. The blankets were stained and the staff were abrasive. I would only recommend this hotel if you are in a pinch and need a last minute place to stay.

The furniture was very broken. There was half done repairs in the room and inadequate materials used to do repairs. The door was very difficult to lock the state of disrepair in the room did not make me feel comfortable or that the place was actually clean. There was feces on the toilet bowl. The heat did not work in the room and I slept with my coat on.

Make sure the hotel refunds your credit card deposit.
Hotel kept my deposit until I called the hotel 1 week after I left. Once on the phone, the hotel lady asked for my credit card 3 digit code claiming she needed it in order to \"cancel the transaction.\" Which is not true! Not proper.

I enjoyed my stay here and would definitely come back again. It is close to a nice neighborhood with restaurants and bars and even a park with waterfalls for hiking. It was affordable but it was not exactly quality room. My room could use some upkeep with some of the trim that was taken off where there was a water leak in the bathroom and the bathroom in general could use a makeover. But still the bed was comfortable and the blankets were clean and I did not feel like this was a divey place. I didn't spend much so I didn't expect much but I will say that the people who check me in were very nice and I felt comfortable and at ease right away. For the money as long as you have realistic expectations this is good bang for your buck.

Although the staff seemed to try their best to keep things clean, the room still felt quite dirty and unpleasant to look at. There were hairs in the bed, the furniture was mismatched and very outdated, and the overall condition felt run-down. The lock on the door did not seem very secure, and the limited renos appeared cheap. The security deposit was higher than the actual room cost, which was surprising. The pillow had a very strong perfume smell, and the lady at the front desk wasn’t particularly friendly or welcoming. Unfortunately, I would not recommend staying here. We paid $80. So you get what you pay for.
