Breakfast was awesome! Staff were fantastic, very happy with my stay and would definitely stay there again!
Natalie
The properties parking underground was very limited. Not enough disabled spots (only 2). The temp parking for when you check in is very hard to get to, especially with the construction and crossing over 3 lanes of traffic on a busy street.
Loved how secure the building was where random people without room keys cannot get into underground parking!

Leilani
Honestly the pillows were so comfortable and cooling Icould have slept for ages!
Kerri
Lovely room. Free breakfast was a bonus. Very basic but the coffee was good. We would definitely return to this hotel if we found ourselves in Hamilton again.
Angelica
Staff was very friendly and helpful, room was clean! Didn’t use the pool because it was full but it was definitely there. Didn’t get to enjoy the breakfast cause we left early but it smelled great. Would stay again. My only complaint is the lack of teen titans go that played on the TV, otherwise 5 stars ⭐️
Donna
Again clean room, not surprised as I read the reviews stating cleanliness before booking. Have found these reviews helpful when looking for a clean place. Friendly staff and a great restaurant a couple blocks away with many vegan options. Good breakfast too with nice gluten free options.
Karla Jimena

Faith
Clean room, friendly staff, nice breakfast lounge and great walking distance to the TD coliseum.
Donna
Everything was good we were there for a wedding and they accommodated us close to each other’s room.
Jessica
Beautiful, clean and friendly. The pool was a great temperature. The rooms were modern and spacious. Breakfast was delicious.
Grant
Check-in was straightforward and amenities offered was quite nice including the gym and pool with towels. The room itself was well maintained and lots of charging ports for electronics. He was a nice touch to have free eliminated coffee in the lobby. The breakfast in the morning was also quite nice although I would’ve preferred bacon over sausage but that is a minor detail.
One suggestion would be to allow people to keep their cars parked until 2 or 3 PM the day of checkout so they aren’t rushed if they want to do some exploring locally before heading out. I understand that you need to make room for people checking in but check-in is at 3 PM, I don’t think they would be taking up room in the parking lot.

Staff was nice, respectful and answered all of our questions and gave assistance when needed. Although it was busy during the check-in time, the front staff did their best to provide support as quickly and efficiently as possible. All areas of the hotel were clean, including elevators, hallways, parking garage, and pool. This made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We will happily return.

Just clarify parking spot is not free and must to be paid by the client.
Linda
Great place for a short stay. Clean, updated and comfy beds. Neighborhood is easy to navigate and restaurants are a short distance to walk.
Kyle
This place is great. I always feel comfortable.
Had a very important meeting once while staying there. I ironed my shirt with their iron and rust came out of the iron. The staff reacted very well. Took my shirt and were able to get the rust stains out of the shirt.

We had a great stay. The hotel was clean and well maintained. The breakfast was nice, and the amenities were excellent, including the pool, on-site laundry facilities, and convenient parking. The staff in the breakfast area were especially friendly and welcoming.
James
The parking garage had access to separate elevators..one took me to a building under construction...so I was literally in a condo being built because I took the closest parking and it was the closest elevator
Jean
Hampton Inn consistently provides a comfortable stay. The room had comfortable furnishings, was spotlessly clean. Hotel staff were helpful, friendly, efficient. Breakfast offerings were very good. Parking is in an underground garage, with key access after check in.
Karen
Beautiful rooms great continental breakfast.
Carl
Clean rooms, good bed and sheets and friendly staff. Just need to get rid of all the single use plastic at breakfast
carol
The staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean, comfortable bed and climate controlled.

John at front desk was amazing. He offered us towels upon arrival during a storm. Upgraded our room to a corner suit, overall went above and beyond!!! Hotel location is great, good restaurants and cafes just down the street. Will stay here again if we ever return to Hamilton
Iqbal
Room was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.

Was a decent, clean, budget friendly hotel. Breakfast was good. Underground parking was great. Pool was nice, clean and warm. Fitness center looked nice, I just didn't have time to use it.

As I live in Montreal I only speak French and the receptionist was unfriendly when I told her that she did not speak English and at no time did she intend to help me with the language, also the hotel breakfast is the worst of all I have stayed, I do not recommend them.
Steven
Positives: Nice room, quite large. Property is well maintained. Staff are pleasant and professional.
Negatives: No laptop safe in the room as billed. Area around the hotel not the best. Temporary parking for check-in almost nonexistent and the parking garage can only be accessed with your room card.

Our 6th floor room was quiet with little traffic noise. The room had plenty of outlets and recharge outlets. We didn't make use of the microwave or TV but the mini fridge was very useful. There was a nice selection for breakfast and the staff kept the omelet dish full. Our only concern was the parking as the basement seemed to be under repair or cleaning with many signs saying where we couldn't park but none where we could. Scaffolding made navigating, even in our small car, sometimes challenging. All in all a good experience and we would choose this site again.

Room is clean, the bed is great and my sleeping is perfect. Staff is alway friendly. Hot Breakfast is good and a lot nice space to sit. Don't have time to used the pool. Parking indergound connect with hotel is 20$/day, but i feel safe when i got late at night.

We booked a room with 2 queens, but at check in they only had a king w/ a pull out available which wasn't ideal, but fine. However, both the pull out and king bed were so uncomfortable. Springs were up in our backs and it was so hard- we had to lay our clothes on the beds as extra cushion. Breakfast was good, staff were lovely, location was good for our stay. I'd stay again if we had tickets to TD Coliseum, but wouldn't recommend besides that.
Christine
The hotel itself was OK—not as nice as other Hampton Inn properties and seen better days, but OK—and the staff was fine, but the neighborhood was a no-go for us. Clearly drug issues in the immediate area. We didn’t feel safe walking around with our kid and I wouldn’t have felt safe going for a run by myself so we checked out without staying the night and headed back closer to Toronto.
Sharon
Very clean , kind staff, breakfast wasn’t amazing but had a variety of items
Ana

Very lovely experience

The staff at the front desk were excellent in arranging for taxi pick up. The breakfast fare was rather underwhelming. I am also not a fan of having maid service every other day. This is touted as a move toward minimizing environmental impact, but in effect it deprives staff the opportunity to earn more or to have more staff hired. As it was, the shampoo dispenser was empty after the first day and was not refilled during my 4-day stay.
Wayne
This Hampton Inn was a disappointment
Yuri
everything was very good!
Theresa
Very clean, quiet. Nice room. Great staff. Excellent location for restaurants. Staff check in by txt to see who you are. Front desk staff are wonderful.
Michael
Pool was great. Really good for kids. Breakfast was a nice add on.
Yolande
Breakfast is always excellent. Staff very helpful and pleasant. The carpeting in our room was very uneven, as in bumpy. It was not safe as one of us is limited in mobility.
Parking was great.
Parking was great.

Excellent Stay the complimentary breakfast wasn’t great, but that’s to be expected. Definitely worth the visit.

Friendly staff everywhere. Great breakfast. Spotless room and bathroom. Could have used firmer pillows but might have been the best hotel experience we’ve had.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the hotel was very clean. A few minor points to mention: slippers and toothpaste were not provided, water bottles were not available in the room. Overall, I had a pleasant experience.

They had a planned power outage from 11:00 - 4:30am. We asked what that ment and was told it would not affect us. Well it did power was completely out. I am traveling with my special needs daughter who uses a sleeping machine and who’s CPTSD is triggered by power outages. If we had been told ahead of time we would have made other decisions.
Nadia
Very clean and confortable stay.
Robyn
Clean room, helpful staff and breakfast was decent. Would stay again.

Stayed 1 night to go to a concert - awesome location, close to TD coliseum and walking distance to GO train . Room was updated and clean. Continental breakfast was small but had good selection and was decent overall. Would definitely stay again If i need to go to Hamilton.

Staff was lovely and the room was in great shape. Very clean. Convenient location with a bus stop for the 11 line right across the street. Breakfast options were a bit basic, but all fresh! I had an excellent stay overall.

Stayed with my boyfriend at this hotel for a concert at TD Coliseum. We stayed just for 2 days/1 night but left very satisfied.
From the start it was a great experience - we arrived about 15 minutes before the scheduled check in at 3PM but we were luckily able to check in early since our room was ready for us.
We had booked a single king bed room and it was super comfortable. We also found ourselves a bit chilly during the night but the heating was very easy to figure out.
The washroom was quite clean as well. The shower was probably as clean as they could get (there were some marking on the bottom of the tub but they seemed to be the kind that appear when being used frequently) and there were lots of towels of different sizes. I had brought my own hair tools but they do provide a hair dryer.
The only thing that I think could’ve been improved in the room was the TV - I really wish they had a smart TV so we could connect to either Youtube or Netflix. We did go through the cable channels but a lot of the channels we might’ve been interested in were not available which was a bummer but not a deal breaker by any means.
Breakfast was pleasant and easy to navigate. They had sausage patties, scrambled eggs, and a waffle/pancake station where you can cook using their batter.
Also super close to the bus stop. Was able to get on our GO bus just outside the hotel and around the corner - so convenient!
Will stay here for our next concert in August!!
