This is not a place to stay or sleep!!! This is a scam!!! Just a horrible place and all!!!
Eliza
Stayed in the Beasley room for the night and it was exactly what we needed. Located in a lovely heritage building, the room and house is full of character. Super comfy and clean, both the room and common areas were very well kept. There are multiple well stocked washrooms and the kitchen looked recently installed or renovated. The staff was present, kind, and helpful. Would come back in a heartbeat!
Linda
No, the microwave was not working, which was an older type of unit to start.
Charleen
Quiet place, easy check-in, the host was friendly and helpful
Aaron
Attentive staff, clean facilities
Aaron
Extremely courteous staff, clean and quiet rooms
Aaron
The rooms are clean, tidy, have extra blankets, and the house itself is well looked after. The location is ideal for our purposes as we attend sporting events regularly in Hamilton and it is close to where we want to be.
Aaron
Staff are friendly and courteous, the rooms are clean and warm.
Koji
The staff was fine, I was just taken aback at how clearly it was just a converted single-family house. The soundproofing was basically nonexistent
Mike
Reasonably priced hostel, an excellent choice for people traveling on a budget like myself.
Nicolas
I had a nice one night stay. The place is very well kept and the kitchen is properly maintained.
Lley Ray
Kitchen was great. Very clean. Everyone in the hospital was respectful of one another. I didn't bring my pet but something tells me she probably would have been welcome. The staff, the staff was great the owners are great. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to stay in a nice clean quiet place that is inexpensive and yet very Central and possesses all the amenities one could want. Down to earth people.
Dahlia
Very good spot
Audrey
Had the private room on the bottom floor. Comfortable, quiet, and homey. The room was surprisingly large. I was given a tour at check in, and everyone there was very kind.
Vanessa

Lovely historic building with lots of character. Clean bright bathroom facilities and bonus coffee/tea/cereal/milk provided in the kitchen. Would definitely stay again.
Julia
The Pring Guesthouse is a warm and welcoming, extremely clean house with lots of fun little extras including a full kitchen, free cereal and treats, a bookcase full of board games, and tv and books for entertainment. There’s lots of fun maps and brochures about the Hamilton area. The hosts were very kind and welcoming and helpful and the hostel is quite charming and affordable. I would stay again. Thank you Pring Guesthouse!
Thomas
The property and staff itself are amazing but it is located on one of the most dangerous intersections in Hamilton. Absolutely worth the stay but just be careful of the area.
Wafiq
I loved the coziness of the house, the concierge was very nice and polite and there were friendly people staying at the house as well.

I appreciated the comfort of my guestroom, with it's generously sized bed and other furniture. The features allowed easy storage and retrieval of my travel possessions. The kitchen was large and well- equipped for preparing meals as one would at home; the bathroom was spotless, and possessed modern hardware features and well sorted, abundant grooming supplies essential to my requirements. The comprehensive and well laid out amenities in all spaces enabled satisfying rest and thorough and snappy preparation the next morning.I ended my stay invigorated and grateful not only for the quality of my accommodation, but also for the friendly service offered at all times during my stay.
Anna
Great place for a quick stay
Super cute place close to downtown. Breakfast was included too! It was a small room and smelled a little moldy but other than that very happy with the stay!
Celina
Owner was very welcoming, easy to check-in!
James

Maxwell

Xinyang
Amazing place to stay! Quiet, safe, clean, home-like, and the hosts are super sweet. The house deco has character and feels very welcoming. The only thing is the upper bunk I had was a little squeaky...but no biggie. I enjoyed my time here and will come back when I visit Hamilton again.
Jen
Loved the historic home! Quiet, quaint, low-key, comfy vibes. Openly queer safe/friendly, walkable to the city center.

This is an awesome, safe and affordable option in Hamilton. You will be greeted and welcomed at the door and made feel very welcome. I travel with a bicycle and they offer a secure bike shed. Very clean, very classic and well organized to make a quest stay super enjoyable. (I have stayed twice with the same happy experience :)
Kent
My second visit was just as lovely as the first. Guests in the mixed dorm were quiet and respectful. The guesthouse is so economical, I would call it no-frills, except the hosts generously provide lots of amenities like laundry facilities, toiletries, extra linens, breakfast food, pantry staples, a computer with printer, board games - even sunscreen, which was very welcome during July. The house was clean and tidy, with the charm of a historic property. Lots of restaurants in the area at all price points, a short walk to downtown, and fantastic bus access. Some reviews called the neighbourhood scary. It's true that there are unhoused people on Mary Street south of the guesthouse, but they minded their business and I minded mine. The property borders a major, well-lit road, and is protected by passcode locks. Thanks again for going above and beyond, and I'll be happy to return on my next visit to Hamilton.
Peter
Verypleasant and friendly staff

Weekend stay
I stayed in the mixed dormitory. It was clean and those who were there were very quiet and respectful. The owners were very kind. There were several bathrooms to utilize. I appreciated having cleaning products on hand in the restroom.
Nipuni

Allison
A good place for anight's rest.
Comfortable room and bed, good amenities.
Thomas
I was staying in Hamilton, because I was running around the bay. The location was with in walking distance to the start/finish line.
Justin
Adorable house, and my room was supurb. Way betterbthan a hostel, and more character than a hotel. Perfect price, and don't let anyone tell you hamilton doesnt have charm.
Gabriel
Very clean, well kept property. Truly reminds me of the hostels I’ve visited overseas, great little spot and will be my go to every time i visit Hamilton.
Niki
What a treasure. I’ve never stayed at a hostel, and I’m hooked. Very welcoming, they covered all the bases, and I felt very safe and comfy. A really easy walk to the Hamilton general Hospital, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND staying here! Very affordable and worth every penny! Thank you for being great hosts!
Katherine
Absolutely gorgeous and very welcoming of LGBTQ guests. Very student oriented.

Guesthouse in the heart of Hamilton
Comfortable, clean, secure, and well-run guesthouse in the centre of Hamilton. Check-in was easy, and the house was full of useful amenities. Look forward to staying again on my next trip to Hamilton.
Peter
Very beautiful guest house, very accommodating and helpful staff. Highly recommend for any visitor to Hamilton.
RAKESH
Perfect for my needs to go to first Ontario centre without breaking the bank and very walkable, would stay again for sure,
Abdelmoujib
Wonderful service
Luke
A very nice place to stay, with well-maintained amenities in a cozy (and a little bit fancy) old house. The neighborhood looks a little sketchy, but I suppose that helps keep the price down. Homey atmosphere inside.
Sheila
Such incredible value and a lovely warm welcome despite my being almost an hour behind schedule. Facilities are basic but plentiful and \"hit the spot\". No soundproofing so inconsiderate fellow travelers might be an issue if you were unlucky. I certainly wasnt!
Thomas
Awesome accomodations, perfect location for night a night out and for team members to rest before our races. Five minutes from the lake.
Jeong-hun
Awesome
Everything was exceed my expectation. I enjoyed staying there and definitely going back.
Edited
Great experience! Loved the style of the house and it had so many amenities. Very quiet house and would recommend!
Thomas
Charming
The host was lovely and very helpful. The house was well over one hundred years old and was at one time magnificent. Now, though not pristine anymore, is historical and very adequate.
We are very happy we stayed there.
We are very happy we stayed there.
Reefat
Friendly and homely with a nice staff. The neighborhood is a bit scary.
Jamie
Lovely Host. Easy Check in and thorough tour. I think its best suited as an inexpensive longer term option.
Dave
The guests and staff were respectful of each other's personal property, building property, privacy, and respect. The property amenities were well maintained with all sorts of complimentary kitchen hardware available and we'll maintained bathroom and shared areas. The furniture is old but fully functional. I took advantage of the Wifi but not the computer or printer and free to use. There was cable TV with the TV being old but functional included but not mentioned in the entertainment available in the property description. I had no complaints especially because I didn't have a car to park. The daily charge for shared accommodation definitely was attractive with exception being snoring but tolerable. I would definitely consider going there again.
Vivian
Beautiful private room, shared washrooms are clean, staff are friendly. Great accommodations at a good price!!!
Joan
Convenient location & stay
The owners try to provide anything you might need, including free access to the laundry machine & dryer. If there's anything that's missing, just let them know as they're very friendly and responsive. They provide face masks & plenty of hand sanitizers, but air circulation in the basement could be improved. The walls are thin, so you will hear the other occupants going about their business. Since my room was next to the kitchen, I heard the microwave every time. The neighbourhood is in the rougher part of town with several social assistance agencies in the surrounding area, but I was never harassed by anyone.
Brian
a great way to see Hamilton ON
I had an excellent time - very close to downtown- very friendly and accommodating staff (they held my luggage so I could explore more as i did not have a car) the guests were also fun to talk to - I reserved a private room, still very economical. The house is clean and very historic (from 1855) this was the best hostel I've stayed in twenty years. Free food was an ice unexpected touch and good for people traveling on a tight budget.
??
A very classic building built in the 1850s. friendly owner. quiet environment. perfect preparation. wide space. low cost
Kay
The room was very clean and checking in and out was very easy. The shuttle to the airport was also on time
