The room could’ve been cleaner as there was hairs on the bedding, and the bathroom fan was very full of dust and debris. Carpets need to be replaced with lots of stains, but overall everything else was quite clean and the staff (especially the breakfast. Staff) are very friendly.

The staff need to be more professional. I had an awkward experience that did not make a good impression on me nor my partner. The staff was handling a difficult customer ahead of me, but their incapacity to correctly handle that difficult customer, to say the least was disappointing. The staff member had become alarmingly irate with that particular difficult customer, very unprofessional. Adding to the already convoluted spectacle, after re-entering the lobby with my luggage, the manager, incorrectly assumed that I was the difficult customer that her staff was dealing with earlier. This was an incredulous experience that has left a bitter memory regarding this establishment. To the hotel management, please train your staff on how to handle difficult customers and train your manager to properly identify difficult situations without jumping to conclusions and assumptions. I shouldn't have to tell you how to do your job.

We were disappointed that the pool was closed and we were not notified. The TV wouldn't work and we called for assistance and they never came. Our sheets had stains on them. The location is lovely, but our experience was less than ideal.

I found the staff to be extremely helpful. The property was clean and quiet. I was surprised to learn that we had to pay 20 dollars a night extra for parking and that \"access to plug-in\" for electric or hybrid vehicles meant that we could drive down the street and pay for parking in a public lot. Misleading. Also, there were few electrical outlets in the room and no overhead light. The room was rather dark.

Hotel view was beautiful and the room was comfortable and surprisingly quiet.

The room had a lot of things that needed to be fixed and our check in wasn't the greatest.

The room wasnt ready at check in time which was completely fine and were asked to wait about 5 minutes which we were okay with. We waited nearly 15 mins and asked again as we had to leave for a specific time.
(during the wait the employees were arguing it was a little uncomfortable)

We asked if our room was ready the agent had no idea and we continued to wait, we were going to ask to leave our items and have them put it in our room as we were running out of time but after alot of confusion they spoke to someone who I believe was a room attendant supervisor who said the room has been ready and they called it down but we weren't informed.

We would definitely stay again, the hotel is nice and the room suit our needs however im hoping the employees arent as argumentative with eachtoher as it was a bit awkward.

Stay away!! I did not feel safe, front desk staff made me feel so uncomfortable and unsafe! If I could give zero stars I would. I'm writing this review after midnight while at the hotel because I cannot sleep and feel threatened.

I had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. I paid for parking but still received a ticket during my stay. When I brought this to the front desk’s attention, I was told it was due to an alleged error on the vehicle information sheet I was asked to fill out — they claimed I wrote a “9” instead of a “4” for my license plate. I can understand how a “4” might have been misread as a “9,” but if there was any uncertainty, this could have easily been clarified.

What was most concerning was how the situation was handled. Instead of a simple apology or effort to resolve the issue, the staff member I spoke with, Estaban, was dismissive and insisted I was at fault. I would have been completely satisfied if they had simply acknowledged the misunderstanding and apologized so we could move on.

I later spoke with a manager, who advised that they were not directly responsible for parking tickets but said they would email the appropriate party and follow up with me. I did not receive any follow-up. Expedia also said they would follow up but never heard back for a refund. Staff members were rude and yelled at me I felt unsafe

We’ve stayed here every year for dance and it has always been a great hotel. Clean, convenient location. My only complaint is the breakfast selection. Food wasn’t great and not much selection. Also, with having very early morning starts it would have been nice if they opened on time during the weekends.

I booked my room through Expedia and the hotel had no record of it in their system when I arrived to check-in. They had to log in through a different system and then luckily they still had a room available. The room had not been fully cleaned - there was a blue ring of soap on the edge of the bath and a huge dot of some sort of cream or something on the desk. When I went to leave I was also issued a $120 parking ticket and when I presented this to the staff at the front desk she checked the paperwork and the staff when I checked in mis-typed it into their system so now I am left to follow-up on them “fixing” their issue. I do not recommend this hotel - this has been a nightmare to stay at this hotel. Last year they used my credit card for fraud and bought a flight and now issues again. Just awful.

We mentioned this at the front desk at 5:00pm but were told the cleaning staff had gone home. Disappointing overall considering what we paid for our room. The location of the hotel is the only positive thing about our stay.

I had a pleasant stay at the Waterfront Hotel in Burlington. The location is excellent, right by the lake, with beautiful views and easy access to nearby restaurants and walking trails. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay. Overall, a relaxing experience and I would consider staying here again.

This hotel offers patients who are having surgery or visiting the hospital discounts on their stay make sure you check in directly with the hotel or ask Expedia to reduce the rate that is posted if you are in fact doing a hospital stay. I am asking that Expedia refund some of our money to reflect that discount

Honestly, for the price, this place delivers. The room was in good condition, and the mattress was surprisingly comfortable — I had a solid night’s sleep.

Simple setup, nothing fancy, but it gets the job done. If you’re looking for something affordable and decent, this is a good option.

The property is in such a great location, right on the water and within walking distance to absolutely everything!!

A very good hotel. Would stay again. Asked for lake view room and no problem. Lots of restaurant choices within a short walk. Downtown is clean, safe and upscale. Despite what all the signs say, paid parking at $20 per days can be charged to your room. Restaurant onsite but didnt try it. Reviews were not great. Room was large, with sofa and workspace. Bed was comfy.

It is a public paid lot that you pay an additional $22 at the hotel
Unfortunately it is not guaranteed
We stayed on a Thursday and were forced to drive around and around waiting for someone to leave and then had to use another lot roughly three blocks away and pay $10 more
Then we had to move our vehicle later when space was available late at night
Not convenient at all

We always stay here when visiting family in Burlington--probably twice per year for the last 8 years. This hotel has consistently improved. The renovations have provided a lovely, modern hotel and it is consistently squeaky clean. The staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. Our kids love the pool (the the parents wish it was a bit warmer). Thank you again for the lovely and welcoming stay.

Upon entrance to the hotel we immediately noticed how beautiful it was. Very clean, nicely decorated. Staff was lovely to deal with. The location of the hotel is perfect as it is easy to get to from the highway and it’s near the downtown core but overlooking the lake. We were able to take a walk along the waterside just beside the hotel where there is also a beautiful park. In addition, the restaurant located in the hotel was superb! Good food and great prices! We will definitely be back!

We were advised at check in that we could potentially have a late check out free of charge or pay to extend a few hours but would need to book in the morning. In the morning we were advised that the manager was not in until after 10am and we would have to wait until then. We book this hotel every year for a race and this is the first rime it had been a problem. The race started before 10am therfore we could not speak with the manager

The hotel room was filthy with chewing gum stuck to the chairs and floor, along with body hair on surfaces. The pool was horrific with body hair all over the pool deck and on the pool chairs. The Hotel is not clean and we did not stay the night due to the uncleanliness of the Hotel. We stayed a 3 hours and left.

When we spoke to reception at check-in he was not professional and hardly acknowledge us and our questions about the pool location and wifi. When we spoke to the same receptionist that we were checking out he stated good, and go speak to my manager.

The room was very old and dirty (curtains were torn, desk chair cover was also completely torn, carpet had stains, sink without plug, TV is bad quality and with few channels, bed cover had multiple hairs!! ) it really grossed me out !
Front staff was just ok. Didn’t seem very efficient.
Breakfast was fairly decent …. Had hot and cold items.

Room was nice. Stayed after a long delayed flight and the heat wasn’t working. Was too tired to bother, but set the heat to high and when we woke up bathroom was freezing. Expedia does a poor job of displaying potential parking charges. Parking was 22$ a night in Burlington. Downtown Toronto I get the extra for parking and would even expect it, but not here.
