It's about a 5 minute walk away, which is incredibly convenient for getting to and from Toronto and numerous other GTA destinations. Would absolutely stay here on my next visit to the GTA.

We stayed at this hotel over the weekend and were extremely disappointed with the management and overall handling of a major issue. The temperatures were very high, yet the air conditioning in our room was completely broken. It was uncomfortably hot and stuffy from the moment we checked in.
We were traveling as a group of four and specifically needed a room that could accommodate everyone comfortably. Unfortunately, the hotel had no other suitable rooms available, so we were stuck in the hot room for the entire night. None of us slept well, it was miserable trying to rest in those conditions.
When we complained to the front desk, the manager's response was underwhelming. They offered us only 5,000 IHG points, which is roughly equivalent to about $35 in value. For a room that cost well over $300 for the night, this felt insulting and dismissive. We understand that equipment can occasionally fail, but a competent manager should prioritize making things right for guests when the problem can't be resolved during their stay. Expedia wasn't much better with compensation, they offered a $50 credit on our expedia account.
The lack of meaningful compensation or alternative solutions left a very sour impression. While the location and other basic amenities might be fine for some, the poor customer service in this situation makes me strongly recommend staying elsewhere with better management and a genuine commitment to guest satisfaction.

Was hoping to get 1/2 my money back the bed in room 416 was terrible hard and uncomfortable my girlfriend and I both woke up with sore backs . The location was great food at restaurant was great staff was great but the bed totally ruined our night and next day activities !!!!!!! Would never recommend staying unless you go check the bed !!! Never have I ever experienced such a letdown !! Usually at any hotel you can always look forward to a comfy cosy bed !! Better than at home most times! But NO ! It could have been cleaner and better maintained (one of the elevators was out and the stairs weren't easy to navigate) but overall was more or less pleasant. It has great soundproofing, despite sharing the hotel with plenty of young children it was rather quiet in our room; I could only hear someone outside our door.

Right by the Go station and I find the staff are good at addressing any accommodation needs. Though with the pool so close to the restaurant if you are planning to eat at the hotel I would recommend getting room service to avoid the noise and smell of chlorine, as the food is still good.

Unfortunately the noise was a huge issue in this hotel. I could hear my neighbors clear as day which kept me up all night. The hotel was accommodating in switching rooms the next day, however I ended up on the ground floor on the lobby side. The restaurant was extremely loud all night until after 11:00pm. I tried calling front desk multiple times without an answer… hotel should enforce quiet hours especially during the week when most people are staying for work.

The heating system in my first room was not working. The first person at the front desk said he will send a maintenance right away. After waiting for 30 minutes I called again. This time, another person, Harris answered and he said that the maintenance guy was long gone for the day. He came up to my room right away and after inspection he moved me to a different room. I stayed here for 3 nights. The pool was closed the entire time. When I booked my stay in advance, there was no information on this app saying the pool would be closed. Perhaps it was added later, or in the fine print - but I didn't notice it. I specifically choose this hotel over others in Oakville, for the pool, as I enjoy swimming as exercise. The hotel was full of hockey kids running around unsupervised, and they were so loud! The toilet in my room hardly flushed. The breakfast had a good selection, but I wouldn't say it was worth $50 for 2 people. Disappointed.

We found a couple of things that were not as expected. We stayed an extra night due to weather conditions and I was asked to put my credit card through twice so a cleaning deposit could be taken when I booked the second night. But this meant I put my credit card through for this function three times in total. When I asked the host at the desk, he couldnt' answer why I had been asked me to do that twice the day before. I'm still not sure if I'm going to get all of my deposits back, because it seems as if they charged me for three and not two cleaning deposits. In any case, the transaction left me confused and ill at ease.
In the room, there was an ice bucket, but there were no glasses other than plastic cups. Once you are old enough for drinking not to be a novelty anymore, you do not relish drinking wine from plastic throwaway cups. There were no extra blankets in the room and the room ran on the cold side - although once we called down for a blanket, two were very quickly brought up to the room.
The hotel itself was very clean, and very nice for a short stay.

I walked into my room and a waft of chemical apple scented cleaner was all through the room. I was surprised. With people being more and more health conscious and people having lots of allergies, I was very surprised. I called the front desk and said that I wanted another room that didn’t have this smell in it. They told me that I had to request ahead of time because every room gets sprayed.

Room was fine, but it's an older hotel and room style, has localized heating/cooling. Pretty thin walls. Probably best for an overnight stay or if you're not going to be there. Pool looked sort of ok, didn't use it though. Breakfast buffet is average, and definitely would not pay $22 for it. Front desk very courteously comp'd us for the breakfast, was unexpected. Staff in general are nice.

It was a suprise trip for our daughters sweet 16. When we arrived there were balloons in our room for her, along with a teddy bear, cupcakes and a note.
We had breakfast 2 mornings, and the service was fantastic. The room and lobby was all very clean.

Clean room, pool was heated, bar is pricey youre better off buying yourself a bottle from the store. Train station scross the street along with busses. Parking was great and free. Lost of dining options near by. My reason for a 4 out of t star stay was they do charge per person for breakfast which I do think sucks. Otherwise staff was great and welcoming. Also they do have quiet time at 10PM so basically you cant be loud after that time. It was a very quiet hotel. I was comfortable at my stay. Check in was quick and easy.

The hotel is a bit dated and the room seemed a wee well used in regards to furnishings but the room was very clean as was the bathroom.
