Was only there for one quick night so it was good for what I needed! A short walk from the parking lot to the front door which made it a little tricky to find - but really not bad once you know where you are going! Would stay again for the price.

The rooms are very basic and bare, which is fine. The bed was comfortable but the TV is not hooked up to cable and only for streaming which we didn't know ahead of time. The elevator didn't work one day but the stairs were right there and it was fixed. They have sandwiches and light food available in the lobby but it wasn't available to be purchased. Very convenient to our conference right across the parking lot. I'd stay again.

I had an excellent stay in the two double beds room at Residence & Conference Centre - Oakville. The room was extremely clean and comfortable, and the bathroom was flawlessly maintained. Everything exceeded my expectations, especially considering how affordable the price was.

I also want to highlight the front desk staff who were working on Saturday night around 9:30 PM. They were incredibly kind, warm, respectful, and welcoming, which made the experience even better.

The room setup was very practical as well. Each bed area had a large desk, making it easy to study or work comfortably, and there were ethernet ports available for wired internet access. The thermostat was simple to use and made it easy to control the room temperature exactly how we wanted.

I highly recommend this place for families, couples, and especially students looking for a clean, comfortable, and budget friendly stay. I will definitely be returning here often.

The only signage is on the entry door on the back side of the building. The sign isn’t visible in the dark and the main entry just looks like some random entrance to some random building.
Had to call to even make sure we were at the correct building and to find the entrance.
Parking is on the opposite side of the building from the entry and separated by a small woods and a walking path. Approximately 500 meters from parking to the entrance.
Someone in another room had a cough that kept me up because the noise traveled into our room.
One of the two bedrooms was cold.
No towel hooks for bath or hand towels.
Advertised as having a kitchenette… microwave and refrigerator, but zero utensils if you plan on eating bring your own silverware.
The only real positive is it was relatively inexpensive, and the staff is very friendly.

No mention of construction that was right up against my window before I booked. Unacceptable- I was woken at 6 am the day I had a job interview which I had travelled from Quebec for! Excessive noise from fridge compressor prevented me from falling asleep- decided to shut the fridge off so I could sleep. Naturally, my food items were not cold in the morning.
I was leaving after the first night due to these circumstances, and told they wouldn’t refund me for the second night. Terrible customer service. I politely explained to front desk. They said management would contact me- they did not. I contacted Expedia , they contacted the hotel, and still, no response. Was also told it would take 24 hours- after that time I still had not heard any response.
Appalling service. I understand that I booked ahead and prepaid through Expedia- this should not be a factor in providing a refund for the 2nd night that I wasn’t there for. Exceptions should have been made. A bit of understanding and empathy for my situation wouldn’t have hurt. I travelled 7 hours by train to Oakville expecting a good night’s rest before a stressful day interviewing for work. The $100. may not mean anything to Residence & Conference Inn, but when you are a person without major funds, it means a lot.
It would be nice if the hotel did the right thing- until they do, I will continue to NOT recommend their establishment.
Also;no lamps. Who reads at night with only overhead light??Showerhead-low pressure

Staff are extremely friendly and helpful. All the stores are close..walking distance. The room was large and had enough floor space for me to do my yoga. Also I was able to bring food, dishes and cutlery since I knew beforehand what was available. So my special gluten free diet was easy to do in a room with a full fridge and freezer and a microwave. There is a kitchen down the hall but all my food was precooked.

You stay in Sheridan Residence rooms. They don't advertise that.
Our first room had the sheets undone, garbage full, towels on the floor and crumbs/dust everywhere. We went downstairs to ask for a different room, then we got a clean one.
Still, it's not a hotel. It's a dorm.

Coming back this weekend!

For the price, it can’t be beat. Excellent location and cozy set up. Just remember, it’s a college dorm, NOT a hotel so it’s best to set your expectations prior to your visit. No television in the room (they do have computer monitors) and it’s two rooms with a twin bed in each. Other than that, we had a blast!

I like this property as it is affordable, new, big and clean. As it is the student campus, so the surrounding environment is nice, big and quiet. The front desk lady is always very friendly. My purpose of my trip to Ontario is to see my child’s campus and residence in another university. This is a great opportunity for me to experience this campus housing. There are washers and dryers in this property as well. Super convenient. I like the little path/trail by the parking lot. I went jogging in the morning before heading out for my day. I also like the restaurant across the street, especially Shangyun Rice Nood restaurant. Price is very reasonable and food is so good.

This is a college dorm rather than an actual hotel. It's pretty nice for a dorm, certainly much nicer than my college dorm was, but it doesn't have the comfort or the amenities that an actual hotel would. I don't regret staying here, but I'm not in a hurry to go back and I'd caution anyone who can't deal with a very firm mattress to stay away.

Beds are double so for a family of 3 it is bit tough sharing the beds but we managed.

Showers have great pressure and towels are very small and used so if this is a bother, bring a towel you would enjoy.

Check- in was a breeze once we found the correct building.
It was the first building after the round-a-bout on the right closest to the parking lot you see when driving in off of Trafalgar. (Main entrance)

Parking is about 250m away from the front doors so make sure to do drop off for luggage for long term stays.

Elevator access and doors in lobby.

If coming by Oakville transit, the campus has a great looking bus terminal/stop that is well lit and there is a Popeyes and Burger King across the street along Trafalgar.

Highway 403 is nearby and so is a local mall for browsing on a rainy day with a Shoppers Drug Mart.

This is not an hotel. Don't expect a TV or breakfast of anykind, that being said, we knew before arriving so we were prepared. Great rooms with seperate sleeping areas for family travel. Close to everything you might need. Price is very good so we would definitly go back.

My check in was seemless, the check in process was quick all I had to do was show my ID and card I used to pay for my stay, even though my check in time was @2am, when I informed that I will be checking in very late. The rooms were what you would expect in a dorm of a college. Spacious TBH, we had separated rooms and the bed was comfortable, it came with a kitchenette and kitchen table. Microwaves and fridge. And for the price it was worth it. Will stay here when room are available. For my next trip.
