The room was large and spacious!
The restaurant would benefit from having at least one vegetarian option for dinner.
The bed was comfortable, but the walls are thin. We had a very loud group of ladies across the hall.

A unique oasis in an urban setting. Lots of green space to enjoy while also being close to the urban amenities that one would expect in an urban setting! A real nice find!
Marlon
Everything was great about this property, the structure, room, staff. Hotel is quiet m, clean and staff is exceptional. Bed was super comfortable.

Overall, it was an okay stay. The grounds are beautiful, and it's easy to see why they host so many weddings. The room was clean and smelled nice, and the soundproofing was surprisingly good.
That said, the rooms are quite small, the bathroom fan is loud, and the shower water pressure is weak. The hallways have an old-house smell.
The hotel also has a lot of artificial plants, and many of them were dusty. Real plants would make the place feel much nicer.
The staff were okay. I asked to borrow a vase for flowers, and they reminded me several times to return it. I had no problem bringing it back, but repeating it over and over felt a bit strange.
There were flies in the lobby, and I was told I couldn't prepay for breakfast at check-in—I had to order and pay from the menu each morning.
Overall, it's a nice place for a short stay, but there are a few details that could definitely be improved.

The Inn was a well maintained and beautiful spot to stay. It has a great location and the restaurant meals were excellent. The room was small but well equipped. Staff were helpful and pleasant.
Lisa
Large room with very comfy beds

I hope this was a one off, but when we arrived, they had given away my room. It looked like I had checked in but when they looked under my reservation, it was a completely different person's identification they had under my reservation number. I ended up with a lesser room after about 1/2 hour of waiting. I had paid for king suite and received a double queen (non suite). We did get a free breakfast for myself and the other couple that were staying at the Inn with us. I would have hoped that the manager the next morning on hearing of this problem, might have reached out to us and offered something more than breakfast. The place was lovely and in the end I did sleep comfortably, but a bit of an ordeal.
Deborah
Loved the grounds, the room was large and spacious, staff very helpful especially reception who went out of their way to get me a cup of tea at 1am after our late arrival. Location was good as next to a nice trail for a walk
Linda
Charming historic property, warm and elegant atmosphere, gracious hospitality to host your event! Everyone complimented the delicious food and ambiance.
The staff was exceptionally supportive in organizing our Celebration of Life event. The accommodations and breakfast on site made it so convenient!

Room was great....all that was needed was microwave

Some people complained the rooms were very nice but very small and no elevator so for seniors and people with mobility issues there arent many accessible rooms on the main floor. They did give us an accessible room close to Lobby which was huge and lovely. We attended a wedding and the meal was excellent.
Monika
Beautiful surroundings, quiet and clean.
Yvonne
Love the staff, love the Inn
Dawn
The room and the Inn itself were very clean. It is an older Inn, but well maintained. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We attended a wedding here and everything went very smoothly. The food portions were very large and tasty. The drinks and canapes were yummy. One drawback was no elevator, as many in our group were older and/or had back and leg issues.
Jennifer
beautiful surroundings, and impeccable staff dedicated to ensuring you have a wonderful stay - had the food this time, it was excellent - Glenerin provides good overall value for a boutique experience - we will be back

Yes, the staff were good, but there was no coffee table or any table we could use to put our lab tub or even our coffee on, so that was not cool!
Maria
Room was in good condition, very clean, the room was on the 2nd floor, they dont have an elevator so you need to carry your suitcase etc up the stairs, no bell boys, front desk staff were friendly.

Room was good but a bit too small. Also a/c and exhaust fan in the bathroom were not functional.
Robin
Love this place! Reminds me of similar historic buildings in England. Yes, rooms are small, but such good quality, I don’t care. Breakfast was really done well and very pleasant staff. I’d give it a five star if there was a gym and workroom area.
Martin
Wonderful room, great restaurant.

Nice stay. Rooms were nice. Towels could have been better quality. There was music thumping through to the room. Otherwise great stay.
Lisa
the room was clean and the staff were friendly.
Margot
Friendly staff and lovely, comfortable room.
Janson
Place and venue was nice. The room was smaller than expected and the floors were slightly dirty. But the amenities and rooms were nice.
oribami
The staffs are very welcoming. Excellent Hotel. In fact, it's like an executive cottage.
Alana
Hallway noise and neighbor smoking in the room next door was a problem.
Christos
Beautiful property. Great room size. Welcoming staff. Only issue is that under room selection Expedia lists the property as having rooms with a 5 person capacity, and the property only has a max capacity of 4, thereafter you have to book a cot (very uncomfortable) and incur an additional charge for the very uncomfortable cot
Colleen
We stayed at the Glenerin Inn for the weekend (Friday to Sunday) while attending our friends’ wedding there on Saturday.
Pros:
We stayed in the Luxury King Suite, which was spacious and beautifully appointed. The bed was very comfortable, room service was quick and efficient, and we enjoyed a lovely, relaxing spa day on Friday.
Cons:
Check-in information was minimal. We did not receive a map of the property or much guidance on amenities or dining beyond room service. We weren’t sure if there was a bar on-site, whether breakfast was included, or where to grab beverages, which was a bit frustrating. A brief introduction or tour at check-in would have been helpful, as we relied solely on room service for dinner and breakfast since we didn’t know what other options there were.
The cooling system in our room did not seem to work properly, and the first night was quite warm (around 25°C). We were able to make the second night more comfortable by turning everything off and opening the windows for a while before bed.
Additionally, We would have appreciated a welcome note or small personal touch, especially for a luxury property. While the room was beautiful, it felt somewhat impersonal upon arrival.
Overall:
The accommodations and spa experience were excellent, but clearer communication, better orientation, and a warmer welcome would greatly improve the guest experience. With a few small touches, this could be a standout stay.

Denise at the front desk was friendly and pleasant. Room was clean, property is nice. the Issue we had was the people in the room next to us were having a party until 4am and we could hear everything like they were right outside the door.

Amazing stay! Very courteous front desk host, checked me in and escorted me to my room. This hotel is spotless and even in winter, the views are gorgeous. Cannot say enough good things about this hotel.

I have always loved the Glenerin Inn. It was built in the 1930s and has maintained its charm and character while upgrading and renovating. My daughter’s wedding reception was at the Glenerin Inn in 2011 and it was outstanding.
We lived in Mississauga for many years, but recently moved to PEI. This past Christmas we stayed at the Glenerin for 6 consecutive nights.
Many highlights, beginning with Svetlana who served us breakfast every morning. I would give her 10 stars.
Parking onsite & free.
Food great!
Great patio in summer. Gorgeous grounds.
We stayed in two different rooms, both with two queen beds. Both were clean and spacious rooms, one with a fireplace. They both had Keurig coffee makers and a wine fridge. A couple of small things here:
1. The front desk didn’t know whether the fireplace “worked” or was just for show (when asked).
2. The fireplace has beautiful brickwork and adds character, but the actual electric fire is so minimalist it added neither heat nor ambiance to the room.
3. The room with the fireplace is billed as a luxury room, but has one ply toilet paper in the bathroom. One ply.
4. There were two drinking glasses and 2 coffee pods. No wine glasses, no cutlery, no little extras (pods were available at the front desk and from the cleaning staff).
5. No elevator to the second floor.
6. Lunch: Same menu as dinner. Menu has salads & large excellent mains, but, other than salad, it is not suitable for a simple lunch or for young kids.

6. Lunch: Same menu as dinner. Menu has salads & large excellent mains, but, other than salad, it is not suitable for a simple lunch or for young kids.

The Room was so clean, the staff were so great. It was Christmas Time and treated us so well and very kind. The Spa was excellent. We love the Gem Of An Inn. We will be back.

Beautiful facility. Love the trails in the woods minutes away. We were there for a family wedding which was a wonderful venue. Did not have time to use the spa though. Would stay again.

We had a great stay at this hotel. The room was very clean with a cozy and comfortable ambience. The staff were friendly, helpful, and welcoming throughout my stay. The location is very convenient—close to the airport and near the University of Toronto Mississauga. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Felt like I was in the Country- but 40 mins from home! Great food.

Room was fine. Staff were very friendly and did a great job. Coffee from the machine in the room was not hot enough. 2 coffee pods provided but no tea.

The room was clean, staff was professional.

The room was very clean, with a comfortable bed and stocked with coffee, tea and water. I loved the real drinking glasses and porcelain mugs! We had a smaller sized room but it was fine for our short stay.
Continental breakfast was included. The fresh fruit salad, yogurt, croissants, muffins and coffee were all delicious. We dined at the restaurant and had two excellent meals.
All the staff were extremely professional and friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Glenerin Inn and Spa.
There are several trails within walking distance from the hotel.

We had a great stay at the Glenerin. We booked 1 bedroom with a King bed - the mattress and pillows were heavenly, the towels are thick and the entire place was spotless and super clean! thank you to the team!

We've stayed here multiple times and enjoyed every visit. Staff is warm and accommodating. Kudos to Norman, David, Svetlana, and Victoria. We will see you all again soon. Thank you!

Beautifully situated in the heart of Mississauga and yet seconds away from a woodsy trail. The rooms were beautifully updated and the bed was very comfortable. Would recommend.

It isn't a a large franchised place, and has a lot of charm which is something I love about it. Frankly, I think we need more places like this.
The staff are friendly, the immediate area is quiet and the trail is nice. The rooms are kept clean, and refreshed daily (be sure to put the sign in the door).
That said....
There doesn't seem to be much if any soundproofing. From it sounding like guests in the room above are stomping around to doors from other units closing loudly. And if there is an event and you're in a room at that end of the inn, if the group and music is loud, you will definitely hear and feel it. If anyone is outside you can hear their conversations clearly.
As for cleaning - It IS good, but could be a bit more thorough. The upholstered chairs are dusty and need to be vacuumed, the towels leave small bits that we had to pick off after our shower. I don't know if they'd been sitting around and were just dusty or if it was the towel fabric itself.
The beds are otherwise comforable, albeit soft (and a bit high for shorter people).
I cannot speak for their spa or breakfast, but I've had their steak before and it was wonderful!
This place is good, but has soo much potential for being exceptional.
To the Inn - Please consider ensuring all rooms are thoroughly cleaned/vacuumed at least weekly, especially if they haven't been used; same with linens; and implement soundproofing measures between floors, finding a way to make doors close quietly; perhaps reserve

Great property, nice quiet area and great designed room however the doors on the main floor of the carriage house were constantly being open and shut from people coming and going and so that was super annoying every five mins. But other than that it was very nice
