I stay there often. Very welcoming, easy parking, great staff and the rooms are clean. This morning I tried the breakfast bar and it was good with great service.

The room was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. A few things to note was the height of the bed. It high and for a short person or older, it can be a bit of a challenge. Also, the amenity for the bathroom is very sparse on the vanity. Only one bar of soap. The phone in the room was not working although it was connected. The one thing that I really liked was how quiet it is for sleeping and the blackout curtains are fantastic. The heating system was very quiet and easy to control the temperature.

Room was clean and inviting to relax. For the bathroom, Toilet flush was on the weak side which was expressed to front desk, and shower pressure was very good. The bathroom wall around sink needed some cleaning as there was splatter marks from previous guests. My stay included breakfast, service was good, while the eggs/meat/toast/taters breakfast i had could have been better due to over cooked taters. The breakfast burrito my wife had was very good.

The hotel was okay overall but definitely had a few issues. The cleanliness of the room and common areas was good, and the location around the property was convenient with easy parking and walkable options nearby. I also liked that the area felt safe and had some decent dining and shopping choices around.
The biggest downside was the breakfast. It was one of the worst parts of the stay. You have to order your breakfast at a small little cafe. Also they have no coffee available in the lobby. Who doesn't have coffee in the lobby?

I paid a fair bit to have a balcony, smoking should be allowed. Didnt have a chance to eat there however, it smelt good!! Would consider going again the next time we are in toronto!
