i appreciated the staff helping me with a wake up call. The motel was perfect for me as i only needed a place to sleep. i dont need all the extra amenities. The bonus was i could park right in front of my room. As it was on the main floor.
Very clean, staff were wonderful.The location was perfect.

There was no mention of $100-$200 deposit on the room which was frustrating. The front desk staff were polite. This hotel is used by low income housing recipients on vouchers and there were personal effects outside of realms such as an abandoned roller bag Near my room. The floors have not been swept or wiped as there was a lot of dust under foot. There were thick cobweb and dust bunnies on the lamp fixtures and a lightbulb needed to be replaced in one of the lights. Some dust was on the outer bed cover. Despite that I had a good nights sleep as it was quiet The water was hot and it was sanitary in the bathroom. It was a convenience day from downtown Toronto at a decent price, but I would’ve liked it to be less money for how dirty it was.

The door to the room was broken. We had to switch rooms. The room had no hand soap or basics like shampoo or conditioner. The website said they offered airport shuttle which was not true. I would not stay there again.

I’m a 44 yo single female who had to grab a room after midnight, sort of last minute. I was trying to find a cheap room, clean and safe, and that’s definitely true for Super 5 Inn. When I arrived, the exterior door to the “lobby” was locked and I panicked for a few mins (as I had already paid in the app) but after a few mins, the owner or employee pulled up and let me in. Maybe he had just popped out to get something, I’m not sure. So I checked in and went back out to my car to get my suitcase. Parking was exceptionally close and easy - I was able to pull right up to the door - but there’s no elevator in case you require one. I had to haul my suitcase up the set of stairs which was fine but the guy at the front desk should’ve offered to get my bag up the stairs, if I’m being honest. He was middle aged and able bodied so that is a service he could have provided. It was after midnight and there was no one else there. So other than the initial locked door and no elevator, it was perfect. Clean, quiet, safe, very basic room but it was great value and I got an awesome sleep. They also let me do a later check out (noon instead of 11am) since I checked in late, had to leave early in the morning for a game, and then returned and had a little nap since they allowed a later check out. Overall, fantastic value for $117. I hope this helps if you’re wondering what this place is like.

This was the only hotel (close to the airport) that was available when WestJet decided to cancel many flights at around the same time. We checked in quite late, and while the place wasnt immaculate, the check in staff was extremely friendly. Our room was clean and quiet. Id reccomend this hotel to anyone just staying the night in Toronto.

My partner and I went to our first room and it already wasn’t according to the photos. This was room 228 (the castle room) and I got it for a “supposedly” romantic stay with my partner. The only shower was in the jacuzzi and that wasn’t safe at all as my boyfriend slipped and hurt his wrist. As well the water was leaking all over the place for the “shower”. We then requested to change rooms (room 227 the room next to us) and within the first hour we found 3 cockroaches scattering on the walls. Staff also charged us $40 for the room change and did nothing nor care about it the roaches in the room. Don’t stay here

I had lost my i.d after being out after the Blue Jays game. I tried to pick up my deposit and had a bit of a hard time getting it but I completely understand and applaud they diligent effort to prove I was the one that left the deposit. I had a different piece of i.d but was not the one I used to check in so she went back to the video footage to be sure I was the person that checked in.
It was a bit of a nuisance but I'm glad she took the time to be sure my deposit was not given to the wrong person.
She was very kind and understanding of my situation.
Would definitely recommend this hotel, mainly because of her kindness and I feel she went above and beyond her job description.
The only thing I did not like was the police randomly asking anyone in a car for their i.d and why they were in the parking lot. They showed up twice while we stayed the one night. The officer was very rude and while I know I did not have to give my i.d without cause, it was just easier and faster to just give it so they can run the names so we can leave.
Unless the hotel asked them then they should not be doing that on a private property

The room looked clean but actually it was very dirty. The wooden flooring was so dirty. Without shoes, your feet or socks would completely get black and dirty. There were spiders inside the room. The bed sheets had stains. Toilet was comparatively cleaner than the room but the door and walls have dents on it. Overall, it's okay for one night but it was not worth what you are paying for.

This is a warning to everyone looking to stay here. It's not great....at all. It started badly with a \"lady of the night\" pacing the sidewalk in front of the hotel. Then there was a broken hypodermic needle in the parking spot next to my vehicle. Getting into the lobby, it was very very worn down and dirty. The employee behind the desk was polite and professional, so no concerns about that. It was a bit odd that the deposit for damage was $200 instead of the customary $100, but it was returned at the end anyway. The room was nasty. The bathroom had damage to it as if it were punched. The sink was dirty. The walls had multiple stains, rips, dirt, and a spider. Thankfully, after checking the beds, there were no bedbugs, but I discovered blood stains on one of the box spring sheets. I have included pictures of various obvious issues I found. Overall, this place needs to be closed down, rehauled, renovated, or rebuilt, but it is NOT fit for people to stay in. I'm very very disappointed in the stay, especially for the price I paid. The second star is for the employee who was professional.

While the staff was friendly and courteous, the room smelled of feet and a powder that might have been used to try to cover the smell. The room looked clean but it was hard to get over the smell in the room.
A lot of parking was very convenient since we were pulling a trailer and did not have to pay for parking here.

Oh wow if you want budget hotel way past its prime then that is exactly what you are getting. After reading the reviews we thought we would give it a try on our quick 2 day lay over. Check in was decent, new staff training so it took a few extra minutes which isn’t a big deal. We had a lower room and yikes! Looked like the door had been kicked in a couple times. The term “lipstick on a pig” applies to the room. A few attempts were made to disguise the fact that it may have once housed the homeless… flooring somewhat recently redone. A canvas painting haphazardly nailed to the walls with a convenient punched hole beside it. A positive is that the beds were clean and comfortable. Old food from previous customers were left in the freezer. The bathroom had (hopefully) seen better days as it came complete with a bright red light that did not work. As a quick budget stay when all you need is a quick bed and rest then this should do fine but anything beyond that I would probably suggest looking around. One thing we did enjoy was the proximity to a local kids park two blocks away in which we frequented to avoid staying in the room. All in all I kinda wish we had cancelled and moved elsewhere, but it is what it is.

They took a 200$ “payment” not security deposit, payment, from my card and told me the next day at checkout it would be reimbursed in 5 to 7 business days.

I don’t believe this to be legal and should be looked into.

There was a hole in the door in the toilet. There was someone smoking in front my room and there were cigarette butts on the ground outside my room. I have pictures but I not going to bother to upload them. There are a few restaurants nearby that are good e.g. Fat Fork. The hotel looks great in pictures but is shabby on the inside with wall that have stains that one coat of paint would easily fix and carpet that is scruffed up. On the good side there was water and the toilets flushed. Hotel is far away from everything. The very first day we came there was a man smoking weed on the outside in front of my room. I think the number was 101 on the outside. By the time we got to the room he wasn't there but I began to wonder what kind of place it was. This place is far from everything.....don't go there. And take note in the smaller places like this one, they take out the damage deposit on arrival and tell you you'll get it back in about 6 days time after checkout. Bigger hotels just hold money until the day of checkout. I paid online for 2 days but I left after the first day.

Was not our idea of a modest stay. We didn’t want to splurge for a few hours of sleep but you clearly get what you’re paying for. Dirty sink and mirror in the bathroom, the couch was full of crumbs and sand. Not a great location but check in was quick. No receipt for the deposit nor for the room charges.

Room was dirty in the weirdest ways. Strange red brown liquids on the walls like someone had a food fight in there, grease on the wall painting that ruined my shirt, let shower run before use and shower floor was dirty. Cleaned some of the room myself easily so it should have been cleaned by staff. Wifi was terrible, TV barely worked, freezers didnt really keep anything frozen and sheets had a lot of yellow stains. Would not stay here again.
