Room was clean, friendly staff . Prepaid for breakfast and never got any. Was told I didn't pay.
My huge disappointment is that i left a pair of diamond bracelets and a pair of gold one under the pillow and forgot it . When I got home and called.Lost and found said they don't have it . Did the cleaning crew took it and did not report it to lost and found? I am truly disappointed . I got a phone call saying they don't have it and that's that . They will not look into it. I lost $ 3,000 worth of jewelry .

Check in was very unprofessional. Waited in line for 35 minutes with no explanation of the delay apparently caused by overbooking due to a flight cancellation. It would have been so helpful if the front desk staff had explained the problem. Instead, they ignored the 22 people waiting to check in,

The staff are nice especially when we handed them our luggage for storage before check in. There were technical difficulties on the elevator going to the 12th floor which we have reported to the front desk multiple times. The alarm beeps every 10 seconds making it a bit hard to sleep. For some reason we have only been provided housekeeping services for the first 3 days and not the last three; thus, we didnt receive any refill for the following: kleenex, handsoap, and plastic bag for the trash and recycling this is despite leaving prior to checkout time to allow for housekeeping to hit our room. The facility was nice, the room was comfortable and the bed was good, but that elevator alarm still kept us up. We were advised the issue would be fixed on monday (when reporting it on sunday) but when we came back monday night it was still there. They offered us another room but we already settled in and had sprawled out so we tried to ignore it. Nonetheless, the staff are accommodating and apart from the issue with the alarm as well as the lack of housekeeping services, our stay was great.

The front desk staff were excellent at check-in and check-out - personable, helpful. The room itself unfortunately left much to be desired. It was right outside the cluster of air conditioning units - aesthetically not ideal, but ironic because the A/C in the room was virtually nonexistent. The thermostat had been set to 60 when I arrived in a clear attempt to change this, but it never got below 75. Thankfully it was a quick stay before an early morning flight, but it was a sticky one.

Rooms were cleaned twice in a week. No service the other 5 days. No coffee, no cups or condiments.

Had to change rooms at their direction because they said there was a leak. Speaking of leak we could hear the next room taking a piss.

2 of 5 elevators working the last few days we were there.

Yesterday morning continuous drilling and sawing for some reason above us at 8 AM.

I told them In a kind way at checkout and felt I was talking to a dear in the headlights.

Due to unforseen circumstances, The Crowne Plaza hotel moved us to their sister hotel The Hampton Hotel. Both sets of staff from the two hotels were exceptionally polite and the move to the other hotel wasn't far or out of our way. The room we received was very nice and very clean. The hotel itself was very nice and so was the pool and workout room. The complimentary breakfast and staff was awesome. We will definitely be booking another stay.

We booked 3 rooms a week in advance. Got no prior emails OR calls about having no rooms. As I get there, front desk tells me that there are no rooms left and that they were waiting until I got there to tell me and transfer me to a different hotel. Utterly disappointed, as I am coming from 5 hours away. Alongside my 2 other family members that are travelling out of city (6 hours away) with a new born. We booked THIS specific hotel knowing that the reviews were up to our standard and wanted to SPECIFICALLY have this hotel. I asked for a refund or at least any compensation and have not had results.

I am extremely disappointed in the way staff has handled the matters.

We checked in at 11pm. Room only had a single hand towel and bath mat. We called front desk who indicated they would bring up some towels. We never received these towels. When checking in we had to walk thru a wall of cigarette smoke at the front of the hotel which was disgusting. Beer cans sitting in the elevator and lobby. Checking out was another awesome experience with two ambulances and police cars sitting g in front of the hotel with a large group of people handing around. This was at 5:15am. Needless to say, I would not recommend this hotel or stay there again my self. Very disappointing

Good place for overnight before flying out. Hotel looks like it needs some TLC and while everything was OK it was not memorable. Little noisy from the highway just outside, even on the upper floors. Good food options in the hotel and near it. Airport shuttle was the best part of our stay, picked us up on time and a short ride to the terminal.

My reservation has been moved to Hampton inn without any notification. The blackout curtain can’t close at Hampton inn. The window AC was very loud. Also we have to wait very long for shuttle buses to Crowne plaza. The shuttles to other hotels such as double tree has much less waiting time.

The hotel looked very nice and we got to the hotel around 230 and tried to check in. Was told that our room would be ready in 20-30 minutes so come back. Came back and there was a huge lineup so waited in line for check in. Waited at least 45 minutes. Got up to check in desk and was told they moved us to the Hampton Inn and Suites but they weren’t sure why or how it works. So told us to sit down and they would sort out. They came back 15 minutes later and didn’t tell us why just told us to go to the Hampton. Said we would get free breakfast and parking. Made our way to Hampton and there were 4 other people that were booked into the Crowne and were told to come to Hampton. Everyone at Hampton gets a free breakfast but they tried to charge us for parking. Argued with them and they contacted the Crown and finally gave us free parking.

All in all It was a big runaround obviously because they overbooked the hotel. Not impressed in the least when all we wanted to do was get to hotel and rest before our flight home!

The hotel has great amenities such as free shuttle service to the airport. From the airport, there is train service straight to downtown Toronto. There is a restaurant in the lobby of the hotel and others in walking distance. I had no complaints with my stay here.

The hotel was clean, had easy check-in, and the staff who helped with that process were lovely.

We had a problem though with the breakfast, and the hotel staff double charging hotel guests. We overheard and talked to a few other tables who were having the same issue. The hostess and waitress were friendly and tried to help but the manager was rude, said we had to double pay or not be served. Ended up resolving the issue the next day but it was a PITA.

We stayed here for an overnight layover before an early morning flight, so our main priorities were a clean room and a reliable airport shuttle.

Check-in was quick, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. When we discovered that our first room had not been cleaned properly—it was dusty throughout, and the bathroom was in very poor condition—the staff promptly moved us to another room. We appreciated how helpful and accommodating they were.

Unfortunately, while the second room was better, it still did not meet an acceptable standard of cleanliness. Because of this, we didn’t feel comfortable using the bathroom or the towels and decided to skip showering altogether.

The airport shuttle service, however, was excellent. It was punctual, reliable, and made getting to the airport for our early flight easy

Everything is was great, just very loud and I am not referring to the airplanes. The AC unit in the room goes on and off throughout the night and is very loud. Good hotel if you’re staying overnight wouldn’t do longer than 2 nights. Parking is also extra 33$ a night which I find is ridiculous considering there’s a major commercial lot next door which majority of the hotel guest parked at for free.

Terrible customer service. My flight was canceled to get to Toronto, I communicated this to the hotel as soon as I received the notification from the airline. Being in the travel industry, I would assume a hotel would understand that travel interruptions outside of customers control can happen. I sent them the email from the airline showing my name, date and cancellation. They denied it and charged me full price.

Congratulations. Enjoy the 1 night booking fee you stuck me with. I travel 150+ days a year and I will never book at your hotel again.

Good but not the best value for money. Pet friendly, which is nice. I only booked there because they could accommodate my senior dog who unfortunately passed prior to the trip. Bed very comfortable, nicest pillows I've ever slept on. Shower awkwardly designed, wasn't handheld but worked and was clean. Zero view with our room. Could see some questionable electrical work outside on the roof in front of our window which was fully frosted except for a small crack at the bottom. There was an open junction box lying next to a puddle of rain water. Planes very loud but not disruptively so. Room came to 286 CAD +30 for parking for one night with a discount and breakfast not included, menu is overpriced, but short bus ride to timmies and other restaurants or about 15 minutes walk. Certainly convenient to the airport. Door handle opened weird, installed upside-down. Room was okay but I've had better for less. You get the feeling they charge the maximum they can and pay the minimum for maintaining the property. I'd booked for 2 people and requested separate beds, but they only gave us one bed, it was fine. Staff were great though. But for a hotel that looks really swanky the room was kinda meh.

Stayed one night and hardly slept.

I am assuming that because of FIFA people didn’t realize that there rooms under them and were up late into the night “practicing “ with the balls over my head!

The staff also don’t realize that not everyone is up at 6 am when they start their day cleaning rooms and slamming doors!

It was one of the most noisy places I’ve ever been in and I’m not including the airplanes as I expected that noise.

I even had noise canceling headphones on and still could hear people.

Would not stay there again.

When we arrived it was crazy busy and there was no where to park so we had to park about 500m away which wasn’t horrible but a little inconvenient. Check in took about 25 minutes because of how busy it was. After we checked in, we were told it was a $30/day parking fee with in and out privileges which was fine. There was a lot of construction going on there or else there was just a lot of machinery taking up a bunch of spots for parking around the back and sides of the hotel. The parking is a shared lot with another hotel which made parking non-existent. We ended up having to park down the street at a random overflow lot and walk back to the hotel. This was probably a 5-10 minute walk. This I was not a fan of having to pay $30/day to park that far and walk especially in the pouring rain and late at night. The hotel would not remove this charge for our bill once we talked to the front desk so that was a little annoying. The rooms were small. Ours was pretty dirty upon walking in. The fridge was full of brown liquid drip marks, pubic hair in bathroom and stains on the sheets. Not to mention the air conditioner barely worked and we had to put it at 6o so we wouldn’t overheat. I booked this hotel because people I know loved it but I wouldn’t stay there again.
