Hotel was ok but fire alarm went off at 2 a.m. & had to evacuate 8 floors down without any warning & waited outside for an hour until it was clear to return to the room with no explanation. Had to walk up 8 flights to get back to the room. The fire fighters told us that the hotel was not up to code. The hotel was being renovated. Next morning had to make a few trips to get our luggage & still elevators were not working but room key wouldn't work at 5 a.m. when we went up the 2nd time. One of us had to go back down again to get another key. Got very little sleep, no apologies or reimbursement of any sort. Also, we were supposed to be in quarantine but had to catch another flight to get home.

This building is very old but is currently under renovation. The room we stayed in is mostly newly renovated (bathroom not so much). The renovations going on really took away from any aesthetic appeal and there is unplastered drywall/dust etc around. Breakfast was very disappointing — looks like it’s in an old conference room with old plastic tables full of food spills (no one wiping them down), disposable plates. There is a make-your-own waffle maker, and toast, bagels, and cereal. No fruit or yogurt.

When I booked the picture of the room looked great, unfortunately it has nothing in common with the room I got. The hotel was under construction and the noise level during breakfast was a little too loud to say the least. There seemed to be a seminar or meeting going on in a room that only had temporary plastic walls. That can’t be very productive considering the noise level.

The hotel is under renovation so there are basically no amenities and it all seems a bit chaotic. My room wasn't the cleanest but given the current state of the hotel, the bed was perfect and the staff were amazing. I did let front desk know about room state, not as a complain but as a heads up for housekeeping to be aware for the next guest. I look forward to visiting again when the renos are done.

For one night stay to be near the airport the price was better than most. Lobby is currently being renovated so couldn’t comment on that area. No noise or problems caused by renovation. There were two of us in king bed. Would not stay again unless new beds.

It’s was not what I was expecting at alllllllll the entire 5th floor smelled like smoke, the room felt old and uncomfortable the washroom was not very clean we did not shower there! and the lobby was a huge construction zone and as for “Free”breakfast don’t get your hopes up they are no eggs and bacon lol just basic breads and spreads and stale pastry’s this was a definite one star cringe experience I would never recommend this hotel to anyone! The property is under renovations and so the lobby and breakfast rooms are make-shift. The hotel is housing many long term tenants, which makes it seem more like an apartment building. Nothing close by, except a couple of suspect restaurants. Very disappointed room was not like the picture. I left a night early, even though I paid.

The room was in very good condition. Breakfast was average. Had to call and wait 20 minutes for the hotel courtesy shuttle transport from Airport to the hotel. Main doors of the hotel entrance were not operating properly. Waiting to checking felt like waiting on the street. The weather was below freezing, it was -12C.

Travelling home from our vacation and we had an 18 hour layover in Toronto. We decided to book a hotel room with Comfort Hotel Airport North in Toronto to rest before our connecting flight to our final destination. We felt welcome and the room was exactly what we needed to get some good rest and recharge. The front desk team is friendly and a pleasure to speak with. I'd be happy to stay here again in the future, and recommend this hotel for anyone within the area.

I found the room good but the air/heat system was extremely old and my husband now has a sinus infection as the circulation was so bad. Tub was also clogged. But for the price and area it was okay. Construction was a little sketchy when I first arrived as there were alot of scraps and garbage scattered outside the front entrance however, inside the hotel was much more appealing. We liked that the rooms have been recently renovated. What we didn't like about that was there is still so much to be fixed, finished, and brought up to snuff our rooms. Beds were very comfortable. We didn't use the air conditioning we just opened the window, and although it was close to the airport, there wasn't a lot of noise at night. When the window was closed you couldn't hear outside noise at all.
