No dressers for clothing. Closets a plenty but only a couple of hangers.
The iron had residue on it so ironing our outfits was sketchy.
The bed was super small and very low to the ground.
The living room couch was not comfortable.
No TV service the next morning.
No microwave.
You are given the same access code for the elevator and your room. Anyone in the elevator can see over your shoulder the code you’re punching in. Therefore they know the code to your room as well.
The parking lots charge $6.00 a day for parking until 5:00am. Parking was not available at The Laundry Room.

Would stay here again forsure!

Omg what an awful place. The parking is aweful. The bathroom is unsafe there is not one safety bar. You have to walk over a tub that has a slated back to get around a wall.
There was not enough face clothes or hand towels. We had a two bedroom suite. The furniture was stained and dirty. Very low end. Not impressed.

Parking was full when we were asked to check in. Luckily the spill over lot was close by.

A great stay! Great location and easy to get around the city from the hotel. Quiet and clean, would totally stay again.
Only heads up is that Hotels.com doesn't pass your email info to the Laundry Room, so you do need to follow up directly with them a couple days before your stay to get some additional info in and book parking (if needed).
Otherwise, very easy to book!

Place was easily accessible to the venue. Room was clean except for one small issue which was rectified immediately by property management. All in all it was a smooth check-in.

Industrial chic decor with art on the wall was a pleasant surprise. The apartment was much bigger than I expected, the air conditioning was excellent. The staff was responsive, even though we did it through text and email. They were extremely accommodating to me. The location has a cute boutique grocer just around the corner. The mattress was incredibly comfortable. I highly recommend this place.
Amy
The room was clean but had clearly been smoked in despite the warnings against smoking, the bed was so soft we both woke up with backaches and the space was stuffy despite the AC.

Was a very nice property

The apartment was lovely. Modern, well appointed, big windows, comfortable bed. It is located on a street with many food and bar options, including a rooftop bar (which was not open during our stay) but it is not noisy. Note that there is no in-person staff. Everything is managed via text message but the host is very attentive. My entry code didn't arrive to access the hotel on the day of our stay but the host answered the call after a single ring and quickly sent me the text to enter my information for check-in. I also received step by step instructions on how to enter the property complete with photos--so it was a breeze. There are also several municipal lots in the area for easy parking. The value proposition for this property is unparalleled. I already sent the information to a friend who's parents are planning to stay in the area.

My go to place when I’m staying in Hamilton! Great location, beds are very comfortable, it’s very clean and I feel very secure staying here. Staff is very responsive if you need anything.
Mark
Great space, lots of natural light and nicely finished unit with a fully equipped kitchen. Highly recommended for the price. No staff on-site but they are very responsive by phone, which was reassuring.
Only suggestion I would have is to include a usb-c or usb-a port somewhere in the unit (we forgot our charging brick, but assumed there would be a port to plug a cable into like most hotels have now in a lamp base or integrated into an electrical outlet).

Great location. Excellent food at the Plank restaurant downstairs. Clean and the laundry machine is handy. Self check in is easy and no hotel keys to worry about.

Great location for walking around, mini mart close by, pubs with patios on the block, room was quiet and comfortable, communication with the host was awesome.

I hate writing reviews. Just to preface how much I enjoyed my stay here. Worth writing a review.
The vibe, value for amenities and response rate was phenomenal. My experience with self check in has been horrible, so I was skeptical. I was wrong to be. This is basically a great apartment with a cool vibe. The street is active and vibrant, but the unit is quiet. There's a great bar and restaurant downstairs called Pkank. It was packed. Didn't hear a thing in my room late at night. And the restaurant is excellent.
Don't take the stairs though. Lol. I tried and got stuck like an idiot. Just wait for the elevator. ;)

Modern and airy space in an energetic area where there are lots of restaurants and bars. Kitchen is fully stocked, wish it also stocked tea bags and washroom products like lotion, q-tips to make it a perfect accommodating stay. Other than that I would bring family and friends here again!
G Douglas
A very clean, spacious apartment located in the city centre surrounded by restaurants, cafes and pubs. The kitchen is well appointed with appliances and supplies for cooking/eating in. A small supermarket is nearby. A very walkable location.
Alexandre
Stay was amazing, only thing for me was that there were no mention of safety deposit nowhere, I know that this is most hotels that requires it, if not all, but I think that since its a fee you must pay, it should be mentioned somewhere. Other than that, room was super clean, really nice looking
Michael
Great location and space!

Great place to stay
Rhian
The perfect spot for our family with young kids. We were able to stop in for naps, wash laundry - detergent was provided - so we could pack less, and cook meals instead of having to eat out with babies. Located a quick walk from the go station so catching the train into Toronto was super quick and easy. We ended up with a large rental vehicle so parking in the underground parkade was pretty tight but we were able to fit. Overall it was clean and quiet and we had a great time!
Whitney
The entire process was simple and communication about check-in came when they said it would.
Unit was VERY clean, and tidy. Furniture and decor were well done and clean
I only stayed ond night, so I didn't need any of the appliances (fridge/freezer, stove/oven, dishwasher and washer/dryer), but all the appliances were brand new and clean as well from what I saw.
Closet space galore.
From Hamilton, but moved away a few years ago. Was in town for a couple medical appointments, so I chose this location for proximity, but you can't go wrong with it's fantastic location and Augusta is a fantastic spot, especially if you are a foodie.
Would not hesitate to book again!

Overall, we had a great stay. The room was comfortable and nicely furnished, and the location was excellent for getting around and enjoying the area.
A couple of small improvements that could enhance the guest experience:
- Providing additional coffee for longer stays would be appreciated
- It would be helpful to communicate in advance that parking is limited and may require a reservation for those traveling by car

Place was nice and secure. There was no parking available so we had to find on street parking with meters. Worked out because we were there on Saturday night and they stop ticking after 6pm. Big concert in town so area got a little crowded and made eating out hard to find. A little noisy throughout the night with other guests coming and going. Overall a good place.
Michaela
Very pleased with our stay, was very clean and felt safe with secure code access to building, room and parking
Kaliden
Only complaint was the bedrooms not having a queen size bed which is not ideal for couples staying.
Brett
Great place, excellent location. Would definitely recommend.
Timothy
Great hotel and room and cool street
Dian
We were very pleased with location design and decor of suite simple not overwhelming clean everything you could need for your stay including washer combo dryer Next time we will book a longer stay
Brett
Great place / perfect location, clean, well appointed. I would definitely stay there again.
Ameet
Lots of space and a full kitchen.
Daniel Noel
Room is excellent. Include kitchenette with coffee pods and everything needed. When booking I was looking for a place with parking but could not reserve the parking until checking when I was told all spots were taken. But there are two 24 hour parking lots near by so no major problem just if you want to make sure you car is in secure parking may not be ideal. The restaurant located in the building was amazing. Highly recommend. It was called plank. Lots of bars and restaurants in the same street. So location and room was top notch. Glad I selected this place. We stayed one night.
Kate
The hotel itself was nice but there was a strong odor of cleaning products in the space and hallways. It also could have been cleaned better.
Temitope
The air conditioning was working, all facilities was top notch and the bed was comfy. It was home away from home and I enjoyed it.
If I ever have to stop by in Hamilton, I will definitely check in here again

Absolutely amazing stay! Will be staying here again soon !!

The coolest place!
Judith
I didn't use bar or laundry service. Rooms were beautiful, spotlessly clean - immaculate! Staff polite and respectful.
Gordon
The property and room are excellent, but there is no front desk staff. Check-in and parking arrangements are by text message, which as an experience leaves a lot to be desired.
John
The Laundry Room is a really nice place but a couple of things let it down.
The online check-in process is confusing. It should be a simple step by step process but it is not clearly described and things change. I was expecting emails as described but got expedia messages, whatsapp messages and emails.
Also it was a very cold time of year and the apartment is well heated but we could not lower the temperature in order to sleep. The thermostat was turned down to 16° but room temp stayed at 22.5°.

This place was awesome! Had everything we needed. The restaurant downstairs is top notch! Very clean.

Great room and location
Jessica
Was surprised at check in that there was no staff. You enter the hotel elevator bay via passcode and then must type it again in the elevator to get up to your room. I find this inconvenient compared to a regular keycard.
I booked a suite which was spacious, bright and clean. TV with included entertainment options lol Netflix was great. I don’t use the kitchen but it seemed well equipped (glassware, mugs, utensils, pans, dish soap, etc.)
The bathroom sink was slow to drain and the toilet seemed to have issues - water tank didn’t fill with water properly.
I booked very last minute so the price was high. The poor functionality of the bathroom took away from the entire experience. Suggest only booking at regular rates!

Responsive staff, spacious accommodations
Melanie
Even though I filled in all the paperwork in advance I wasn’t sent the codes to enter. They do not have staff on site and I had to call a couple of times to get it resolved. After we finally got in the place was nice. It looked like the photos. The art was cool. The kids liked the “balconies” mainly because they couldn’t figure out the purpose. It would be nice to have a table since there is a kitchen area. The beds are ok, not the most comfortable. The place worked for what we needed it for. The shower works well and is hot. Over all it was a good stay.
James
The unit was large and accurately depicted in the photos.
Check-in is a bit of online work, but still I’d say pretty easy.
Communication was great. Clear and quick to respond.
The only negative was The bathroom was missing a towel hook (could see where it HAD been on the door) and there was unfinished drywall spackle where a toilet paper holder used to be attached to the wall.
Would still say it’s a good value, great location, and would recommend.

Easy enough now you get the email with the access code !

The bar is always well stocked and the room is always warm.

Great place to stay if you need space and a small kitchen. The neighborhood is packed with places to eat and within walking distance of attractions downtown.

The apartment was really clean and cute. There's an additional room with a bunk bed, so lots of space. Great location - just a 2 minute walk from the Hamilton Go station. Lots of bars and restaurants as soon as you got out on the street. Great value for money!
Tracey
Great suite, everything we needed.
Brittany
Great stay!

Best location! I absolutely love the digital check in. It was very easy to manage everything ourselves. The rooms are adorable and huge compared to hotel standards. Laundry Rooms is 10/10. I’ll never stay at a conventional chain again in Hamilton.
Tracy
The room was clean, location was perfect.

Everything was great! Only thing that would have been a good thing to have was a fan/regular coffee.

Staff: Excellent. Amed was very helpful through the process.
Room: Great. Clean. Please fix the hard chairs for the table. They are coming off the seat structure. Easy fix. They are pressure fitted. They need some PL Plus.

Easy & safe 8 min walk to St Joseph’s Hospital (Charleton Ave) Lots of restaurants and food market nearby. Spacious accommodation with sitting area, very functional galley kitchen and comfortable bed.
No hair dryer & only 4 Nespresso pods for 2 adults ( 2 night stay).
Helpful communication via texts & kindly gave a later discharge time on short notice.
Would definitely choose to stay again.

Very hot in the bedroom even when we lowered the temp. Lots of cold air coming from the window. In the morning there was snow on the floor in front of the window.

My favourite hotel to stay, when I'm in Hamilton. Mini apartment, with kitchenette, laundry, seperate bedroom, livingroom / dining table. Location is perfect, walking distance or short drive to restaurants and downtown area.
Trisha
We appreciated the kind staff for allowing us to switch rooms to better accommodate my mom, having the extra bed ready, and allowing early check-in for us. We loved the layout of our apartment style rooms and safe garage parking.
Frank

Could use more storage for clothes for extended stays

We always stay at the Laundry rooms while in Hamilton. This time we had an issue with the toilet. We called the emergency number and spoke with Amal. He was quick, responsive, and had an immediate solution. We love this hotel!
