friendly helpful staff, quiet, clean
Sandra
I was not informed at check-in that breakfast was unavailable as the restaurant was closed. Since there was no one else checking in at the same time as me, the clerk had lots of time to mention it. There was a tiny sign on the door of the unlighted restaurant with that information but it was the responsibility of the clerk to tell me it was closed. He also said tha Expedia was not clear in defining a ground floor room. Like most people. I expected the word to mean street level, but it is actually one floor below. It was fine, but confusing. Your other clients might object seriously to the wording. Because of where it was, the room had a second door that led to the parking lot, which might make others uncomfortable. Clarity is of the utmost importance when describing the room accomodation,
Robert
I have appointments in a Hamilton Hospital every three weeks and find the Visitors Inn close to the hospital and and the front desk staff are always very friendly and welcoming. The rooms are always near and clean and the beds and pillows are very comfortable to sleep on.
Scott
When coming to Hamilton we always stay at the Visitors Inn.
Jeff
Was a pleasant experience
Brent
Always love staying here. Rooms are clean, quiet, and the bed is super comfortable. Highly recommend.
Lauren
The pool area is great and super clean. The rooms and hallways are also clean and smell fresh. Only downside was that the restaurant was closed and there was no body wash in our shower.
Juliet
We’re keep coming back because it feels like home. Clean, quiet, comfortable and the ambiance is welcoming
JOHN
The rooms were spotless, the property & grounds beautifully maintained. The restaurant was closed, but lots of options close.
Larissa
Spacious rooms. The restaurant was closed during our stay.
Bryan
Restaurant was closed.
Jay
What a great budget-friendly spot! Was only a short stay but I was impressed with the cleanliness, amenities and service. Friendly staff!
Dave
Overall great experience. Clean, polite and helpful staff.
Great pool and facilities. The free laundry was great. we were here for a baseball tournament so uniforms could get washed.
Cons- No onsite restaurant and no option for breakfast. Would have been nice to know before booking.
Parking lot is extremely awkward for for anything other than compact vehicles. Was very difficult to navigate in a pick up truck.

My stay here was awesome. Room was very cleaned and smelled fresh. The staff were an excellent. I highly recommend staying here.
Michele
The hotel is nice..staff and room wonderful. The hotel has a restaurant but is not open at this time. Hotel is not near anywhere to get a decent coffee or breakfast. You are paying the same price as many hotels who offer either a breakfast(free or pay) or are beside a Tim Hortons. Will not return until restaurant is open.
Michael
The check in was fast and friendly, the room was clean and comfortable, and we couldn’t have asked for a better location. It was very quiet and we slept very well. Bonus kitchenette. Very convenient having a fridge.
We walked to Westdale Village and McMaster University. And it was easy to take public transportation to and from airport. We would stay here again if we came to Hamilton.

There were kids being loud. Running around the hallway at 7am. But overall it was a great experience, we made our own food in the room with the kitchenette. The staff were friendly. The room was very clean.
Thomas
No operating restaurant on premise at this time.
Tanya
The property had a door from our room to the outside parking lot which was great, but the room had clearly been smoked in and when the shower was running the nicotine was dripping from the ceiling. Yuck
heli
Always a great stay. And good sleep.
Susan
No breakfast
Sabine Ellen
Very friendly, clean hotel in great location, close to the Campus and downtown Hamilton. Nice pool and hot tub and sauna. The only downside was that the breakfast restaurant was under renovation
Michael
I have stayed at the Visitors Inn many times and I always enjoy my stay. Clean, quiet, spacious, well-equipped rooms. Friendly, helpful staff. Bus stop to downtown very close to the hotel.
Paul
Excellent stay with superior room and helpful/friendly staff. Thank you!
Kyle
Great hotel
Zoe
The staff and room were amazing for the price! The bed was comfortable and the hotel was nice and quiet, it was a very relaxing night. The rooms are nicer than the photos show, they are the same rooms but they feel more open and way bigger than they seem in the pictures. I would absolutely stay here again!
Julie
The staff were very helpful.
Richard
The property is very clean and tidy.
Our only disappointment was not having an eating section. We were
looking forward to a free complimentary breakfast.

The website lists that there is a full breakfast but there was not. There is no restaurant on site, it closed down a couple of months ago. Very misleading.

June
We were assisting with a move so had our truck loaded with items we were delivering the next day. We were extremely pleased to find the King room we'd booked is on the rear ground floor allowing us to park right outside our room and even be able to access our vehicle directly from the room. The bed was very comfortable, the towels soft and the shower hot...much appreciated after a strenuous day!
Kim
nothing to add except I hate filling out surveys
Sasha
Clean room and pool area. Sauna was a bonus. Quiet.
IRENA
We didn’t have breakfast or any meals at the hotel
Judith
Everything was perfect. Clean, updated, close to amenities, reasonable rates, great staff. However, the restaurant was closed as it was transitioning to a new owner. Our room was equipped with
a kitchenette so that was not an inconvenience for us but some might find it so.

The hotel itself was very clean and the pool and hot tub was amazing but the accommodations for breakfast was not the greatest they were closing the restaurant entirely and we only got 20 percent for one breakfast and it still came to 37 dollars after the one time discount , the wifi was not the greatest but it was comfortable and security was on site at night which was good
Abigail
best hotel definitely recommend it
Mallory
Had an excellent stay. Was close enough to get to downtown but far enough away to not be in a loud area. Staff was very friendly and nice. Would definitely stay again if I am in the area.
Drew
The hotel was lovely and clean, however, there is NOT breakfast available. If you want breakfast you have to pay for it. It was misleading to read there is breakfast available, when in fact, it is not.
Mary
Nice hotel, location not that handy, but ok if you have a car. Rooms a bit dated but clean. We bought breakfast at the restaurant and this was very good.
Mark
Friendly staff and very clean

Check in was supposed to be 2, a room wasn’t ready for us until 4:50. At 4:10 staff advised room would be 5 more minutes.. ended up being 40 mins later. Breakfast time ended too early. We were in town for the monster truck event, late check in affected the whole evening. We had to squeeze in dinner, to try not to be late for the show. Waiting for that long with 2 small children is a huge inconvenience.
Laurie
The hotel is super clean.

We really enjoyed the pool, hot tub and sauna. This hotel gives you a lot of amenities for the money, and it feels very welcoming too.

stephanie
Great stay overall! The hotel was very clean, the staff were excellent, and the bed was extremely comfortable. The amenities were also a nice bonus. While the building itself isn’t brand new or ultra-modern, it’s clear that the rooms have been thoughtfully updated and the property is very well maintained. As long as you’re not expecting a newly built hotel, it’s a fantastic place to stay.
Stephen
Very clean and quiet hotel. No bad things to say really.
Kimberley
Good clean hotel at a reasonable price. Nice size pool and good restaurant onsite
Candace
Very clean, bed was comfortable, quiet area and able to park by our room. The staff were very nice and accommodating. We did not eat there as there are many restaurants within a 15 minute drive. The pool looked nice but we did not bring suits. We ran the ATB race and were able to get a late checkout. We will definitely stay there again. Highly recommend for the price, staff and convenience.
