Food choices were very limited with few local food options mainly \"western menu\". Internet was not good enough to work from hotel room. Beach was very ordinary. Outside environment was not inviting. Meals were expensive. Service was good. No water activities provides. Snorkelling very poor.

Serious concerns about our stay. My wife and I stayed here seven years ago, and we had a wonderful experience at that time. That memory is why we chose to return and why we paid a much higher price than other options. We expected a clean, calm, and enjoyable visit, but our experience this time has been very disappointing.

Our room is not clean. The floor is very dirty, the walls have visible dirt, and there is mold in the bathroom. The toilet does not function properly, and it is extremely difficult to flush. We also have centipedes crawling into the room, which has made the space feel uncomfortable and unsanitary. The beach near the property is also dirty, which adds to the overall poor experience. In addition, there was a snake in a tree by the pool that terrified several guests, and after breakfast my wife saw two rats near the restaurant. We tried to overlook issues at first, but the problems have continued to grow.

Today made things even harder. We had a stressful day involving difficult news from back home, and we had very little to eat. We went to the restaurant to finally have dinner, and I brought a bottle of my own alcohol to have a drink with the meal. We were told there would be an extra charge for bringing it. Because of this, we canceled our order.

This hotel is an average one. I thought we are going to get an upgrade but did not. We arrive early at the hotel but waited for two hours to get our room as it is early to check in. The room they gave us is not what I expected. The hotel is quite old. I paid in Expedia a breakfast buffet but turned out it was ala carte.
Aside from it is a beach front property nothing special in this hotel.

Absolutely wonderful hotel - right on the beach.

What an amazing hotel! Loved it! Just the right size with staff very friendly and personal and loved that breakfast was a la Carte and not smorgasbord. Pool was big enough and lots of sun beds both facing pool and the beach. Room was large and outside bed on the balcony was a lovely added touch. Perfect hotel for families, couples and “oldies”. Close to shops and massages and right on the beach. Would definitely recommend and would stay again for sure!

Mostly positive experience

Positive experience in Sadara Resort. A La Carte menu for breakfast was great and room very spacious and comfortable. Nice touch to give us a breakfast bag filled before our morning flight which we both appreciated.

The only negative to say was that the restaurant was undergoing renovation and the gym was soon to be opened.

The second restaurant undergoing renovation was a bit of an eye sore as work continued to go ahead. It would have been nice as customers to have this acknowledged and therefore make up for this experience and be a hotel that goes further for guests to make up the ‘failings’ - it is not the current guests fault that we arrived a little before high season that we cannot use the gym and have to be the ones exposed to renovation work.

A five stars hotel that need better management.

This supposedly 5 Stars is very understaff. The in room bar service only provide 2 bottles of drinking water. I asked for more but they said I will have to pay. 1st time a 5 Stars hotel wants to charge for 3rd bottles of drinking water. There is a day bed on the balcony but would be nice to have a ceiling fan. This hotel has good potential to be better but need a better management. Like location wise is fair. Being near the main road. There are much traffic noise.

Stayed here 2 years ago and the standard is still high. Always staff walking around cleaning the yards. The staff go out of their way to remember certain things etc. Flat white, half strength, extra hot. A credit to all the staff. I would recommend this resort anytime and will be back again.

What a treat Sadara Boutique Resort is!! Yes, it has age, but rooms are clean and spacious, pool and grounds are well maintained, restaurant provides quality food (breakfast is exceptional).
Staff are so friendly and accommodating and they love Gelato from just up the road.

Excellent hotel. Loved every minute. Breakfast was INCREDIBLE! Every day you got what was like an a la carte style breakfast menu to pick from. Included in the room.
Ate at the restaurant too and it was better than any meals we had when out.
Pool area is gorgeous.
No real complaints, only to say the room was a little basic, but had great air con and a comfy bed.
Also the beach was so busy with jet ski’s etc. that you couldn’t really swim.
But really on the whole, everything was 10/10. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone

This resort was average. The outlook over the beach was nice if you have a room facing that way and the restaurant and bar area must be the area that was recently refurbished because it was newer and pleasant. The rooms are tired and the furniture needs replacing. The staff were friendly, except at reception, however communication was difficult due to limited english. The food at the restaurant was of a good standard. The gardens were beautiful but this was not enough to compensate for the negatives. We did pay extra to have a room with a jacuzzi which meant we had a nice outlook but the maintenance area was right next to our room which meant we had caretakers walking past continually. Overall I was disappointed compared to other places we stayed in Bali.

Where do I start…the rooms are older than they look in the pictures. The venue definitely needs an upgrade. They asked for a deposit in order to use an adapter which out it the 7 resorts we stayed at, this was a first. There was a gap between the door and top wall which allowed bugs to enter. The restaurant staff in black shirts were kind and attentive but there was one particular chubby restaurant staff member in a white shirt who was rude and did not pay attention to you if you were not Caucasian. They did set up dessert in our room and honeymoon decor which was nice but overall would never recommend. 3 star rating 👍

Look, it’s not perfect for sure, our toilet seat was broken, there was a small ceiling leak, and the poolside music was a bit too loud BUT it was more than made up for by excellent friendly staff, great restaurant and it’s small boutiqueness meaning a resort not heaving with bodies. Our room was huge, with a super king bed and a marble modern bathroom. We stayed here 4 nights which we thin
K is enough as not a lot to do in the Nusa Dua area. We would certainly return here again. 5/5 in our opinion

Good location very calm compared to busy Kuta. This place is in a good location for water sport fanatics. The pool and ocean view is great! The room could have been cleaned better. Bathroom was dirty along with the sheets. Sheets were clean but had some yellow stains that could not be removed? They tried to hide them by tucking them or folding them. The restaurant service is very slow and everyone moves at a slow pace. I had ordered toast with my meal and never received it. Not the best food.

I spent 8 days at Sadara & as a solo traveller I always do a fair bit of research. Hotel is in a quiet location, which was what I was looking for. But don’t expect the liveliness of Seminyak or Kuta.
I was overall happy with my stay, just don’t think it warrants 4.5 star rating.
Positives:
Staff were always lovely, friendly & welcoming. Breakfast was from a menu but always great. Pool & beach comfort amazing. Shuttle to the mall Bali Collection at 12 & 4pm. Free foot massage was great.

Negatives:
Resort itself is tired & doesn’t look like the pictures, quite dark. Other guests would reserve pool lounges at 630am so even if you were up early, majority were taken up even if they didn’t turn up until 10. No one monitored that. Beach isn’t worth swimming in - it’s for water sports mainly, doubt you’d want to go in.

Very friendly and accommodating staff. Room was alright, definitely outdated. Wifi in the room was pretty crappy, needed an adapter for the plugs, and toilet was in need of help. Breakfast was alright, ala carte style was nice though as opposed to buffet. Free 15 minute foot reflexology included for every guest, this was lovely! and definitely got me to spend more on other spa services. “private beach” was not much of a beach. The water near this hotel was filled with seaweed and trash and you were not really able to swim there as it’s a reef and quite shallow plus there are tons of boats and jet skis driving around right out front. If you are a beach person I would suggest a different resort, but the pool was nice.

Friendly helpful smiling courteous staff, great pool setting with great sun loungers. It's as it says ..boutique..a nice small compact hotel so not slot of people about...lovely beach pool setting for eating at...breakfast included in rate was exceptional.
Hotel itself is tired , tiles missing round some of the pool, wood work in bathrooms and rooms need replacing, but in saying that ..rooms large quiet adequate for cost. Near food stores and eateries .The beach is tidal, we were lucky with tide as it was in, in the morning and most of the day , but low tide not so pretty and not a good picture ..but that is the same at all the hotels down the strip and the tourist boat rides stopped. Anyway based on cost, location and facilities I would go back again. Rooms 209 -211 get views of sea and pool area.

I just stayed here for a week & it was great! Staff was awesome & everything beautiful.

Breakfast had so many selections. I also had supper here a couple of times as well & was great. There are some choices down the road.

This isn’t a beach hotel...the swim area is very small but when you walk down the beach it’s all the hotels that don’t have big swim areas but the pool was great!

I would definitely stay here again!

This hotel was nice, with a beautiful pool, however the location was awful. The beach is unswimmable / unwalkable and we had to stay at the pool our entire stay. The surrounding area didn't have much to offer, and it would have been helpful if the staff were able to recommend day trips in the area, because there are beautiful beaches/sites less than an hour from the hotel. The staff is friendly and the hotel clean, but I wouldn't stay here again.

Very loud rooms during the night!!

We got a room where you could hear every motorcycle on the street, so I complained on the first day that it was impossible to get some sleep there. In a four and a half star hotel I expect it to be really quiet in order to get a good rest and that was not the case. After two days we got a second room where they promised to be vert quiet but it was exactly the same! The worst nights of my trip to Southeast Asia where there!

Hotel staffs are amazing and honest. We requested to change room as it was a little dusty for my allergies sensitive skin and forgotten to take our items in the safe with us. The hotel staffs helped to kept it safely and returned to us.

The rooms are a little old. Breakfast was good - made to order. The beach is not as clean with rubbish floating on shores and too many water activities happening in the background.

small quiet hotel on the beach

The Sadara hotel is in a great location. It is right on the beach with lovely sea breezes. It is a smaller hotel which means my stay is always quiet and peaceful. The pool area is never crowded or noisy. It has restaurants within 5 minute walk. Supermarket next door with Commonwealth ATM. The balconies are large to enable friends lounging with you watching the water sports wizzing by. A lovely Pool bar and a nice warm pool that means you can sit at the. pool bar forever. Breakfast has great variety of food to try. Service is always 5 star. Has room service with nice tasty items on the menu. The hotel has a lovely massage service however there are multiple massage shops across the road with very cheap prices for a massage for an hour under $10 Australian. There are several much bigger hotels near by it you want to walk for 5 minutes along the beach path to try another pool.
