The staff at the hotel were pleasant especially Edi, our room was a little dated but hotel is being revamped. Work is tucked away and not intrusive. Pools were amazing but need more beds to lie on. Struggled to find some at 10am. Breakfast was ok, a bit manic trying to find free tables and very warm - need more fans. Restaurants were good and the Wednesday show was good with lovely food - all eaten just before the thunderstorms!!
5* hotel in lovely area. Great for walks.

Our stay was just ok. The staff was great, the hotel looked awesome and the beach was nearby. The pool closed too early 7pm so we only had access to the pool at the spa. The basic room didn’t even come with a sofa chair or sofa and the hotel didn’t have luggage racks which was wierd but we made it work. We were moved to one of the Presidents Club rooms but they weren’t very well ventilated and my wife had a hard time breathing in the room. They moved us again to another room and gave us an additional fan to cool and ventilate the room since the AC couldn’t be adjusted in the rooms. They had a strict temp set automatically and couldn’t be changed. We most likely will not visit Bali again unfortunately.

Husband and I stayed here to 'treat ourselves' for an anniversary 8 day Bali trip having never tried Nusa Dua.
When we arrived was a great first impression. An authentic Balienese feel and look. Walked the grounds and very well kept and beautiful. Lobby, grounds and beach view look grand. We were directed to what appeared to be a conference type room for a reception check in which was seamless. We had arrived early but they were accommodating and after a short wait were taken to our room.
Staff were great as was the fantasic breakfast. 10/10 for that.
Unfortunately for a supposed 5* the room was dated and was not 5* quality. We have stayed in better at 3* hotels tbh. Bed was comfy and pillows fluffy and room was clean but the wear and tear within the room was apparent. Plug sockets removed and plastered up, some hanging out, tiles needing TLC, mirrors tarnished, towels were definately passed thier use by date and fraying and chrome work peeling off towel rails etc.
We tried one of the restraunts on the resort and was mediocre at best and expensive. We went to the Bali Collection and found much better food at more reasonable prices. Nusa Dua itself is not an area we will return too as no real atmosphere. Just an fyi - if you are a smoker (which i am much to the hubbys dislike) you can only smoke at the downstairs dedicated outside bar area or out the front so no sitting on your terrace or balcony enjoying a coffee in a morning.

As the oldest hotel in Nusa Dua, every corner of this property feels like a living museum. It has a dignified, timeless atmosphere that you simply won’t find in modern Western hotel chains. From the intricate wall carvings to the beautiful temple within the gardens, everything is full of character and charm.

The lush greenery adds so much to the ambiance—mature trees, deep greens, and expansive gardens create a sense of calm and serenity. The pool never feels crowded, and there were always deck chairs available, which made relaxing effortless.

One of the joys of walking through the grounds is encountering the many animals that live here: peacocks, squirrels, ducks, egrets, bats, turtles, and koi fish. These little moments made every stroll feel special and heart-warming.

We stayed in a Palace Club Room, and the breakfasts and afternoon teas in the lounge were pure bliss. The staff were consistently warm and smiling, with excellent customer service throughout our stay.

There were also some truly unique experiences: a fruit-carving lesson with a chef who has won numerous awards, and even the chance to play squash with a member of the gym staff who is an Indonesian squash champion.

What truly stood out was not just the beauty of the hotel itself, but the people. Every staff member added something special to the experience. A wonderful balance of stunning surroundings and heartfelt hospitality.

I will return to Bali and I will stay here again. Beautiful, clean, attentive friendly service. Excellent food and entertainment. Spotless pools and clean beach, all with food service. Room was clean with comfortable bed. Massage at the spa was flawless. There is so much happening here that there is no reason to leave. I have no idea what the rest of Bali is like! All my needs and desires were met with a smile.

This was our fourth stay at this wonderful hotel, and it continues to exceed every expectation. The staff are truly amazing—warm, attentive, and consistently accommodating, making us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived. The breakfast is fabulous, with a variety and quality that make each morning a pleasure.
The location is perfect, offering easy access to everything while still feeling peaceful and relaxing. The hotel itself is beautiful, with a serene garden that invites you to unwind and enjoy the surroundings. Everything is impeccably clean, and the on‑site restaurants are exceptional—each meal was a delight.

Initial view is that the hotel generally is a quality option, but there are shortcomings given this is rated as a 5* facility; The rooms are clearly due for refurbishment internally; The aircon in one half of the gym was not working; Only 3 restaurants available for evening dinner and often we turned away from eating around the 6pm time slot as they were booked up that evening or evening after; we had to book at least 2 days ahead in the end; Furthermore, the restaurants often did not have any of the duck or lamb dishes on the menu and sometimes certain drinks were unavailable to us and this occurred a number of times. Content with this holiday, but would I return, probably not.

We had a nice stay at Nusa Dua beach hotel, major highlights were the extensive and delicious breakfast buffet and the great gym with modern clean equipment. However the rooms were not at the standard I personally expected for the price range and the 5 star hotel rating. Rooms definitely need updating, bar fridges and aircon not cold enough. The hotel is also very large and has a confusing layout. I have been to Bali many times however have not stayed in Nusa Dua previously. The hotel and entire area is in a gated type community which is fairly isolating and doesn't feel like real Bali but this is just my opinion! If you like a resort type holiday and would like to sit by the pool relaxing then it would suit you, but for the price point I feel this hotel doesnt offer value for money.

An absolutely spectacular resort and complex - expansive, well maintained gardens with peacocks and local wildlife. Tidy beach, excellent variety in food choices at very reasonable prices. Kids club was extremely friendly and well attended. Highly recommend booking Palace Club access - this was definitely a superior breakfast (the main buffet is huge, well supplied but busy and chaotic feeling) and cocktail hour is delightful. A truely relaxing place to be, and exceptionally friendly staff. Sauna and cold plunge pool was a delightful luxury. Thank you so much, we will definitely return!

The only thing which could have been better is the room, and the aircondition. The room never got colder than 23,5 degreese, even if you put it to 20 degreese.

This wasn't the first time we stayed at this hotel but most likely the last. It all started when we arrived at hotel at 2:30pm 30min before the official check-in time (3pm). We booked 2 rooms but only 1 was ready and we were given the key for that 1 room at 14:50 and was told by check-in lady that the second room will be finished soon and that the key will be delivered to the room that we check-in. After 1h I receive the email that come and get the key from reception, I rang the front desk and then they brought me the key to second room but 2h later we found out that the air-conditioning wasn't working in the room and hotel stuff came to fix it. Service of the hotel restaurant stuff was very bad, people working at the hotel restaurants preferred to talk between themselves rather then serve people who are actually paying them top money. You can sit in the restaurant but no one would came and take your order for 30min and then the food won't get delivered to the table until 10min sitting on the kitchen table and you can see all that with your own eyes. I saw multiple people complaining about number of different things including what I have just mentioned. Last time we stayed in this hotel in 2018 before they became ACCOR group and everything was excellent but not this time. Food was good including breakfast, hotel became a bit old and runned down as specialy rooms but they still charge top dollar.

Rooms are old and run-down, and the hotel is clearly in need of serious maintenance—pool tiles are falling off everywhere which was actually dangerous.

Guests were allowed to hog/reserve poolside spots with towels all day (even without being at the pool) leaving very few places for other guests. Hotel should manage this or provide more seating for guests.

This place feels neglected and outdated. I’d strongly recommend staying at one of the newer, modern resorts in Nusa Dua instead.

We had a wonderful stay at this resort! It beautifully blends traditional Balinese charm with modern comfort. The gardens are lush and immaculately maintained, and the beach is just steps away. There are also many pools to choose from! The staff were lovely and attentive, always ready to help. We had 3 rooms booked for a group of 6 and they were spacious, clean, and had a lovely view of the gardens.
If you're looking for a lovely beachfront resort with authentic atmosphere and great service, this place truly lives up to its name. Would definitely return!

This was a perfect luxury first trip to Bali. Hotel staff were professional, respectful, friendly and all ready to help. The guest relations team even surprised me with a cake and beautiful roses on my birthday. I completely appreciated that thoughtful gesture! And since our flight home was midnight, they were gracious and allowed us full use of the facilities before leaving for the airport. We stored our luggage with concert, hung out at the beach and took a shower at the spa. Thank you Nusa Dua Hotel and Spa for a fabulous first trip to Bali!

We stayed with the Nusa dua beach hotel for the last part of our 3 week trip and how amazing it was!! We was celebrating our anniversary and my birthday and we were lucky enough to get a free upgrade with our room. The staff were incredible and made our trip with the resort amazing!! The resort itself is beautiful with so many amenities and dining options especially being right on the beach.

We will 100% be back to stay as we absolutely loved it, was definitely a highlight of our trip.

We booked 2 rooms from different website. The check in took quite a time, it’s the longest check in I had have experienced, I booked through hotels.com, and it said free breakfast for kids but when I checked in they said I booked from the third party expedia and I need to pay extra for my daughter’s breakfast, the rate at hotels.com is overpriced.
The room is okay, just we have bad luck with the guest from the room next door who always having conversation at night on the phone with very loud voice and sometimes screaming, we could not sleep well.
The hotel and surrounding is nice especially the beach.

This property is fabulous! Large rooms with lovely Balinese decor. The resort is large with beautifully manicured grounds. So many restaurant options and very reasonable prices. They have live shows with dinner buffets several nights per week. Great food & great show. Free pool & beach chairs. The breakfast buffet is huge. All employees so sweet & kind. We are from the USA & this type of resort would cost soooo much more in the USA, Hawaii or Caribbean. Grab (like Uber) operates in Bali. Plus you can hire a driver & car for a very reasonable price.

Property is very grand, has great facilities and the location is good. Checking was easy but the reception staff wasn't helpful and didn't give proper information with respect to the location of the room. We were given the back facing room when actually we booked the pool facing room. We were told that the room is at the prime location, when reported we were asked to wait for 3 hours. After 3 hours of wait and hoping to get our preferred room, we were taken to the back of the hotel with the longest walk to the main facilities. The housing keeping staff was very inactive, had to call twice each time and to the reception to get the things resolved. The shower and th toilets in our room had poor quality installation with slippery floor. The T.V wasn't working. Restaurants were good but over priced.

All staff were very friendly and accommodating. The buildings and grounds are beautiful and aging gracefully. We enjoyed our dinners: service, menu's and quality were terrific. The breakfast buffet was incredible. But expensive if not included in your package.

old world charm, pools and gardens are well maintained. Food options plentiful and reasonable price. Good vibe at the Tamarind restaurant by the beach. Beautiful expansive gardens. Polite and attentive services overall.

Suggestions for improvement
1. Set up queue line with CLEAR signage at check in check out area to avoid chaos, especially when many tour groups check in with other individuals guests. Please install some fans to improve ventilation over the check in counter so that guests dont have to suffer from 30c heat during queuing.

2. Update the rooms and air cons. My room at 4106 has a noisy AC unit right above my bed. Couldnt sleep til 5am from the noise. Had to use noise cancelling headphones to get over it. The bedsheet felt moist with stains on them
