Quirky b&b with great service & lots of character
We just stayed for one night. The Admiral Peary is different to the norm. It is more like staying as a guest at someone’s house. The rooms are themed, we had Serengeti, which was a nice touch. Donna is a great hostess and so keen to ensure you have a nice stay. The freshly cooked breakfast was very good. I would recommend staying at the Admiral Peary. It is a different experience!

Besides it being both dog friendly and clean, Donna, our host, was amazing. We booked very late in the evening, but Donna met us in the parking lot to introduce herself and give us an orientation. She took the time to ask about food allergies (my gf has a couple) which was pretty great. The next morning, we had put our dogs in the car while we were eating breakfast, as our youngest has separation anxiety and would have trashed the room. Donna allowed an exception to the no dogs in the kitchen rule, as everyone else had finished before us. Our pups were very excited. Breakfast was delicious and we left feeling like we just stayed with family. 10/10 will be back.

Very Lovely Inn
Stayed here with my boyfriend and absolutely loved the place! Loved our room! It was very cozy and warm with the stove. Donna was very nice and had outstanding hospitality. She made us feel at home. Breakfast was amazing... Blueberry french toast was to die for! Will definitely be going back to stay again. Highly recommend! :)

Pleasant stay. Enjoyable breakfast.
I already did this survey. Anyway, We had a pleasant overnight stay. Nice breakfast. Sasha was a delightful (but a bit overweight) cat. Wi-Fi worked well, which was very useful because this was a cell-phone dead zone (AT&T).
Roberta
Innkeeper, Donna, was delightful. Very knowledgeable of the area; made excellent suggestion for dinner. Served a yummy breakfast and spent time getting to know her guests.

Ideally located!
Cute rustic B&B, typical New England style. Donna is very helpful with recommendations in the area. Breakfast is different and delicious each day! Comfy. Close to the White Mountains for hiking etc.

Enjoyed our Stay
Donna was great host. The room and inn were very nice with plenty of character. The location on a quiet side street was a plus.

Unique,quirky and welcoming
We were touring New England over 16 days and stayed in 7 hotels/guesthouses. Of the 7, this is the one we will remember over the years. Rather than feeling processed, and seen as merely income opportunities, we felt invited into the home of Donna and treated as individuals. The communal breakfasts feel more like a house party, with Donna expertly keeping conversation going. The welcome is warm, the breakfasts good, and the accommodation clean and quirky. Our stay at Admiral Peary made our holiday.

Beautiful historic home in small town Maine
We were greeted warmly by the owner when we arrived and welcomed in. She showed us our room and the common areas of the home where visitors could gather. She also recommended nearby places to eat within walking distance. In the morning, a delicious breakfast was prepared and served.

Overnight Lodging for a Local Family Event
A Bed and Breakfast with all the comforts of home. Donna was a great hostess and paid attention to every detail to ensure our comfort and satisfaction. A great breakfast with coffee prepared with Poland Springs tap water--what a difference in making a great brew. House was indeed the residence of Admiral Perry who led the first expedition to the North Pole.

Donna - a hostess with the mostest!
Donna's B&B is clean, comfortable and felt like a little bit of home! We were greeted by Donna and the cutest dog with the best manners. Donna made sure that we were are comfortable and had all of the information that we needed to enjoy our stay and investigate the surrounding area.
She served a magnificent breakfast and we enjoyed the conversation with her other guests. It was so comfortable!

Characterful property, nice breakfast @ fixed time
Property is older and full of character. The owner is attentive and our room was nice. Breakfast is home-cooked and varied but the time is fixed. No TV in the room (doesn't bother us) but there is a shared lounge area downstairs with TV and a pool table.
The owner has a rarely-seen cat and a friendly dog: so probably better if you are comfortable with pets in the public areas.
