Great location. Rooms were comfortable and clean. The outdoor space was beautiful, pool, hot tub, large patio, firepit, grills, lawn games, playground. Area was beautifully landscaped.
If only there was breakfast offered this would have been perfect! I do recommend Golden Gables if you are visiting gorgeous North Conway.

We stayed for 10 days. During that time we did not have housekeeping 3 days. It required several calls to get fresh towels. The part of the facility that we were in was less roomy and up to date
than our family member’s room. I would not stay there again.

Hot tub was not working the 3 days we were there, and I'm sure a lot longer by the looks of it. Toilet seat in our room was broken, other than that the room was well maintained and clean!
Did not really have any interactions with staff, but they seemed friendly when we saw them outside.

The property was well maintained as we saw the staff collected trash in the early morning. It had a small outdoor pool and playground where kids could enjoy. The room we stayed was quiet and clean. No issue with wifi. Check-in was smooth and the staff was friendly to provide help. We were fine walking up to the room on the 2nd floor since there was no elevator. Be aware. Other than that, we were very satisfied with the hotel.

We have been to North Conway many times and this may be one of our favorite places we’ve stayed. In a great location close to all the best spots. Rooms are big and very clean with everything you would need inside- a big fridge & a microwave which is great for heating up leftovers! Property is very well maintained. 10/10 stay

Stayed one night with family. Power went out but Staff was quick to respond when contacted and it was restored within minutes. They even came to the room to make sure. Nice to have AC but it got a bit warm overnight. Room was good. Our room faced the Main Street and there was some road noise throughout the night. Overall a good stay.

The room was very nice with a private balcony which was great. The only thing I would suggest is some sort of welcome packet. For instance, a listing for the tv channels. It would have been very helpful to have a restaurant listing as well as what is in the area.

This place is a hidden gem! My family and I booked on a whim and absolutely loved it. We had our two young children with us and it was perfect for our family of 4. I will say, the smaller pool or hot tub was covered and under repair but the main pool was perfect! Grill a picnic area and playground for small children. Staff were super helpful and friendly. We will definitely book again.

We’ve stayed at this hotel before and always had a good experience. The quality has gone downhill since the ownership change. The property is run down, housekeeping was almost nonexistent, our balcony was dirty, and the pool area was in terrible condition. It needs a lot of TLC. We won’t be back.

Very friendly staff and easy and efficient check-in. Clean room and comfortable bed. We upgraded to the jacuzzi tub and it was wonderful; especially after a great hike. The pool was clean and ready to go. Disappointed that Expedia said it had a hot tub but it was not working (not the property error turns out). I would have booked at a different hotel if I knew the hot tub was not working but it was still a good stay. The air conditioning took awhile to cool the room- it was not turned on when we arrived so perhaps it could be turned on for incoming guests? Our dog enjoyed the stay as well.

Quiet and relaxing even with a fairly full occupancy. Comfortable beds, everything I would have expected at a much higher priced motel. The mimic split cooling system gave the familiar comfort of being home.

Great hotel, very reasonable prices for the area. The property is beautiful, and the pool small but clean and well maintained. Rooms are a bit dated, but again, clean and well maintained.

I had only one issue during my stay. I asked twice for someone to come deal with the wasp nest on my balcony and no one ever did, so that was disappointing.

Overall, I would absolutely stay again, just maybe not in that room!

This place had large rooms that were clean and comfortable. I was pleasantly surprised at how much natural light (with blackout curtains so you don't have to worry about being wakened by the Sun) there was in the room with windows and two doors (front and back) to each room. The grounds were green and pretty! The first night there were loud walkers upstairs of us, so we asked to move for the following night without incident. The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating.

I always stay here. A few things I noticed now that it's changed ownership. Keurigs are finally in the rooms!! I hated getting dressed to go out for coffee. Rooms are always spotless.
The hot tub was not working. It would have been nice had they mentioned it when I called to confirm. After a day of shopping, that's all I wanted to do.

The motel was very nice. The outside balcony was great, although the weather was to cold to enjoy. There was a beautiful area on the backside of the motel with a kids playground and a nice area to walk the dogs. We were on the front side and you could hear the traffic. We were close to restaurants and stores. Would certainly stay there again.

The room had an unpleasant smell, like something had been sitting there for a long time. There was a lot of hair and animal fur on the bed. We tried to contact someone to resolve this, but did not receive a response.

One of the most quiet stays I've had in a long time. Not one key pass issue as well. Was able to park right outside my door. I would improve are the sidewalk cleanliness. Definitely could have used a sweeping. Pine needles and leaves all over.

The room was clean but the wallpaper was peeling off in multiple locations. The walls are a bit thin so I'd recommend a sound machine. The playground onsite was perfect for my son and we spent a lot of time there. The location was great and it was close to the outlets for shipping, near several restaurants as well as the aquarium and Kahuna Laguna. Staff was very friendly and responsive. We really enjoyed our stay and I would stay again.

This is such a beautiful, clean place. Dogs are allowed in the back, and there is a railroad track that you can walk on with your dog. A lot of close stores are nearby, and we definitely would come again. The front desk was nice, and housekeeping was good.

Room was clean. Had a heating and hot water problem and had to be relocated. They “upgraded” us to a larger suite room, but it didn’t feel like an upgrade and it was super inconvenient for us. We had just wanted to relax in between our hikes and dry out our clothes, but instead we had to switch rooms in the dark after already settling in once. We were really turned off by this experience.

I liked the layout and mattresses were nice and thick.
However, when I pulled the linens back I saw eye makeup all over. Not stains - I could wipe it away with my finger. Gross.
I choose this location due to the ratings on cleanliness so that was disappointing.
I called the desk (from my cell, as the room phone didn't work) and someone did come over fairly quickly to change both beds.
An hour later, we wanted to watch TV but the one remote in the room wasn't the correct one and we weren't able to use the TV. I called the desk again, a couple times, but apparently nobody is there after 8 so we were out of luck. (I went by the desk the next morning and got the correct remote so we could use the TV on our second night)
Another issue we had, was when we arrived the room was very chilly. The thermostat was set on 60 so I changed it to 72 and it didn't appear to make much movement but we went to bed fairly quickly.
I will also say that year round, my husband and I keep our ceiling fan on high and we have an AC going so our room stays at 64 degrees.
The hotel room never made it past 60 and I woke up a few times needing to add socks and layers of clothes so I could sleep.
The next morning, when I got the correct remote, I let them know that the heat didn't appear to be working.
I was told someone would come by. When we arrived back later that day I saw they turned it all the way up and it was warm. So the thermostat isn't really reliable.
The staff was friendly.

It was fine for a little stay over. Not luxury by any means. Clean, and comfortable beds. TV needed a guide. The shower went from hit to cold without touching it. We had an ice storm and part of the walkway was crumbling.
