This hotel was so disgusting that our family made the decision to leave our stay after one day even though we knew we would be losing money for the days we had already paid for. The room smelt like wet dogs, the bedding was filthy, the hallways were litered with trash. The shower was so bad we refused to shower while here. And, the pool area looked almost abandoned with no cleaning of the pool or patio area. I would not recommend anyone staying here.

This property is disgusting. Nobody notified me that the property would be under construction. The exterior is Tyvek, boarded up windows, chipped paint. The inside is worse. The air in the room is mildewy. The toilet hadn't been cleaned in ages and was so disgusting, everything was dirty. There was mold on the bathroom ceiling. Obvious HVAC issues. When I brought up the cleanliness of the room to the front desk manager, she didn't care and was unwilling to help me. She told me the head of housekeeping was gone for the night and nobody could clean the room until the following day. She wouldn't even take my name or room number. She refused to give a refund, and I disputed it with Expedia and was refunded one of two nights. We didn't stay there. We couldn't. Don't waste your money. Spring a little more and go down the street to Cambria.

The hotel was being remodeled and it definitely needed updating! Bathrooms outdated and floors cracked, tub cracked and old. Smelly rooms. The hotel should have closed down or closed the floors they were renovating. Definitely wouldn’t have stayed here if we saw the condition it was in.

The staff is awesome and friendly and helpful. They are undergoing renovations so it wouldn't be fair to say it wasn't clean, it was, but there were a few things that I hope they include as the reno continues. The tub was worn and chipped. The bathroom door didn't close all the way. The controls for the AC didn't work. (The room was cool thankfully but we were unable to adjust it), phone is broken and all of the easily accessible outlets (at the bases of the lamps) were too loose to grip the plugs so had to move the nightstand to get an outlet to charge my phone. The TV remote was useless, all you could do was scan up and down, the guide button and channel numbers didn't work, it was weird. The pool was nice and clean, plenty of towels and a small outdoor area with some shade. Only 3 of the 8 or 9 jets in the spa were working. Breakfast was surprisingly good, lots of hot and cold choices and the coffee is amazing. Oh, the beds are super clean and comfortable. Overall for me I'd give it a 7 out of 10, but they'll be even better with the full renovation. 😁

Accommodations were atrocious. Cobwebs - peeling paint on the ceiling - refrigerator compressor loud enought to wake me up at night. Peeling lamination on furniture. Broken and cracked tile in bathroom. Sheets not changed. Peeling wallpaper. Heater vent rusted. Have pictures to back up these allegations. At over $200 a night this was a disaster.We belong to the Holiday Inn club was told to contact [email protected] have not contacted her yet. Very disappointed in IHG Brand at this point. We don't very often complain but this was absurd.

Our keys 6 times in 3 days! Free Breakfast was great, staff were kind and friendly! Pool was great for the grandkids! Downside construction staff sitting near the entrance doors smoking and swearing! Over all stay OK! IHG didn’t plan very well consider the occupancy was high because July is a big vacation week! I checked the IHG WEBSITE and they had no vacancies at this Holiday inn! We liked the convenient location to North Conway and Storyland, which was the reason for our stay. It was clean and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Downside was lack of quiet. We were on the first floor and could hear lots of running and footsteps above us. Also, the breakfast area is small for the number of guests. We got there at opening, so we were fine, but many guests were waiting for a table to open up.

does the job but desperate for renovations

I've stayed here before in years past. It is convenient and does the job. However this hotel is in desperate need of renovation and cosmetic repair.
Paint chipped off the wall, water stains on the ceiling. Old carpet that is stained. There are several options for accommodation in the area, so I'm surprised that they have not cleaned up their hotel to compete as there is a LOT of competition in the area.
The staff was amazing and friendly, and made us feel at home.

I am so disappointed the hotel was under renovation which was not mentioned anywhere. We stayed on the third floor which there was dust everywhere which i am highly allergic to. The air conditioning was not working which it was super hot o. the third floor. I went to use the phone to call front desk which didn’t work there wasn’t even a cord attached. Then i used my phone to call the front desk I called for over an hour and no one answered. There were no light bulbs in the light in my room and it smelt like gas on the first floor as well. I asked to speak to a manager twice and still a day and 1/2 later have not heard from anyone I will be calling corporate on Tuesday. My sister stayed on the first floor and there was moldy food in her refrigerator along with other things wrong as well.

This hotel is in need of some repairs and just general work. When we got to the lobby, there is working being done. We checked in and arrived at our room, we found out room to be one door away from what we are told is just a paint job - but it looks worse. It was dusty and terrible. Our door was open and the toilet didn’t work. I called down to get a new room and we were moved a door down - directly next to the work being done. The inside was fine - although the tub needed a replacement. The pool was gross - lots of balls of hair and needed a cleaning. The only good thing was the man in charge of the breakfast. He is delightful! Pics are of what we saw from our hallway door.

Nice, reasonably priced place. Stayed there one weekend while coaching some races at Attitash, and liked it enough to stay there again for races the following weekend. The front desk staff was friendly and accommodating and the guy in charge of the nice free breakfasts (with a really cool pancake making machine) was awesome!!

The hotel was being renovated & dust was everywhere. Our room smelt musty. When i was showering, the shower wasn't completely clean. Long black hair on the walls & floor of the shower. Plus, the shower tub floor was extremely slippery & I slipped & fell out of the shower. Even the handicap bar was slippery & I couldn't hold onto it as I fell. I had to yell for help & get my wife to help me up off the bathroom floor.

This hotel is very unkept! They have been renovating for the past 4 years and the rooms still smell musty, wall paper peeling off around the windows, and tub was absolutely disgusting! We had to change rooms cause we couldn’t breathe in the first room! Jacuzzi wasn’t very hot and the pool kept overflowing into it! The only good thing about this place was the breakfast and the gentleman who runs the breakfast (Leslie) was very nice to talk to! If you’re looking for comfort and cleanliness it’s not here! Probably won’t be back

Only disappointment was that walls are paper thin and it sounded like my neighbors rambunctious kids were in my room.

Hotel currently seems to have an agreement with an out of state contractor to store all there trucks, supplies, in parking lot so parking is limited. Our room had ant problem in bathroom, tub drained slowly so you showered in standing water. There’s better options

The hotel is short staff for cleaning and it showed. Many guests at the pool were complaining how dirty their rooms were. We weren’t the only ones that found someone else’s hair in our bed or someone else’s hair on the dirty bathroom floors. Even a quick swifter could fix that. I’ve learned to bring my own sheets and cleaning supplies but the others I don’t think you’ll see again. Front desk staff was very nice

The level of friendliness was through the roof!! Celebrating our 15 year anniversary was a delight staying here. The gentleman who maintains the breakfast area went above and beyond. This hotel was a huge disappointment. The actual hotel itself is dated, which I do not mind. However, our room was disgusting. There was hair from previous guests in the bathroom sink, and the shower. The room was so dusty on the end tables and lamps I could have written a message in the dust with my fingers if I wanted. There was a liquid spilled and dried all over the thermostat, which I’m assuming was from a previous leak as the ceiling was stained yellow in certain spots. Definitely will not be returning if I stay in the area again.

The room was infested with bugs, mildew on ceilings and walls, shower enclosure was broken, ceiling falling down in corner of room, sheets and bedspread were dirty, phone did not work, lights in our room did not work, light bulbs were missing, floor in bathroom cracked, filthy rugs in our room and hallways, lobby was filthy. When we arrived they increased the cost of the room. I have pictures of everything that I have mentioned and would be happy to send them to you. We complained the first night we were there and they said they would bring us light
bulbs and inspect the room and not one person came. when we checked out we complained and the woman was very apologetic and said all the rooms were the same. We feel that we should be
reimbursed for the total cost of the

Tried a new place but the hotel is being redone so there are people working around the clock 24/7 so its noisy. The rooms don't have any usb ports to charge anything. No late checkout on Sundays. When i called about extra towels the said they couldn't bring any to me because they didnt have enough staff. For the cost of staying here during the holiday season you'd expect enough staff on hand that you could get extra towels. I wouldn't stay there again, I'd go back to the Residence Inn across the street.

My experience was far from pleasant. From the moment we walked into the room, it felt old, dirty, and unwelcoming. The bathroom was a major disappointment – the shower had noticeable rust stains, and the toilet was left with unpleasant brown stains (you get my drift) so the toilet was not cleaned prior to our arrival, making it feel grungy and unhygienic. There was also long strand of hair on the floor. The Keurig in the room was covered in dust, clearly not cleaned in a while and the room itself was outdated. The breakfast was equally disappointing. By the time we went for breakfast (7:30), they had already run out of bagels, the sausage patties were like rubber, and the breakfast sausages looked undercooked. There were no eggs left within the first hour of breakfast service and was not replenished that we noticed, and to top it off, they ran out of hot water, so I couldn’t even make a cup of tea. We had to go next door to McDonalds to have breakfast. Overall, the hotel desperately needs a thorough cleaning and some serious updates. It was not a comfortable or enjoyable stay, and I would not recommend it.
