The room was updated. The bathroom was nice and modern. Ready first four room with a slider to our room. Unfortunately the 2 nights we were there. 10+ people were partying outside our room on a small grass section and slamming doors at all hrs of the night inside. We won’t be staying here.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this experience was bad enough that I feel obligated to warn others—especially families.

From the moment we entered our room, it was clear it had not been properly cleaned. There was visible dust throughout, spots all over the floor, smears covering the glass shower door, and soap scum still coating the shower walls. It felt unsanitary and completely unacceptable.

The situation got worse when we discovered the toilet was not functioning properly and would not flush correctly. After putting up with it for hours, we contacted the front desk—only to be met with poor customer service. Instead of addressing the issue professionally, we were blamed for the problem and told we had to switch rooms at nearly 10 PM, while traveling with a child. Packing everything up that late at night because of an issue that existed before we even checked in was incredibly frustrating and unnecessary.

The amenities were just as disappointing. The pool was ice cold and clearly not maintained at a usable temperature, and the hot tub was outright filthy—covered in scum with visible sand inside. It was unusable and honestly concerning from a hygiene standpoint.

Overall, this hotel failed on every basic level: cleanliness, maintenance, and customer service. What should have been a simple, comfortable stay turned into a stressful and frustrating experience. I would strongly advise others to look elsewhere.

So I had read previously about pool issues in some online reviews and so I specifically called ahead before making my booking because the whole reason I was going is so my kids could go swimming in a pool. The woman I spoke with assured me that the pool would be open and there’s no issues regarding the pool and hot tub. As soon as I arrived to check in I saw the sign for Pool Closed! I was very upset and was told that the maintenance person was supposed to come and never did, they would let me know when he came. Which I am guessing is a blatant lie to my face. The pool person never came and I am assuming never will. Very disappointed

Perfect for a little family get away. The place looks all renovated. Staff is very nice and helpful. Bagged breakfast is creative… jimmy dean sandwich (cook in your room’s microwave), granola bar, fruit cup and apple juice. Gets a little boring 3 days in a row but it’s better than nothing! Rooms are pretty small especially for a family of 4 in the winter with snowy boots and lots of gear especially bc there’s no closet. Pool area was nice and served its purpose. No frill place but good value. You can walk to the outlets which was perfect for us since not every one wanted to go. Plenty of parking right in front of the rooms. We’d stay there again.

This is the first time we stayed here since it’s been renovated.l, and was hoping for a better experience. It was just me and my 8 year old. Check in was quick and easy.
We weren’t too impressed with the rooms. The rug didn’t appear vacuumed, there were a couple clumps of hair stuck on the rug, which stuck to my foot. We had a fruit fly that we couldn’t get rid of both nights. It drove us crazy. The shower had hair and dried conditioner stuck to the tiles, and to top it off I had to get out of the shower while drenched to get hand soap because the body wash and hair conditioner were both empty in the shower. For the money I paid, I expected better. I really don’t like to find hair all over the floor and in the showers. Not sure if I’ll give it another chance.

Upon entering the room it was clear that someone had laid on one of the beds as both the comforter and pillow were crumpled, and the bedskirt was untucked and askew. Disturbing. We left for the evening and when we came back the entire room reeked of cigarette smoke. We are assuming it came from an adjoining room, but the smell kept us awake it was so strong. The “breakfast” that was included was a small gift bag with a frozen sandwich and some sort of side in it. We decided to pass on that. For $468.00 for ONE NIGHT, even during a holiday weekend, I expect much more! Needless to say I will not be returning.

We had big hopes for our stay for our anniversary evening - even paying for the room with the fireplace. We were quite disappointed. At the risk of being called one of those people, I am sharing the following with you:
- It was unfortunate that there were no lamps on the bedside stands, so we had to get up to turn the lights on/off.
- There was no clock in the room.
- The walls are so thin that we could hear everything from both of the rooms on either side of us.
- The refrigerator was so loud we had to unplug it. Because there was so much frost in the freezer we had to pack towels in the bottom to soak up the water.
- The timer on the fireplace was so noisy we couldn't use it at bedtime.
- There were people smoking on the 2nd floor porch beside our room, and an ash tray with cigarette butts sitting outside on top of the heating unit outside.
- Our bed was only partially made. The fitted sheet was barely on the bed, and started coming off when we got in. The flat sheet was not pulled down to the end of the bed, let alone tucked in.
- The bathroom floor was very sticky. No idea why.
- There was also no instruction regarding check-out or what to do if there was a problem (such as late-night noisy neighbors), and no interaction at check-out (such as asking how the stay was, as we may have told them how poor it was, or offering the breakfast that was supposed to be available to us).
- Last, but not least, the coffee was terrible :(
Not what we were expecting at all :(

It was dark outside by the time we arrived to check in to this location and we had great difficulty finding it since the signage was not lit up. In addition, the free breakfast consisted of the receptionist grabbing either a breakfast sandwich for muffin and juice for you. This was totally inadequate and I consider this to be false advertising. We spent another $40 for breakfast. We saw other travelers running across the 4 lane road to get their breakfast at McDonalds. This is dangerous and unacceptable. We were very disappointed with both the terrible lighting at night and the basically nonexistent \"Free Breakfast\". We will not stay here again.

The room was clean, the bathroom had a taped access panel.for the jetted tub that had been over tapped too many times and mildewy, the jets looked dirty, the shower head sprayed everywhere except on your head, hard to rinse shampoo and soap off. The bathroom sink fixture was extremely loose, hole in the bathroom wall and very shoddy carpentry. No bedside lamps or lighting to read by. King bed was old and after staying for two nights not comfortable, outside of our building had construction debris hanging around, obviously remted out some rooms for.longer stays and they had bottles outside. I would not stay here again. The staff was very nice.

There was no breakfast as advertised on the website and based on others reviews. I went down and asked the front desk and she said”we don’t have breakfast, but I can throw something in the microwave for you”, I obviously declined and was super disappointed because it states that it’s a full breakfast. Also, there were several guests smoking cigarettes outside the door and inside their room, that is all you smelled the entire time. The pool is a joke too. I recommend staying elsewhere.

Pleasantly surprised

We booked this place because my partner remembered coming as a child. Then I saw the mixed reviews. I was nervous. Absolutely worth it. Rooms have recently been remodeled. Shower clean (no tub). Check in clerk was awesome. We were arriving later than expected & she was very accommodating. She even researched & found an old rewards account I didn't know I had.
Beds were comfortable & clean.
No carpeting in the rooms which I love.
Breakfast was frozen breakfast sandwich, fruit bar, apple & juice. Better than nothing.
Coffee & tea 24 hrs. Soda/water vending machine.
Pool on smaller side but does the trick. Hot tub was nice & hot. Open 9-8.
We had a private balcony but couldn't use it because \"Charlotte\" had a big ol web blocking the doorway on the outside
Only suggestion is snack Vending machine for middle of night munchies. I ended up walking to gas station at midnight. It was a nice, quiet & relaxing walk
