I was disappointed with our stay. I booked this hotel specifically because it advertised amenities like a poolside bar, arcade, and children’s robes, but none of those were actually available. It felt very misleading and did not match what was advertised or pictured online.

The room also wasn’t as clean as it should have been. We found a used toothbrush and candy under the bed, which made it obvious that the room hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned before our arrival.

The front desk staff were not very knowledgeable, and some interactions came across as rude rather than helpful.

Overall, this hotel did not live up to the expectations set by its advertising. If you’re booking because of the amenities listed online, I would recommend confirming they’re actually available before making a reservation. Unfortunately, our experience was not worth the price we paid. The only upside was the pool and jacuzzi were decent and the playground. But I would have booked somewhere else for that had I known the arcades and bar weren’t available the way it advertised. That was truly disappointing as it was my deciding factor. My daughter was deeply disappointed about not being able to do the arcade games and not having a robe like other kids there seen.

Overall our stay was okay, the roof was being repaired and our original room was facing the outside of the building- we were moved to an interior room where workers were outside of our window the entire stay. They also had fire alarm drills during the stay. There was an overall lack of attention to detail in regards to cleanliness and maintenance

I highly recommend this hotel. The rooms were large, clean and newer. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
There is plenty to do right at the hotel. (Swimming exercising, a game room, movie theatre, fire pit and a playground).

We had dinner at the hotel which was good. The brunch I would not recommend as I did not think it was worth $17.95 per person.

My wife and I spent $757 for two nights. The Jets sign a tool was not clean, and my wife filled it up and all kinds of junk started spitting out to the point that she had to jump out. No ice on any floor since the time we arrived. The shower curtain smelled so soiled. The bathroom sink was not draining properly. I have called several times to speak to a manager and yet to receive a phone call back. I would never recommend this place ever.

DO NOT STAY HERE...They charge for everything and try hide it! ($50 PER NIGHT SECURTIY DEPOSIT ON YOUR ROOM, $22 PER NIGHT AMENITY FEE AND THE COST OF THE ROOM!! NO FREE BREAKFAST EITHER!!

Booked 2 nights here and upon arrival, had to leave (2) $50 security deposits for our room! Found a nice welcoming table with juice and cookies on it, thought it was nice they give this out, only to find it was never replenished once empty! The blinds in our room where the old wood type, which did not keep the sun from lighting up the room at 6AM! (it didn't matter which way they were turned, same results) None of the AMENETIES were even addressed by the staff or through books in the rooms, I had no idea they had hammocks in a courtyard until we came to breakfast. Breakfast was horrible, everything that was supposed to be hot was cold, the DIY waffles were also bland. Another cost were most places give a free continental breakfast. Then when checking out, my husband address the breakfast with who appeared to be the manager and he did credit it back to us. Then we asked for our receipt, we found an additional $44 charged (2) $22 "Amenity Fee"!! I guess this is for the 2 bottles of water they give you in your room and the pool?? Again, nothing was told to us about what else was going on in the hotel. A big disappointment!! I WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO THIS HOTEL EVER AGAIN!!

The indoor and outdoor pools were nice, clean and not too crowded. The room was not so nice. The hot tub had hair in it, broken tiles on the stairs to enter, and didn’t drain properly. The maintenance staff rapidly pulling the throttle on a leaf blower out front on the walkway at 5:13am Saturday morning wasn’t super great, but front desk staff didn’t seem to hear it (she wasn’t at the desk, I had to ring the bell for service). I won’t be returning or recommending but it could have been worse I guess

Another wonderful stay!
As always staff is super friendly, informative and professional. They bent over backwards when we got locked out of our room because of a door battery failure. The housekeeping staff is top notch and extremely low key, making it difficult to properly commend their thoroughness in person.
Amenities are very family friendly, though not over the top, allowing for those of us with grown babies to thoroughly enjoy our stay.
Highly recommend, centrally located and easily accessible, cleanliness++, staff above reproach!

Perfect hotel for guests traveling with children! Nice, clean room, indoor and outdoor pools, playground, pickleball, and movie theater. The breakfast buffet was a little pricey but good. The pools could use a vacuum but we’re quite busy which could be a reason for lots of stuff at the bottom. Pools are a good size!

This Hotel has gone downhill. I have stayed here many times. First off, the Kids pool was broken (the sprayer) the fire pit was broken, the pool was filthy, the patio around the pool is all crumbling and hurts your feet to walk on, the rooms were not as clean as they could be and one elevator was down. I wrote to this hotel while there twice in an info email, went to the desk twice looking for the manager and got the run around and then forwarded those emails to the manager and never heard back. I am so disappointed in this hotel. I understand it was just bought I heard two women in the lobby on the couches talking about how the fire alarms kept going off and they do not know why and one of the women says "laughing put the babies on the first floor" that's not even something to joke about. I paid way too much money to not have amenities and to have not so clean room. I tried to speak with them and no response.

The staff was very friendly. The kids loved the playground. And it was nice to have two pools but they were very cloudy and did not seem very maintained. The sheets on one of our beds had holes in it and there were old bloodstains on the comforter. Not very impressed with the cleanliness of the bedding.

The hotel changed ownership in May.
We've been going there for years. This time, it was awful. Our AC wasn't working properly, all the ice machines were either empty or broken, our room was in poor shape (tiles missing in bathroom, mold on shower curtain, hair dryer barely attached to the wall, chair falling apart, sleeper sofa coming undone, terrible mattress). I asked to change rooms and was told no. They said they would send a technician to look at our AC, the "technician" was the same kid working the front desk. He showed up with a screw gun, looked at it (no screws on the unit LOL) banged on it a few times and said to wait, it might cool down in a few hours. What a joke!!!

To be charged a Resort Fee for this place is a stretch.

The floors through out room dirty. Under bed was horrific there was food and god knows what. So be fearful if you drop anything.
At least didn’t see bugs.
The ceiling was bubbled in the bathroom, plaster falling, no vents in the bathroom

The bathroom had a ceiling leak and towels were soaked, maintenance was called they came felt the wall with gloves on said it was not wet. Meanwhile floor and towels we put on the floor continued to soak up the water.

Air conditioning barely worked.
Would have complained but after maintenance come once no point. Let the desk know all the issues no offer of a discount or anything. Definitely not worth 200 to 320 a night cost the cost varied on the day. Not sure why the charged resort fees.
Breakfast was $17. A person for a buffet.
Location was okay.

The hotel is in a great location, next to outlet stores, close to good restaurants, and with really nice mountain views.

The amenities are awesome: clean pools, decent gym, but there was a musty smell when you walked in.

It seems like it was once a really nice hotel, but the A/C units are really loud, and the rooms were not very clean. There were sticky spots on the carpets (candy), trash left in the fridge from previous guests, and the bathrooms had hair in the sink and on the toilet. Nothing terrible, but my wife and I did have to make sure our room and the adjoining room for the kids. Thankfully, she always brings cleaning supplies just in case.

The beds were clean and comfortable, and the adjoining rooms were nice to have. Overall, it was a good value and a good experience, however, the room cooling units need some updating, and the hotel should revisit cleaning standards.

We had a great stay at the North Conway Grand Hotel. My 6 year old daughter absolutely loved it. The indoor and outdoor pools and hot tubs were great, although very crowded, but that was to be expected. The staff were friendly and helpful. It’s conveniently located near plenty of restaurants, shops, Diana’s baths and Story Land. We will definitely be back!

If you’re not familiar with North Conway (I was not really), you google where to stay and a dozen places pull up with ratings. I went to the “top rated” one. It was very inexpensive. I checked out earlier than planned for many reasons that I won’t list here. You get what you pay for.

I needed another place immediately that was close by. I booked The North Conway Grand Hotel. I would return there in a heartbeat. This is the place to go. Staff was amazing. Hotel was lovely. Food was delish. Two thumbs up all day long!! Thank you for being so accommodating, Grand Hotel. I hope to see you again one day.

We had climbed Mount Washington and really needed a hotel with functioning hot tubs and the advertisement said that this hotel had two of them, one inside and one outside. While the inside one was warm, there were no bubbles. And while the outside one had bubbles, it was the same temperature as the pool, not hot. This was a big disappointment for us but otherwise we would have given five stars if the hot tubs had been maintained and able to be used!

We asked for a handicap room and the room was no way handicap for a heart patient
The bathroom was dirty, the sink was cracked, and there were many spots on the couch
Also the air conditioner sounded like a jet engine about to take off

My room shower wasn't clean. There was dirt left behind and a used face cloth not mine. Air Conditioner was making a loud clunk noice whenever it went on, wasn't able to sleep. The pools were a nice temperature but dirty could use a good cleaning and vacuum. When I was telling the front desk about my room. They guy kept bowing his head with hands in a praying position and kept saying I am so sorry, over and over nothing else. I think this place is under New Management, serve isn't what it has been in the past. Try another hotel.

I was underwhelmed with our stay. Hotel and amenities are dated and show signs of wear. The parking lot was a mess. It’s obvious it hasn’t been paved or painted in quite some time. It made for a messy experience. Staff was nice but not overly helpful. It was missing a lot of those fine details a hotel puts into service and first impressions. I was looking for a “Grand” experience and was a bit disappointed. Definitely average and wouldn’t pay the higher price to stay again.

I paid extra for the hot tub in the room and that's what made it good. We had to leave at 6:45 am and breakfast started at 7am. I wasn't even offered a cup of coffee when told at the front desk. It is the little things that make a hotel EXCELLENT.

It's in a very central location in North Conway, right with all the outlet stores. The rooms are large, two queen beds and a twin sofa sleeper. Just a couple complaints. First, the air conditioner was not working so we called maintenance and they came right up to fix it, come to find out they didn't fix it. We had a very warm first night. The next morning we called maintenance again and this time they were able to fix it after waiting hours and talking to the front deck twice.
We went down to watch the movie that they offered three kids in tow the movie that they were planning on showing evidently the DVD was too scratchy and they couldn't play it so they chose a second movie and put it on for us and then left the room and that movie kept skipping and stopping. So we finally gave up after 20 minutes and went back to our room with three very disappointed kids.
The pool area was great, inside and outside pools and hot tubs. Great playground for the kids. Ping pong tables and pickleball courts to use.

Had to place a pillow and couch against the a/c to stop it from shaking. Indoor/outdoor pool and hot tub needed cleaning. Lots of dirt and even garbage in them.
Other than that, this hotel is in an excellent location, has great amenities for adults and children both. A little TLC and this place certainly would be a resort and easily one of the best hotels in the area.

The Grand Hotel is very family friendly. The grounds are beautifully landscaped with a warm welcome leading up to the front door. The staff are equally friendly and helpful.
The breakfast was delicious. It is very low key and easy to relax when you're there.
The location is also grand. It is located directly behind a huge shopping center where you can leave your car parked and easily walk to the stores. If you need a break from shopping head back to your hotel room. Our family has been going to the hotel for many years and have never had a problem during our stay from check in to check out.
