I have stayed at the \"School House\" many times, and I love how quiet. I know the manager and I just met her soon Royce. It's funny I retired as a captain with American Airlines, when we had to go back to Dallas Tx, it was known as back to the School House! Funny and I flew Pratt and Whitney Engines, and Rolls Royce Engines. Very funny. I now live in the 1000nd Islands, and visit friends in Maine. I therefore head south to North Conway NH to visit close friends living there. I love that MOTEL...Regards, Capt Garth D W. !!! Merci

The main complaint I have is that the bed is very uncomfortable. I barely sleep due to the poor quality of the mattress. The hotel and the clerk at the check in desk were wonderful.

The motel is exactly what you expect to be for its age it's on the older side The price was great it's very clean if you wanted something more luxury you would just be paying for it I've stayed there a number of times always very clean very quiet and a great place to get some rest with no loud neighbors it's exactly what you get what you pay for which absolutely suited me fine. Highly recommend it.

The Inn took us both back to staying in a bed and breakfast in the 80s. That is not a criticism as it felt nostalgic. Room was perfectly clean and had a really homely feel to it.

Staff are friendly. The cabin gives bad old order smell and the bathroom isn’t what show in the pictures. It is very tight for an average person. I feel cheated, as I booked the cabin for 4 people stay and the bathroom isn’t what shown in the property pictures.

For what we needed it was fine,it's not your own bed so the first night was terrible second alittle better. The shower was great just the tub made alot of noise under your feet. and last but not least brushing my teeth in my bedroom was something i\"ll soon not forget.We also lucked out weatherwise for our trip up MT Washington to the summit on the Cog railroad what a nice weekend we had. The room was fine for a single night, but for the price, I expected a more. The tub/shower were in need of replacement and the shower curtain was not very clean. There was also no coffee or tea. The receptionist was friendly and gave dinner recommendations. Check in was fast and easy. Parking was also plentiful and easy. Since it was leaf peeping season and there were a couple fairs in the area, the price was certainly inflated based on the hotel and amenities.

The property is old and loud. The floor and furniture make lots of noise and it is easy to hear neighboring rooms and traffic. The staff was great and the view out the window is nice.

I thought the cabin would be cozy but it was quite run down inside with very old furniture and a gross tub/shower. It was supposed to be available at 3 but hadn’t been cleaned. We were told to come back later. The location was great as there were shops and restaurants near by, but I wouldn’t stay there again. Possibly, the rooms were in better condition than the cabin, but I didn’t see them. We needed two beds which is why we were in the cabin.

Overall, the room met expectation. The staff was really kind and helpful and the location was central. The noise was not too bad, but in the morning it was a bit excessive since I’m a light sleeper…. The shower was a bit small for my 6’3 husband. Overall, it was a bit rundown and older of a hotel so if that doesn’t bother you, this is a great pick and the price was decent for the area.

The place is old, cleanliness is OK, Joseph who runs the place is great and has some good recommendations, including Chefs Bistro in North Conway, excellent lobster roll with butter. Our room had a musty smell not overwhelming but noticeable. Check in area is open tell 9 pm.

For the price during the peak season, this motel is very good. Nothing fancy but clean, cozy, has working a/c, coffee maker with good coffee pods, a small fridge, exhaust in the bathroom, nice view from the windows and had everything we needed. Close to everything in North Conway town. The check in person was very friendly and nice.

For the price, it was great! We stayed in one of the Cabins, which was nice. This is a get what you pay for type of place though. Hasn’t been updated in a long long time. The bathroom did have some areas of mold & the A/C was hardly working. The bed was comfy and the staff was nice! Just know what to expect when you’re going in.

The inn is absolutely adorable concept. I loved having our own little room. Like most of the hotels/motels up here it is close to the street and you can hear the cars, so being your sound machine! The rooms are clean. We did have quite a few Asian beetles in our room (guessing a previous person left the door open). The rooms are older (ie creaky floor, creaky bed, old bathroom). The hot water in the shower was fabulous and the heat/air conditioning worked very well. It is close to Kangamangus highway as well as both new and old downtowns. The staff is kind too!

Let’s face it when it’s foliage season in North Conway. You’re gonna pay all the money even for this little cracker box of a motel room, noisy very dated, but I have to give them props. It was clean. The bed was like something out of a homeless shelter, very uncomfortable and noisy. Very close to busy road.

The school house in was fine, nothing more nothing less. Difficult to watch even basic channels like abc,nbc and cbs due to sign in difficulty. No kleenex in room and lighting was poor at best. We wouldn’t stay there again.

This quaint, historic property was a great way to begin our family vacation as we stayed in North Conway for a couple of nights before heading to Maine. There were plenty of wonderful places to eat nearby, the location was great for walking, and its proximity to the North Conway Railroad Station was tremendously convenient. We'd definitely stay here again if our travels bring us to the area!

Im sorry but this place is not for us. Room smelled very musty, visible mold in bathroom. Carpet was old and stained, didn't feel clean enough to walk around barefoot. AC was loud and constantly turning off and on throughout the night making sleep difficult. I will say the cost was low but not worth these conditions in my opinion.

Great area in town North Conway. The staff member was very friendly. The rooms are old and dated. Bathroom door would not shut, lamp was missing the knib to turn on and off. One bar of soap and two shampoos were the only toiletries and no hair dryer as listed. No ice machine to be found. It was the cheapest option in the area, but wouldn't stay again. We waited until last minute to book and this was what we got. We found the bed to be uncomfortable but that's subjective.
