Friendly staff made our stay. Everyone we dealt with was welcoming and genuinely helpful, which goes a long way. The heated pool was a nice touch and the kids loved it. The grounds and exterior were clean and well kept. The interior shows its age a bit and felt slightly less clean in spots, nothing dealbreaking though. Overall the value for the price is there, and we’d consider staying again.

Great place to stay. It’s well maintained and clean. The staff was amazing and very welcoming. The arcade could use a makeover but that’s about it. My husband and I had a great time. You have a beautiful view and it’s about 10-15 minutes to the town.

This hotel was “meh” at best. Everything is outdated, the pool bottom was covered in dead bugs. The room needs a good deep cleaning, the baseboards in the bathroom were covered in dust and were gross. The outside of the building is grungy and pieces are falling off. The pickleball court is a joke. It’s inside an unused conference room. The ball doesn’t bounce on the flooring they have in there and the ceiling is too low and walls too enclosed to really do anything. I think this place could be really nice, it just needs a lot of TLC.

I spent my 3 day weekend in NH and decided to pick this hotel due to the location and the cost. The staff were absolutely amazing. They were really nice and helpful. The hotel is exceptionally clean but it could use some updating of their rooms. I stood in a room with a Murphy bed and pull out couch and they were on the harder side. If you need something sturdy they are great but I prefer a more plush bed. My only con was the restaurant not being open. I arrived really late and I didn’t want to go back out into the wild in the dark so I went without dinner the first night. But entirely my fault didn’t I missed the restaurant closing in the listing. Also one of the hot tubs was broken but the second one they have worked perfectly fine.

The location with ski in/out is amazing!! The rooms are as advertised - ours was good size with a kitchen so we did not have to eat out every meal which is great. The outdoor pool/hot tub and workout room are all really sweet to have, as well as ski check. Well worth the price paid for the convenience and amenities!

In general, the property is definitely dated. Needs general upkeep outside and inside, could for sure use new carpet and a fresh coat of paint - but nothing obnoxiously bad.

Our only negative for this property is cleanliness and the restaraunt/bar was not open the entire time (even though the hotel full and was over a weekend?).

Cleanliness is kind of a thing. The entire hotel is “sort of” clean. Look in any hallway, stairway, bathroom, corner of a room, common spaces, etc and it became very apparent that they do not vacuum, wipe floors or handles/equipment down, etc. And once you notice it, its everywhere like this. In the workout room and by sauna/pool its exceptionally noticeable because you expect better at a nice place like this. If they simply added one more staff to DEDICATE to vacuuming and wiping down surfaces it would be a much different story for sure!!!

I also have to add that the workout room literally did NOT have anywhere to get water. No drinking fountain, water bottle filler, etc. Also a bottle of cleaner randomly there, but nothing to wipe anything - so the equipment was pretty gross.

If they get this place cleaned up it will be great!!

The location is a 10. Ski in and ski out. It stops there.
It is Grand Summit in name only. Where to begin, there is no hotel staff, only check in staff which are great and friendly. They are overwhelmed as they have to do it all. They go from the front desk to Ski check up a floor then run back down.
Our room was a good size, but the dishwasher was loaded with dirty dishes that had been sitting there for who knows how long. We stocked our fridge, only to have one of the side shelves fall off after the second opening smashing a few of our beers on the kitchen floor. Upon notifying the front desk, we got no response from housekeeping or anyone else.
The stove, coffee maker, toaster and utensils were the worst and cheapest I’ve ever seen and outdated. And don’t forget, you’ll need to bring salt and pepper and sugar, none to be found.
The bed was comfortable.
The bathroom was clean and shower was exceptionally good.
The pool was warm and huge. The 2 hot tubs were hot, but falling apart. The handle used to grab upon exiting the hot tub was broken and dangerous if you pulled on it if you need assistance in exiting. Towels were suppose to be in our room for the pool, none there so you have to go to the front desk. The change room, showers by the pool were disgusting. Mold and dirt everywhere and all the shampoo and soap dispensers were either empty or missing.
Only a daytime grill/store which closes at 1 pm is available.
The exterior has siding/shingles falling off.

The location was nice but the hotels restaurant was closed the whole trip making finding food options extremely tough and inconvenient. The hotel is almost TOO family friendly. Kids run up and down the halls all hours of the night with complete disregard for quiet hours. The hotel in general could use a facelift service wise and facility wise. No room refresh the entire 5 day trip and front desk not responsive at night when calling down for excessive noise. Floors have holes all over them, common area bathrooms gross. I will absolutely stay somewhere else on my next ski trip.

The outdoor heated pool is nice, and even has an extra hot heated jacuzzi which is great. Pool is open late until 10pm, so unique experience to swim outdoors after skiing.

The hotel is right next to the Attitash Ski Mountain and has ski in and ski out, but since it's only end of Dec the trails leading back to the hotel were closed. It's less than a 5 min drive to Bear or Attitash peak.

Restaurant in the hotel is temporarily closed, so you have to go out for food.

There is no water in gym so bring your own bottled water. The morning coffee tea is lacking, the water for tea is tepid and not enough. The coffee was watered down on one of the days.
There is pickleball in the conference rooms, but you need to book a reservation; I did not partake.

If you're looking for an average hotel with a nice outdoor pool that is as close as possible to the ski resort, this is it. If you want more of a premium experience with food onsite, bellboys, etc, then this is not it.

While the staff was wonderful, this hotel needs some serious love. It’s so sad to see what’s become of it. My last stay was back in 2007, and I loved it then. I don’t know what happened, but it surely hasn’t aged well. The rooms and halls felt cold, lacked character. Our room literally was cold as the heat didn’t work an there was no comforter? The coffee in the room was lack luster and without much sugar or cream. We were told there would be a Sunday continental breakfast, and went downstairs on Sunday and was informed there wasn’t. So, all in all….I had no coffee, no breakfast. The hot tub was not at all hot or relaxing. In fact. The heated pool I was told was 86 degrees felt 60. We went across the street to Attitash mountain village and used their amenities which were by far much in much better condition.

I wanted to love this place again so badly. I talked it up before we arrived, to only look at it and wonder where is the love? I was informed a few years back that Attitash no longer owns it, and perhaps now that vail owns Attitash this might be a worthwhile investment for them to look into. The hotel needs capital. It needs love, and I wish I could be the one to help, because I want to see it do better than its current state. I’m so sure the lovely employees who were kind to us do, too.

As a trade show with clients coming to see and buy from multiple vendors, it would have been better if food seevices were available to the buyers also. Without food, hungry buyers had to leave the property, which cut into their buying time.

Unfortunately we were on the first floor underneath what sounded like a group of kids with no parents watching them, playing hockey and running and jumping for hours to the point that it sounded like they were going to fall through the celing. It was extremely loud and It went on early in the morning and one night until after 11pm. If we were ever to consider staying there again, it would only be on the top floor to avoid what was a very noisy and unrestful stay.

This hotel shows as a 3 star but it is most certainly not. Three star implies a restaurant that serves 3 meals but this one only seems open for supper and I don't see why I would return to the hotel just for that unfortunately so I cannot rate the food. Two star is fair for this hotel and for what we paid. While the hotel is pretty from the outside and the main area is also quite beautiful, it stops there because the rooms are quite dated. The rooms are very clean but the prior mat in the bathtub left it permanently stained, the carpet is in disrepair at the door(1st floor) to the balcony that made the door difficult to close. The room heater was stuck at 50F. I reported this to the front desk but it was never taken care of so we used the portable space heater that was in the closet. Then we found the light bulb in the vanity area to be defective. Didn't even bother reporting it because we didn't want to ruin our stay by letting these things affect our mood. We did not use the pool but honestly did not feel like it at all. Biggest disappointment is that we thought we could pay for a breakfast at the restaurant but they don't serve breakfast. This turned out to be a good thing since we discovered Yesterdays Restaurant in Jackson nearby which was incredible. The area around the hotel has nothing but drive into nearby towns and it's incredible. So, for a hotel to sleep in that's clean, I recommend the Grand Summit. If you're looking for more, look elsewhere.

Overall it was fine but just lacking. There were lots of kids and they were running around screaming and maybe it's not the hotel's responsibility? But I didn't see any effort to get that under control.
We were going for an early hike and really needed access to the kitchen or at least a cup of coffee and a grab and go item or two. It is supposed to be open at 7:00 but when we left at 7:40, it still wasn't.
We had no coffee cups in the room. I had two conditioners but no shampoo. Little details like that.

But not gross or skanky or anything.

This hotel was our worst hotel experience, possibly ever. It started with arriving to find out “we were already checked in”, since I obviously just arrived they sent someone to check the room while I confirm vehicle and Payment details only to find out that there really was already someone in our room. Glad they at least checked before we walked in to find someone in our room. They gave us a new room, but when we walked in the trash was full, the window was open, coffee pot and coffee cups were obviously used, hair all over the bathroom, tooth brush and toothpaste in the shower, room smelled like smoke so I am guessing that is why the window was open. When we went back to the desk, the agent was struggling to find another room available so we elected to leave and find a new hotel as between checkin shenanigans and room problems we had already wasted more than an hour. We were able to get our money back from the non-stay, but I wouldn’t consider that compensation for the nightmare that this ordeal created. Just glad other hotels were available with zero notice or it would have been an unexpected camping trip. We did contact the GM of the property, but they never bothered to return our call. Overall this property was a massive fail. Use them at your own risk. You have been warned.

The location was good, but the hotel itself was a let down. The room lacked basic things : there was NO socket to plug an USB, no extra bedding or towels. We were only given 2 coffee pods (one decaf) for 2 days. There was no housekeeping (unless we had to request it which we were not aware of). Lumpy pillows. So in the end, all these little things added up and made stay unpleasant. Also, there was too much food smell in hallways (I guess from everyone cooking in their rooms). The nicest area in a hotel was a bar and restaurant; looked recently renovated.

If all you are looking for is a place to sleep and you don't mind a mediocre murphy bed, then its clean and fine. The hotel is an older timeshare that fixed up the common areas but the room was awkwardly furnished and run down. Noise from other rooms was prevalent. If you're a skier it is super convenient to the slopes.
