Beautiful property, quiet, clean room with the most comfortable bed. Room needs updated though. Toilet ran, sink would clog, paint chipping in bathroom and fireplace didn't have gas turned on.
The only other complaint was missing staff at front desk on the only day we went to the office. People waiting to check in but no staff around for at least a half hour. Housekeepers don't speak English so they weren't helpful. Not sure I'd stay there again. The price was a little high for the room not being updated.

The staff was excellent, very helpful. The bed was great, very comfortable. The food in their restaurant was excellent! Problem was I was awoken after it rained with dirty water splashing on my face as it leaked from the window trim and pooled on the windowsill. When I mentioned this to the front desk they seemed well aware of this issue. Buy a can of flex seal and fix it then!

Everything was wonderful. The room as exceptionally clean, the staff at the reception desk we friendly and helpful. Had dinner one night and one breakfast. Both were good.
We are planning on visiting again this year. Waiting to get announcement of 50% discount.
Because we are physically limited, we need to have a room with a parking space.I realize that you are limited for space, but parking across the road would be a problem for me. I would not be able to cross quickly and there are a lot of cars driving quickly.
You have a wonderful establishment and we hope to stay again!!!

The Salt Box building has steep steps to second floor, they never asked it the stairs would present any problems for us since we were all 60 plus years old, both of the rooms had broken window blinds, we had to use towels to cover the window in the bath room. Neither room had an ironing boards, we even asked for one and they never delivered it. The in room Coffee machines were old and dirty, We knew the buildings are old but they look run down, worn out etc.

We sort of stumbled upon the Christmas Farm Inn by happenstance. We LOVE Jackson, NH and wanted to try a variety of accommodations. I was surprised to find that this property boasts an entire village of housing choices. We were in the Carriage House at the very top of the hill, looking down over everything. Our room had a king sized bed, an oversized bathroom with a jetted tub, a living/sitting room and a balcony. It was so lovely that we extended our stay by another night. Breakfast was fantastic and we even spent some time enjoying the nightly campfire beside the main inn. I can't wait to return around Christmastime!

The inn was full of old New England charm. My room was spotless, bed was comfortable, and all the amenities were there.
On the first floor was the restaurant, where I had two delicious meals- one was Paillard chicken which was exceptional. In the lobby, they provide marshmallows and roasting sticks, which you can take out to the fire pit nearby and have a perfectly toasted marshmallow to top off the evening.
I used the indoor swimming pool and spa three times during my two night‘s stay. It really helped to work out the kinks from traveling on the road and added to the overall stress relieving environment.
Charming, homey, well managed, clean. I can’t say enough about this wonderful inn.

The food was so incredible and thoroughly enjoyed. Huge shout out to Jenn for all of her ideas on where to go to make our weekend even more special - and constantly checking on us to make sure things were wonderful. Everyone went above and beyond especially Abe in driving us back and forth to the Shovel Handle. I literally could write a book on how fabulous this place is!!! The suite was OK good and clean etc. Though the sweet could’ve used a small microwave in it with the rest of the kitchen stuff that was present.
They tucked the TV into a little cabinet hole and you could not view the whole screen. It would’ve been nice to have the indoor pool hot tubs open longer than 9 o’clock at night. Also the flame in our room for the gas fireplace was very low hard to really even see it.

As for the restaurant in the Inn, very very expensive very very limited menu like only seven entrées. The cheapest thing was the meatloaf over $30. The restaurant was closed on Tuesday morning for our checkout all the thing available was coffee and muffins that were all the same and poorly cooked. I do not recommend the restaurant!
The staff was nice.

The room was nice enough - what we expected for a 250 year old inn. We had dinner and breakfast at the inn, and were disappointed both times. The breakfast buffet was touted as the best in town - the eggs were over done, the pancakes needed a steak knife, and no fruit was offered. If this is the best in town, my advice is go out of town!

We spent 2 nights at the Christmas Farm Inn and Spa which is beautiful and cozy. We bought tickets to the Dinner Show \"An Evening with Gianni Russo\" from the Godfather hosted by Hot Mic Events. Gianni's show was fantastic. He told very interesting stories of his life, sang some great songs. After the show, we went to the pub to have a drink. Jen, who was at the bar, was amazing. She makes a great Dirty Martini and Negroni!! Gianni, and people with him, came to the pub for dinner and was so kind to let us stay and talk with him for a few hours. What a treat!! Thank you Gianni!!
Every member of the staff we encountered at the Christmas Farm Inn were so friendly and accommodating. Those who made the stay extra special were Mariah at the the front desk, Jen at the bar in the pub, Josephina who took care of us for breakfast and Mark the owner for his hospitality.

The stay was just average for the price of the rooms. Very clean, common spaces were nice (fireplace, Christmas trees in December, wood floors), but for almost $400/night, the bed was like sleeping on rocks that sunk in the middle, the gym was the size of a closet with no free weights (not a big deal to most people but it was to me), the pool is tiny and the hot tub looked dirty. We didn’t use the pool or hot tub but I peeked in as I left the “gym” area. The PROS of the property is that the staff was AMAZING, super nice and helpful, the room was clean and the jacuzzi tub was very nice after snowmobiling. The room was cozy but dated, looks nicer in the pictures, just very bland in person. The decor in the registration area at Christmas time was so cute and again, the staff was great!!!! I wouldn’t stay here again for the price but had a nice weekend away from the kids. Also, Yesterday’s cafe right up the road was a great breakfast spot!!!! The $18 “buffet” at the hotel had bread, French toast, home fries, scrambled eggs and sausage. Take the 2 minute drive up the road to Yesterday’s cafe.

Room and staff were fine. However, we stayed the Wednesday night before Thanksgiving day. When we checked in we were told they would not be servicing breakfast on Thanksgiving morning because they were serving Thanksgiving dinner at 1:00. They gave us names of places we might get breakfast, but had not done the work to call them to see if they were open Thanksgiving day. In fact they were not and we had to go to a convenience store to get something to eat for breakfast. I feel their customer service lacked in this situation, and they should have let us know about the situation when we made the reservation.

We celebrated our anniversary here, and it was the perfect setting for a quiet, romantic getaway. We stayed in a carriage house suite, with convenient parking right out front, a nice little gas fireplace and jacuzzi, balcony, comfortable bed, and the room was clean and quiet. We dined in the restaurant for dinner and breakfast, and both were delicious, but the food at dinner was excellent and definitely a highlight. Service was a bit slow in the dining room, particularly at breakfast, but we understand places are understaffed right now, and went into both meals in no rush, and were happy to wait and enjoy each other's company.

I booked this inn very last minute, so when I arrived everyone was fairly settled, it seemed I was the last to check in (around 7:30pm), my room was lovely and included a jacuzzi tub, I couldn’t get the jacuzzi to work but I think that was me not reading the instructions properly perhaps. I was offered a warm apple cider on arrival (delicious).
It was easy to pull in to and parking was ample.
The only thing I will say is that I had questions, usual stuff about the restaurant, spa, property, and the staff looked at me as if I was a bit strange for asking questions or wanting to explore the different areas of the property? I’m not sure if people usually just stay in their rooms there perhaps.
I wanted to get a massage but the spa doesn’t do walk-ins, appointment only but they didn’t have anyone available to make an appointment.
The restaurant was closed the next morning when I attempted to go for breakfast.
And the fire wasn’t lit in reception room at the front of the building (it was definitely cold enough and that is shown in the photos so I felt it was a little bit of false advertising).
I would give this place 4/5, and I would come back but I’d probably plan ahead to make sure I could utilize all of their facilities.
