We love the Inn at Thorn Hill! Great home base for day hikes and to do some shopping. The breakfasts and dinners are amazing, the staff incredibly helpful, and there is nothing better than a warm cookie in the afternoon after a mountain adventure. We’ll be back soon for our 4th stay!
Lisa
Our stay at the Inn at Thorn hill was excellent. We stayed in one of the cottages. Perfect in every way. Amenities were great and cleanliness was top notch. It exceeded all our expectations. Staff was wonderful. Food was delicious every meal. The setting was breathtaking. We would recommend highly.
Penny
Third trip here, and still near to perfect as one could expect. Always a warm welcome from the front desk, it's so appreciated. We booked a smaller room this time last minute, and it was still great with all of the amenities and of course the hot tub. The room and inn were immaculate and staff was so professional, and welcoming. Dinner was impressive yet again, we split the lobster special and the under appreciated chicken entree that is worth the drive. The lobster was steamed perfectly, couldn't be better - 10/10 on the food, although our waiter made it clear that he did not want to be there that day. We weren't letting it spoil our time or our father's day getaway, or detract from all the other great staff members, that's how great this place really is. We can't wait to go back, seems like we're making this our go-to getaway spot.

Beautiful inn, immaculately maintained, friendly staff, especially the inn keeper. Great location for exploring White Mountains.
Donna
Our favorite inn! Very clean and nice. Great for a quiet or romantic getaway.
Christine
The room was very clean. We had a wonderful breakfast out on the large porch overlooking the mountains. At night we sat near the campfire overlooking the beautiful lawn & distant mountains. Close to great restaurants and many activities but yet off the main road & very peaceful & quiet
Janine
Spent our 37th Anniversary there, the staff were very friendly and helpful. Had a wonderful massage Jonna again, she makes your body feel brand new, as usual the Tuckerman’s suite was beautiful and comfortable. We have been going to this inn since 1998 and has never let us down. Looking forward to going back.
Maxwell
Fantastic honeymoon stay!! Extremely delicious food—dinner and breakfast were second to none! Very friendly staff, beautiful views, and a magical stay.
Thomas
Staff greeted us when we arrived with a friendly and helpful welcome. “I’m the innkeeper “ she said in a charming and welcoming way. It was cold so she upgraded us to a room with a gas fireplace. We enjoyed the amazing jacuzzi tub in our room, and the lovely view. Also breakfast was included not to be missed! I had a lobster benedict for a very small and reasonable upcharge that was worth every cent. Overall we had a wonderful one night stay and would return.

The Inn should be a destination - not an option. I would give a 10 star rating if possible. The entire staff from the Inn Keeper Nancy, to the mixologist that makes the most creative, thoughtful and balanced craft cocktails... the bar tender that went out of her way to feed me after a VERY long day of travel... to the housekeeping staff... management and more. Start to finish I was treated like a valued guest. Without exception, they all went above and beyond to accommodate every need... even ones that I had no considered. I stayed in 2 quaint rooms - each with a fireplace and jetted tub...views... Breath taking... plenty of hot water and the coziest accommodations: thoughtful and well appointed. The public spaces offer many nooks and crannies to tuck away and be comfortable: outside on the extended wrap around porch with rocking chairs with cushions to enjoy the views... a fire pit... Adirondack chairs on the lawn to take in the views... an interior double sided fireplace with comfortable sitting areas to enjoy. The FOOD... The best meals that I have ever had. I didn't take photos... I should have. The beet salad was beautiful - the presentation was almost too pretty to eat. Stacked, topped with a candied pear and surrounded by flowers, nuts and a sauce. The chick was perfection. The best cocktails that I have had... Just go. You won't be disappointed.

We always enjoy our stay here. Every room has a fireplace & jacuzzi tub. A wonderful breakfast is included. We had dinner at the bar & we had nice conversation with, James, the bartender. All the staff is very friendly.
We always enjoy sitting on the wrap around porch, relaxing & looking at the mountains.

Such an amazing place, nice people annd staff and good food! I’m definitely coming back when I have the chance. So peaceful, cozy and clean. Me and my husband are speechless we have nothing bad to say about it. We just came back home and we already miss it. If you’re looking for a quiet, peaceful and relaxing weekend this is it. Nice restaurants and outlets 15min drive away from it. I’m also pregnant and we spent our “last weekend “ together before having our first bay and they treat me with so much kindness. Zero regrets.

Staff is extra helpful, even if it means bringing a fan at 1:00am to help cool the room for your pregnant wife.

I’ve been here numerous times over the past few years and have always loved everything about it. However, on this trip, I discovered that we had access to the amenities at their two sister properties, including an indoor pool and two outdoor pools. The other hotels are the Christmas farm inn and Whitney inn at the base of black mountain ski resort. We’ve eaten at both hotels too and we heartily recommend them.
We also took the mixology class with James, which was a real treat. Thank you James, Mark, and the entire staff. See u soon.

Overall, a very nice property. Great for adults looking for a getaway—rooms all 18+. We stayed in the Tuckerman suite and appreciated the huge bathroom complete with robes/slippers. Fireplace was nice but a little finicky sometimes (fire would go out and then come back on). One thing that would really be a nice addition to the rooms is having smart TVs that guests can sign in and stream shows to. The cable TV was a little hard to navigate and there were no options we could find to rent movies, etc.
Spa was beautiful and very relaxing. Got a wonderful hot stone massage during the stay. Complimentary breakfast was a good start to the day. We had an excellent dinner one evening and it was nice to relax with drinks in the bar. All the staff we encountered were so nice & helpful!

Beautiful Inn situated on tranquil grounds surrounded by nature and very romantic. Dining options were short but outstanding! Less is definitely more in this case. Rooms were impeccably clean and all staff members were friendly and went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The only complaint was that they operate on a septic system, which we experienced a terrible odor in the room. And although they say rooms are \"sound-proof\" our room was situated next to the very loud elevator/lift and on the other side was the kitchen below us - both contributed to unwelcomed noise later at night and early morning. Otherwise, it was close to shopping and restaurants in North Conway. Overall it was a relaxing and romantic weekend, exactly what we wanted. Looking forward to returning in the fall!
Ying
Perfect stay. Staff very friendly. Breakfast and dinner are the best. The service was superb. Love the handmade mugs at the restaurant, which is also available at the gift shop.

Amazing staff! Sherri is so welcoming! It is always nice to see a familiar face when we stay there and Sherri goes above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast staff; Niklas and Lily were friendly and efficient. Nancy on dinner service was also a delight. Overall I cannot say enough about this Inn!!

The Tuckerman’s Suite was Spectacular, all the comforts of home. The Breakfast’s were delicious and lots of choice. The staff in the dining room were Great, friendly and always making sure you were happy. Amy at the front desk was Terrific always making sure everything was great. Had a massage with Jonna it was Great. All the staff were so attentive and friendly. The only thing was the elevator that we had problems with but the staff was always happy to fix it. The Inn was Beautiful. Could not ask for a better place.

The Inn was charming. Rooms were comfy and clean and decorated just right. The entire staff was helpful and friendly and the meals were excellent! Perfect location in the center of Jackson, NH. Plan to stay there in future visits to Jackson.
Bryan
Amazing place recommend to everyone and will stay there again!
Ellen
Everything. I did a full review yesterday. Strongly recommend. We have stayed here about on about 8-10 different getaways. All have been wonderful. Thank you for everything.

Our visit to the Thorn Hill INn couldn't have been better. Our room was meticulous and comfortable. The view from the room was an expansive view of the mountains. We dined at the inn both nights and our meals were top notch. James and Ed our bartender were pleasant and the mixed drink James made me was outstanding. The staff was attentive and friendly. We will be back soon!
Susan
Beautiful country inn with very nice rooms. The staff is courteous, friendly and accommodating. Excellent breakfast and dinner. Will be returning for sure!!
Jessica
Comfortable stay in the Mt. Webster room. Warmly welcomed upon arrival by the pleasant inn owner. Spacious, very, very clean room with excellent bed and linens. Quiet for an older building. Dinner menu and breakfast menu was great. Service was wonderful. You can tell the inn staff truly care for this inn, inside and out, by the cleanliness and salted walkways and plowed parking lot. While we were there we learned that this inn is the only Michelin rated in NH and we can see why. Out favorite parts were the fire place, library, breakfast, and spa tub.
Donald
Room was clean and very comfortable food was excellent
Ankit
Wonderful staff and clean rooms. Delicious food!

We stayed at the Notch cottage. Amazing room and breakfast! Dinner was delicious (especially the duck! Must try!), though we were put at a tiny high top right in front of the entrance of the restaurant because we arrived at 8:30 and they closed the dining area. That was the only thing that kind of threw me off, otherwise the stay was perfect.
William
Yes. Very
Jason
The best! Excellent atmosphere. Food is great.
John
The room was comfortable and the bath was huge. Everything was very clean.

The stay was just “Okay.” For the price and the reputation we were expecting a luxury boutique hotel experience and that was lacking.
Check in is at 3 but we couldn’t get into the room until 3:30. The lounge doesn’t open until 4:30 so we were left to sit in the library. There is no luggage room or coat room so our bags and dry cleaning were stacked in a corner. Ordered room service which arrived in plastic to go containers rather than plated, poor presentation.
The view of Mount Washington from the Presedential Suite is amazing though, and the Fillet was quite good.
All in all both the Inn and the restaurant Forty at Thorn Hill were okay but we wouldn’t go back.

We absolutely Loved our experience at the Inn. The staff was exceptional. We were amazed with the cleanliness of the entire Inn, especially our Room. I can’t say enough great things about this place. We will be staying here every time we come up North.

John
The ambiance of the public spaces, the quality of the food and beverage service, and the comfort of the rooms combine for an outstanding experience.
Hilary
Everthing was perfect! The ambiance! The food! The room and cozy fireplace. Possibly the best hotel experience I've had to date and I have stayed all over the world. Theres just something about that place. Pure relaxation. Cant say enough wonderful things. Buying gift certificates for family for Christmas so that they can experience this amazing place!
Rebecca
The Inn is truly a special place and the only place I will stay in Jackson. This is my second time at the Inn and I come back because it is extremely clean, quiet and well maintained. The main Inn is exquisite, the staff are very friendly and the overall experience leaves one feeling refreshed. I can’t wait to come back again.
Melina
The room was clean and welcoming. Everything was amazing! We soaked in the tub every night and took steam showers probably more then we should have! The fireplace was a nice touch and warmed the room perfectly! It was a stay we won't soon forget!
David
Everything was quite lovely. Food, accommodations, and staff were all top shelf. Would highly recommend.
John
Elegant New England country inn with gas fireplace and beautiful amenities. Complimentary breakfast. Dinner restaurant very good, but not much for people with allergies. Room is stunning, well decorated and large. Comfortable bed. Welcome was over the top with friendliness and helpfulness - treated like an honored guest.
Dan
Great room upgrade to a suite. Had dinner and it was delicious. Breakfast was excellent and the service was excellent
Michelle
The room was immaculate. The staff are very friendly, especially the wait staff in the morning. The food is delicious, the libations are strong. We loved the gas fireplace in our room as well as the plush pillows and duvet. Overall, the property is lovely.
Stephanie
Beautiful Inn. Great service. Wonderful breakfast.
Greg
We have stayed at Thorn Hill several times as well as 4 of the other inns in Jackson. Thorn Hill is our favorite; the Monroe Room is our favorite room. The included breakfast is excellent; we haven’t had dinner in the Inn for a long time. However, we did enjoy dinner at the tavern (which they manage) next to Black Mt ski slope. Great staff, comfortable bed, clean. I wish the shower water was hotter.
Donna
Professional service with extra touches. Rooms are always very clean. Nice bar and relaxing environment.
Ellen
Everything was perfect.

Summer
We very much enjoyed our stay and already planning another trip back!
Blake
The property was in a beautiful location and the staff were very kind and helpful. The breakfast menu had many gluten free options and they went above and beyond to accommodate our dietary restrictions. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends and family.

Absolutely perfect
John
This is a beautiful property with a great view of the White mountains from the expansive porch. We appreciated the opportunity of sitting on that porch in rocking chairs covered by the provided warm blankets so we could enjoy that view. The service at the bar and in the restaurant was friendly and professional and all of our meals were delicious.
penelope
The property is quite dated and due for a refresh. The bed was comfortable and the location is beautiful.
Lori
Nicest of the inns we stayed in New England. Large bathrooms. Great gathering areas. Great good
Barbara
Wonderful staff! Beautiful room
Kimberly
Just ok
Paul
Just needs a better backing track
This hotel is blessed with professional, cheerful, helpful staff who do all they can to make your stay as pleasant as possible. It's also a lovely building in a beautiful setting. Personally I found the constant background music in the public rooms an irritant. Everything from Bowie to Beethoven in the same soporific style and tempo. The place deserves better.
Deborah
Pleasant place to stay in Jackson. Great breakfast.
Rick and Jeanne
Dining on premises is outstanding with A+ service to match!
Sung
Beautiful area it there but the front receptionist was not professional and terrible attitude she has.
Heidi
Our waitress Nicole is amazing. We have been coming here for dinner for 5 years, the Inn is beautiful and well kept, this is our second time staying at the Inn and we had a great time.
Robert
We enjoyed the whole experience. Pleasant home like atmosphere and a very courteous staff.
Craig
We loved our unique room, especially the spa tub. The cooked to order breakfast was SO good! Wonderful Inn with wonderful staff and service.
Linda
Great staff. Wonderful made to order breakfast. Clean cabin.

One of the best staffs we’ve encountered in all our years of travel. Every person made you feel welcome it was kind of amazing given today’s times.
