Perfect place to stay with a toddler and other friends with kids! Close to storyland and the aquarium. Loved the pool, sheep, koi pond and row boats! So much to do
Jessica
Everything was great from the room to the pools and the viwes
Lisa
Pros: Location, amenities, cleanliness, balcony
Cons: No curtains in bedroom just a shade that let all the light in, no air conditioning in bedroom just a box fan, no tv in bedroom just in living room

Very nice rooms! Staff is perfect.

Overall great for our family of 5! So much space and awesome location for storyland.
Some improvements could be done on the outlets (loosely hold plugs) and hairdryer bracket was not secured on the wall and fell off easily when hairdryer was gripped. Bathroom door was extremely squeaky (woke people up when opened) - but overall, minor issues. We would definitely come back!

The stay was amazing. The room and amenities were awesome. The view from the room was breathtaking. The only major issues we had was the lack of a proper ac unit. Although it worked, it just didn't work very well at all. It was hot in the room during the day and most of the night. Would be amazing if the outside temp was always 65, but it was hot while we were there. Other then that, we would stay again and recommend.
Emilie
This is such a magical secret place, perched totally in the center of an equally magical place (White Mtns.!). I almost want to keep the secret, since I booked it on a whim looking for a bargain expedia deal! Most wonderful of all were the two wonderful women working at the front desk that I met throughout my week-(I'm not 100% sure of their names but I believe one was named Nancy, I want to give them their credit)-who went above and beyond for my last-minute-booked stay. They were extremely welcoming & knowledgeable, & resourceful when I asked to extend (literally everyday) or ask for a late checkout, even as the slow season was quickly turning into busy tourist season.
Listen, you don't get to go on vacation often, so businesses run by people like this, where you truly feel like a guest and not a nuisance # or cash cow to milk, who provide such a unique stay-will always get my loyalty. I already plan to go back & also to book a stay for my parents & have insisted all my friends & coworkers check it out.
Didn't feel like a lot of the carbon copy 3D-printed resort stays around here-priceless views and wildlife, and with that gym, koi/boat pond, firepits, gazebos, grills, pools, game room, spas, trails, equipment rental, LOVELY rooms, etc., -I wish I could rent! There was truly so much unexpected wonder & fun to explore onsite, so many wonderful extras and amenities, that I had a hard time leaving the paradise for anything I planned to do on the trip! And-I'm happy about it!

Location…amenities and staff were great…..the unit that we stayed in could use some updating and a fresh coat of paint……
Marissa
The village was so cute! Loved the view outside our condo. It was a little dated but the beds were comfy and we had plenty of room. Wish we would have spent more time there.

1st- jetted hot tub didn’t work and they knew but failed to inform us even at check in. We had to call for help and after arguing with me over whether I had a jetted tub in my room or not they blew responsibility onto someone else by saying that unit was privately owned and it’s their responsibility to fix it. Which then leads into the issue of I didn’t rent the property from a private owner. I rented it from Nordic village, so why are they not the ones fixing the problem?
2nd- it says it is two queen bedrooms, but they are not queen beds. They are full-size beds at best and they are small and it was a tight fit and uncomfortable.
3rd- tv didn’t work in one of the bedrooms. No cable just black screen. Called the front desk for Help and they did say and maintenance who proceeded to say the unit was again privately owned and he didn’t know why the owner took the TV that he had just pulled up out and put this one in even though that one didn’t work to begin with. Maintenance then proceeded to take TV out of the closet hook it back up and told us we could login into our Roku apps to watch something. So still no cable and no way was I logging in on someone else’s device.
4th- the unit was HOT. Like they wanted us roasting like a chicken. We turned all the heating units down as far as we could we’re off if it let us and still the heat was blasting at full speed I could not that unit was 90° or more and we could not cool it down.
5th- indoor heated pool was cold!
Overall- disappo

We had an amazing time in our junior chalet mountain suite. The view was incredible. We had everything we needed. Spacious, clean, accommodating! My husband and I cannot wait to come back!
Lisa
Staff was very accommodating for extras. Great stay, great view and surprising wild life.
Angela
The staff was very friendly and helpful, but it does not compensate for poor state of the amenities. In the room: The fireplace, which is not wood but electric now, was not working (we were promised 10%off though). The faucet was leaking, the hair drier was not working, there were no pool towels in the room as was supposed to be (they sent the maintenance to bring towels after we called). In the pool the outdoor hot tub had no jets working, it was just a hot bath. The temperature in the indoor jacuzzi and dry sauna was never hot enough. We were leaving during ice storm and the walkways from the unit were pure skating rink, not salted or sanded. The road was very slippery. This place is great, but needs to improve their maintenance a little bit.
Kevin
Room needs to be upgraded. Bathroom fans need to be replaced. When one was turned on in the building, every other unit rattled.
Clubhouse was nice, but should be available 24/7. With fab access this should not be a problem. Many people work out early in the morning, so the posted hours are not enough.

Lovely stay in Glen with a wonderful pool and fire pit for s'mores!

Clean. Beautiful. Well worth the price.

The property is amazing. A few of the appliances were dated but aside from that, we really enjoyed our stay. Staff was great!
Cassondra
The room and view were amazing. The property was easy to access and was close to a lot in town! Had a great time and would definitely go back

Amazing location

Have stayed at least 6 times, in various rooms, over the last 20 years and this will be the last time. The room was a bit dirty, dust and cobwebs. Only One of the 2 mini-splits was working. It was in the 30's at night and cold. The heater that was working was VERY noisy. The blinds were missing from the huge window with the stained glass and built in window bench. Brackets are there but just the bright sun rising in your eyes while in bed. The mattress should be changed, it's obviously old. The shower has two different heads, one was broken and spraying water from around the shower head. It was just awful, it was freezing and bright at 6am, happy 20th anniversary!
We did inform the front desk of the issues when we left, no one really cared

Balcony view was very scenic! All the kitchen stuff was very old and dirty so I wouldn't plan to cook there. Otherwise place is very nice and comfy
Scott
The view from the top floor was amazing. Space is outdated but in good condition. Location fantastic to access Conway, Kanc, brewery’s and good food
Pool steam room and sauna were the highlight- private and open at night

Check in staff were very friendly and gave ideas for things to do. The grounds of the resort were maintained and cleaned. We stayed in the Zurich which was outdated and smelled \"old\" . We booked our stay through hotels.com, we did not get the room that was shown from the web sight as it looked updated compared to the room that we stayed in.
Vijay
Kitchen setup was nice.
Daniel
Aside from water bugs in the bathroom, everything was excellent.
JoAnne
The room had a wonderful view of the mountains & was clean and comfortable. The lock on the door didn’t work correctly. The resort had a great pool & nice game room. Overall it was a very comfortable and convenient place to stay.
Sonia
I loved the resort. It's easy to get to. Alot to do while there.
Hamid
We found frog in the house

Balcony was rotten. Had put new boards on top of rotten ones. Very unsafe. Water leak and damage all inside bathroom. I do not recommend at all. Needs fixing and renovating.
Jove
Great place and very affordable
Mitchell
Our room had an upstairs and downstairs with 2 bedrooms with queen beds. It was very clean and tidy when we arrived. Checking in was easy at the main office and they were helpful with any questions I had. The property had alot amenities, with indoor and outdoor pools, a game room, fitness rooms, hiking trails, and much more. I would highly recommend staying here

The room doesn’t have Mountain View as advertised from Expedia.

Beautiful property with great plenty to do on-site. 15 minute drive to North Conway, and very close to plenty of hiking trails.
Vanessa
It was dirty

We did not use the pool

Every person that I met on the property was extremely warm, friendly and helpful. From the women in reception to the man cleaning the pools to the man who fixed a little problem in our room to the maids I met in the hall, everyone was welcoming and hospitable. The grounds were well taken care of and filled with things to do and the pools and hot tubs were exceptionally clean.
Christine
We only stayed one night. The room had a lot of things we didn't use. Whirlpool, fireplace, refrigerator. The grounds were very nice. We would stay there again. We did not use the pool or gym. Bed was very comfortable.
Michael
Love the pool and the Nordic Loop! Unfortunately with the dry spell no bonfire and smores but otherwise wonderful stay!!
Francis
Get rid of the jacuzzis.
The condos are getting a bit tired. They are clean and comfortable. The jacuzzis need to go. They are old and I can't imagine whats in the pipes. Shower is dangerous because you have to climb into the jacuzzi which is slippery and no handles to hold on to.
CLINTON
Rooms were very clean. Stayed in Hallsberg with great mtn. views. Mattress was a little hard but other than that was fine.
Josalyne
Alway a clean beautiful stay ♥️
Linda
So peaceful. Beautiful view. The sounds of natu re. Great activities & beautiful trails. Bring food. You will never have to leave!
Kathleen
Loved the view of the mountains. Room was outdated .
Robert
Great stay! Very close to numerous restaurants and fun things to do. Definitely recommend!
Rebecca
The hot tubs were cold and they removed the adult one and it is outdated. The tub in the bathroom had the reverse hot/cold and very outdated. Bathrooms in the inside pool area were very dirty. The screen going out to the deck was Brocken and a few bees got in the room. I’ve been a few times back years ago but won’t be back again for the money I paid for one night.
Chris
Fantastic Overnight for local Falls & Cliffs Hikes
Such a gem, with a wonderful staff of lovely pearls of people! From check in through even after checkout and being allowed to use the amenities still, everyone was so welcoming, not only helpful - and eager to be so too. What a great property and set of structures and buildings.
Going from the jacuzzi bathroom that we essentially turned into our own private sauna then out to the very private balcony with gorgeous night sky views for probably a good 150 degrees facing out with at least 120 degrees side to side

So we paid for a place with a washer and dryer. The dryer didn’t work when we got there.

Been coming here since 1990, several times a year. Love it in all seasons.

Would definitely stay again

The scenery was awesome.
Bryanna
Loved it, just warm!
Went for story land which is close enough to walk to! The only problem was the AC unit was only in the living room and the bedroom would get really hot at night. Otherwise beautiful place!
Matthew
The property is absolutely stunning and well kept. The view from Hallstad mountain virw was phenomenal. The jacuzzi tub in the room was unusable due to either inproper cleaning or maintenance but other than that it was a great experience and we will be back again.
David
Good room, small bathroom. Warm in the bedroom.

Lovely clean room

The property is nice however the newly renovated was just some new light fixtures and countertops, the carpet looks old and the stairs leading to the master bathroom were creaky and felt loose. The faucet in the master bathroom was loose and the shower and tub are both really old. Was expecting a completely renovated place but it is only slightly updated. However it is clean and a large place, I would stay there again.
Cristian
A lot of fun. 3rd time there with my family, worth the 5 hours drive
Steve
Stayed on bottom floor and unit above us we could hear every step they took. Also had a small running child that we heard constantly. Units not very sound proof. We have stayed at Nordic Village in the past 2-3 times and never had this problem
John
Beautiful grounds, large apartment, great kitchen.
Diane
Beautiful views!
Alicia
Beautiful property.

We chose Nordic Village Resort for it's proximity to StoryLand and price point for a one bedroom suite with two kings beds. Having a separate room and door for the kids to sleep in was a luxury we were willing to spend on. The rooms were average but clean enough. Beds not too firm and not too soft. This was probably in it's prime about 15 years ago so things are just a bit dated. We stayed for one night and made use of the indoor pool and hot tub with the kids and my husband and I took turns going to the gym facility on site.
Only a couple of marks against the stay and they include a lack of pool towels in the room despite being told we'd have them and an issue with the heat in the room. I had to go to the main office to pickup towels across the street and they were the size of hand towels. I could barely get them around my waist! That night it was a bit chilly and my husband and I had a bit of trouble getting the heat going. There was a fireplace but we couldn't find how to turn it on and the room didn't get warmer than 62 after an hour of increasing the heat on the thermostat. Luckily there were two space heaters so we used that.
Overall it wasn't bad but it wasn't great. Kids had a blast at StoryLand and the pool so location and pools on site were the best features.

Beautiful grounds , only complaint is the fire place in the room was very hard to use and we didn’t get to have it on
Alyson
Place was comfortable and nicely set up! Grounds were great and pools were also nice. Only downfall was outdoor charcoal grill didn’t close which made grilling the food harder but other than that great stay!
