We enjoyed our stay. The slopes were easily accessible. The staff was personable. We were however; disappointed that we were not informed when we booked the hotel that the bar and restaurant were not open. It would not have made a difference in our booking, but it would have been nice to know in advance.

Bright corner room with big windows. Great views. Clean. Comfortable. Murphy bed. Sofa. Two chairs and drop-leaf table. Kitchenette. Jetted bathtub. Good quality towels and linens. Elevator. Large, inviting lobby floor with grand fireplace, sofas, chairs, and tables beautifully arranged for one, two, or more to enjoy reading a book or quiet conversation. Wide veranda with rocking chairs; I can sit and watch the world go by. Wonderful, old-fashioned Christmas decorations all around the property, inside and out, recall good times and ensure happy holiday memories. It's like stepping into a Christmas Village scene. Gracious, knowledgeable staff at the desk 24 hours a day welcome guests and answer all my questions about the hotel and the town. Hospitality couldn't be better. I love this place!

Really fun hotel with a lot of activities around the area as well as within the hotel. There's a pond and walking path towards the river behind the hotel, an arcade for the kids, and an indoor pool. Very charming classic style hotel that would be great for families.

Overall, the property itself was quite nice. I really enjoyed the indoor pool plus the indoor outdoor hot tubs. The staff was very friendly and efficient. However, the room was a bit of a disappointment. The mattress of the bed was quite uncomfortable and the provided pillows had absolutely no support. My head sunk immediately to the mattress. In addition, there was no place in the bathroom to hang wet bathing suits, and there was not a deadbolt between my room and the adjoining. Simply a button lock and a chain. The room smelled so strongly of cleanser when I checked in that, despite opening the windows, the smell was still there two days later. And the TV was mounted to the wall next to the bed, meaning it could not be watched from there. Overall, not a bad place to stay, but those little things really added up to impact my trip.

Myself, my husband, and our 6-month old daughter recently stayed at Eastern Slope Inn. We had a deluxe queen suite. The suite was very spacious and had everything you could need for a longer stay with family (dishwasher, washer and dryer, full kitchen, etc.). However, at $160 a night (usually cost more but we got a discount on Expedia) the room could have been cleaner and could have provided a better bed situation. You get a Murphy bed with a queen mattress that is extremely outdated and very uncomfortable (like springs into your back uncomfortable). I can’t imagine paying full price for that to be the result. The resort offers a lot regarding things to do. They also have an outdoor pool at their Village Places location but it is not well maintained and is not great for a pool day. Where our room was located it was very quiet and the resort is centrally located in North Conway. The front staff (especially Matthew) were extremely friendly and accommodating.

This place is absolutely AMAZING. Saw it a couple years ago from the outside and it was a dream of mine to stay there over the holiday season while they had all their decorations up. This year we finally went, and upon arrival was greeted by Jared who was so helpful and kind. Let us do early check-in, upgraded our room, and even called us when we got to the room to make sure it was to our liking. The pizza restaurant downstairs did NOT disappoint either. All in all I HIGHLY recommend this resort. Maybe just don’t use the jacuzzi tubs that are in the rooms, they’re hard to keep clean, and i found it a bit dirty, they have two hot tubs which are better anyways !

The property has a great location and is walkable to bars and restaurants, the train, and the weekend market. The resort is excellent with outdoor BBQ and sitting areas which is perfect for families. My only gripe is our room (207) has a murphy bed which folds down. It is so uncomfortable. The hotel did provide a topper which made it usable. Aside from that, the room is excellent with a friedge, stove top, dishwasher and coffee machine. Great to have a few drinks and snacks available. The flatbread pizza bar and restaurant off the lobby is probably the best in North Conway with delicious flatbreads and great service.

Such an amazing time as expected at the Eastern Slope Inn Resort, indoor pool that my daughter loved while I relaxed in the hot tub. There were pool and air hockey tables that my son and husband enjoyed and also a game room with tons of games!

Why is the television smaller than my pizza box?
The room was spacious until you bring the Murphy bed down. The television was extremely small and about 10 feet from the pleather super slippery couch. I was excited to watch NCAA March Madness but the hotel didn't have ESPN, however it did have ESPN Deportes, which is ESPN in Spanish, which is odd considering the location of the hotel is not far from French speaking Canada but about 3000 miles from the Mexican border. Good thing, I understand mute. The entrance to the hotel was close to my room and a bus company does its pickup right in front of the hotel. The bed was comfortable, however there were 2 lumpy pillows in the closet and a blanket that you'd expect to find in an old log cabin. One would expect a comforter for a bed in a famous hotel in a ski town. So overall the stay wasn't great, but the location was perfect.

Nice place to stay in North Conway. Very good location down town. The pool and hot tubs are very nice. Especially after a day of playing hard outdoors! Easy check in. Easy check out. Good parking location for a truck with a trailer. A short walk to the lot but not an issue. We will be returning again.

First room had a beautiful mountain room but I was moved to other room with no view due to the first room carpeting being totally wet. Second room had a bad smoke detector battery causing the alarm to chirp hit that was quickly resolved. Things happen and management corrected the issues

Property itself was fine. No elevator and pretty confusing setup where you can only enter at your block of rooms. They don’t explain any of that at check-in. Overall property is fine but at booking, nothing disclosed that there were multiple buildings unattached. I would have wanted to know that at booking as I wanted to stay in the main building so I could access the pool, restaurant, etc.

Somehow we got placed in a room at an entirely different address and we had to walk 15 minute through the forest to get to the main hotel where the pool and hot tub were located. The hotel pool was pretty gross with mold and grime all over the pool and deck. Our towel brushed against the ground and it was block yuck all on the towel. The chlorine was so strong it turned the inside of our swim suits yellow/green. They did not have lights on the path when it got dark. It was pitch black on our walk home with my child and we ran into a bear and fox family. We started to hear howling. I called the front desk to ask about the complimentary coffee for our room since we didn’t have any and I was told it would be a awhile since my room was so far away…yes I know the room was far always also they only had 3 parking spots for the 6 rooms on our property so we didn’t have the “free parking” that was advertised. We had to park 0.5 miles away and walk.

Been coming to Eastern Slope Inn for over 30 years. I appreciate that much about the inn has remained constant so it feels like coming home. The changes to the inn and its property have simply made it better.

Most of the staff we interacted (5-6different people) with at this \"hotel\" was consistently unfriendly and even rude. The hotel looks really charming from the outside, but that's where the charm ends. We even had to put the sheet on our beds, 2x because we had to change rooms. They initially put us in a room next to one they were remodeling at 7am (woke to pounding and electric sanders), then changed the room, and didn't ever apologize for the inconvenience. That experience wasn't the only reason we were disappointed, they just were never friendly, except for the one man who did agree to help move our bags—he was the only nice person.

This was a door of the moment trip. I booked the room the night before we left. Options were very limited. I have been coming to North Conway since I was a child and always wanted to stay in the big White Building. Since this was one of my few options I finally jumped at the chance. The price was very reasonable, even more so once I arrived on property. Our room was spacious with full kitchen, washer/dryer, and enormous bathroom with jacuzzi style tub. Room was very clean and beds were comfortable. The gym was set up nice, and the pool area was amazing. Indoor and outdoor hot tubs. My only regret is that we didn’t book a third night.
The check experience was quick and painless.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pool area was very nice as well. We had a room with a murphy bed and found it to be very uncomfortable. We probably wouldn't go that route again. The queen pullout from the couch for the kids had what looked like oats on top of the sheet, hopefully just from a past guest eating on the couch before they checked out. The building seemed well maintained but I don't think staying here again would be at the top of our list.
